    Well on YuGiOh there are cards that have that effect that negate the card effect so u can get enough time to find a way to deal with that minion that u dont have resources to deal in this turn, if that was implemented i believe it would be fair, because erase a card text is just too powerfull, maybe owl would negate the effect for the opponent next turn and higher cost silence effects would negate for more turns

    The 5/4 That already exist for Druid and Rogue im pretty sure that gonna become staple because the sinnergy they have on that archtype, but we still have to wait and see what new 4 drop gonna come from the new expansion, but as far i can tell i believe that 5/4 is a solid stat line that was on check because Shredder was around in pretty much 90% of the decks, since shredder and boom are so good that u can fit then anywere, but with him rotating out those new 4 drops can shine on that spot

    As good Yeti is the fact that he is vanilla can kind hurt him getting played, while a 5/4 with some kind effect can give u a better impact on the board so we need to wait and see

    Another way to nerf would give him the Black Knight and Harrison Treatment, and increase his cost to 5 or 6 and Put him like 4/5 or 4/4 if he cost more people couldnt just snipe your huge minion and still develop the board with others minions on the same turn, that is one way to look at

    Velen is garbage because it's a 7mana 7/7 that does nothing the turn it's played. Unless you pair it with the Hero Power, in which case you just spent 9 mana to do slightly more healing than Light of the Naaru (1mana) with no minion spawn.
    It's like saying that people doesn't use War Golem because of BGH.
     Velen is a card that need u to set up, but if he cant survive because your oppenent just bgh the card then it has no point, its almost same as malygos but is not easy to remove as a 7 atack minion, if they nerf bgh, people might start using some minions with that power and maybe build decks around it

    Someone posted some really great ideas early on this post

    The BGH to kill 8 Atack minions i could see that being a thing since bgh was only made to counter giants and put then in check

    Aboout the FON making summon 3 treants with taunt would be good

    or The Savage Roar to only buff minions would be a fair nerf since double combo would make alot less damage

    Jugler a 2/2 is a must on this possible new nerf

    A solution to the Murloc OTK could make the Bluegill as a 2/3 without charge so to make the otk a thing u would need to use faceless on Murk eye to try to make it work and that would make the deck more inconsistent on the long run and not as powerfull as it seem that will become on the new format

    Ship's Cannon is hard to lose since the card is soo good when u can make the plays, One-eyed Cheat  i never used on any of my pirate decks tho, but since Rogue are losing oil that is the main rogue card from this meta, i really hope they bring some new rogue cards and make the deck a viable thing for us to play with it

    1. Savage Roar - Give atack only to minions and costing 4 Mana

    2. Knife Jugler - Become a 2/2 would still have a powerfull effect but would not trade well and not become the number one choice for a 2 drop

    3. Alexstrasza - Heal Your hero for 15 Hp, or Set your own Health to 15 (still great defensive tool to survive until u can set up your combo but would not be broken to set up otk)

    4. Tirion - Remove the Taunt, since the main problem about him is that u cant ignore him, he would still be a powerfull minion but without the taunt he would be more balanced and not become that winning play coming from a single card

    5. Divine Favor and Battle Rage - Cheap excessive card draw like this shouldnt exist, the solution should make a limit for the card draw to 3 or something like that

    6. Doomguard - Make him with charge only if he discard the 2 cards from the hand, making the empty hand doomguard not as good, but to be honest this change would still make him broken since he is a 5/7 with charge for 5,

    7. Ice Block - i dont know how to balance this card, but the way it is, is not quite fair ice barrier is a example of a card that is balanced but not this one, should get a rework and see what the devs do with it

    Your idea is like a Sense of demons for pirates, is not bad i must say, but a card like adrenaline rush would make the deck consistent something that the deck is not at the moment, the parrot was nerfed long ago from 1/2 to 1/1 and that make no sense, if they changed the stat line back to 1/2 that could maybe fit into the decks

    My intention was to make the hero power have sinnergy with the weapons, but if u give the weapon +1/+1 each turn would make the hero power way too overpower, but maybe a permanent +1 in the weapon could help a little, im really hoping blizzard do something and push some changes and make this more viable, that could shake things up on a meta that is all secret paladin and combo druid, is becoming kind boring and those fun decks really make worth the while

    That is why i said that we need more pirates and defias would be just too good on a deck like that, the other route they could take is make new pirate cards and focus on the combo mechanic so it could be balanced out in some way and make a legendary like this to give it a boost

    I really hope blizzard push something for rogues on the next expansion but for me what it need at this moment is card draw because of the low curve and maybe some powerfull pirates that can make a impact on the board, i loved the justicar on the deck and after i saw that i though that they could make a pirate legendary that would change the rogue hero power and make more like the beta one, that could be something nice for a change

    The idea about the weapon i like it

    since dragons need to have a weapon on hand, maybe some new cards with effect that u need to have a pirate on board to activate its effect and a weapon that get buffed or buff a minion with mechanic close to that would boost the deck so much, and pirate rogue even tho is not that strong is just so much fun, if those changes happened, this could become a viable deck after all

    Im been playing pirate rogue lately and the deck is just so much fun to play, since the deck is 100% tempo driven i though if blizzard introduced some new cards on the next expansions and changes some cards that already exist this deck could become a viable rogue deck besides Oil rogue, since raptor rogue is not that good.

    Here are a few changes that i think could help the deck fight for a spot for beest rogue deck and might become something good.

    Van cleef is powerfull card and making the card a pirate or a pirate with effect that look like it would improve the deck alot.

    This is probably what pirates need to become a thing, the sinnergy with ships cannon is insane and could turn the thing around for rogue.

    And last, the thing that pirate deck need is card draw since the curve is low and prep+sprint is not that tempo driven, and making it for u to have a pirate on hand or on the board could balance this card right and give this deck what lacks and maybe become something viable in the future.

    if anyone have any ideas that could make this archetype work, i would love to see them

    Now i trully believe shredder should be nerfed on the stats, he pretty much take the spot for optimal 4 drop because he trade well with any other 4 drop on the game and leave another body behind, Cards like savage combatant and Tomb Pillager have no spot on usual decks because shredder will kill then and still give u a 2 drop, making shredder like a 3/3 would still be playable and fair i think. Now about mad scientist he should be nerfed in a way that he can still be viable and make him a battlecry that add a ramdom secret from your deck to your hand, like the parrot from the pirates at least that way it would still be a plus without being broken
