posted a message on A Way To Add Old Cards to Standard

With Standard bringing a new way of playing and some fresh air to the game, also come the fear of the fear of losing some cards, and i believe could each year add a couple class cards from the rotating sets in the standard roster, while this being a dangerous move i believe they should only add cards that somehow became a part of the class identity and not cards that are usually powerfull in that class, one example for this is Quartermaster that is a card that is not considered as powerfull it can still support paladin hero power and then being a powerfull card to support the identity of the class, on the other hand a card like Lightbomb for priest even being too powerfull is a must of on the class and then needed to be added to the current roster to make the class on par with the others.

Here are the cards i believe could be added that would not in any way make the class stronger and still would make the identity more clear

    Paladin:

    Quartermaster

This card being powerfull and somehow supporting the class identity not being too powerfull unlike Muster for Battle

    Priest:

    Lightbomb

A card that pretty much is a must for a priest deck and the only comeback mechanic before the standard and fixed on the priest history

    Druid:

    Druid of the Fang

With Blizzard trying to push a Beast for the Druid class, this card being on the standard roster could be a great way to make the deck viable

    Mage:

    Duplicate or Flamecannon

Those 2 cards seem good on mage and pretty much used across most of the mage decks

    Shaman:

    Reincarnate

Not much need to say since GVG and Naxx didnt bring any staples for shaman beside crackle and that is not a card that should be on standard

    Rogue:

    Tinker's Sharpsword Oil

With blade Fury gone i dont think this card woud be used but beside this the only other good card i can think is Sabotage and i dont think  people would use that card either

    Warlock:

    Voidcaller or Darkbomb

Voidcaller might be a very powerfull card but that is the main enabler for demons and with blizzard saying they are going to print more of then this card would fit the theme and enable more powerfull demons decks and maybe someday people stop the zoo madness, now darkbomb is not as powerfull and probably a very important card for control warlock decks and that would be a very nice on standard roster

    Warrior:

    Shieldmaiden

the other alternative being Death's Bite and warrior with another powerfull weapon it would become the most powerfull deck around and we dont need that and shieldmaiden a powerfull card but not overpowered in any sense

    Hunter:

    Webspinner or Glaivezooka

those two cards being used on most hunter deck that could fit very well on the class flavor for the future

What you guys think about this idea, and got any suggestions?

With a card like this a Tempo Rogue archtype can emerge, because if u face a aggro deck and backstab their 1 drop and follow up with a 2/3, its so much tempo that u start winning from turn one, but we might need to see what the meta gonna be like

posted a message on New Druid Card - Mire Keeper

Ill admit the card has alot of potential, but usually turn 4 is already late for ramp most of the times, the best use of this card would be innervate on turn 2 like a dude said already, that is the most u can take from this card i believe, maybe the normal mana crystal is pushing a little but the 2/2 treant with taunt i believe would be the optimal for this card to become a staple, but i might be wrong so i have to wait and see what kind of druid deck will come in the near future after the expansion and the nerfs are released

It should been a 2/2 Treant (maybe with taunt) and give u a mana crystal not only a empty one, so u could use a living roots or a raven idol right away, if that was the case this card would become staple on druid, but the way it is now i dont think so, u wont trade keeper of the grove for this

posted a message on Making Overload Shaman a Thing

i was thinking that shaman have some pretty overpower overload cards, but since that mechanic most of the times can backfire and u cant plan because of the locked crystals i was thinking in some cards that could make the shaman overload/control a thing, and i hope u guys can give some sugestions too

This Card on Rogue would make pirate rogue a real thing for sure, the synnergy with Bloodsail Raider would been insane, or a Turn 1 Bucaneer and Coin First Mate, This is for sure a great chance they missed for rogue to get a new archtype

posted a message on New Mage Card - Forbidden Flame

For Me it should deal double the damage of the mana u have used on it, so is pretty much a better version of flame lance that would see play is all tempo mages because u can use even on 0 mana just for a extra fireball on antonidas or for flamewaker missiles, they missed a great chance with this card

posted a message on Silence should be temporary
    Quote from Slayardarklaws >>

    Silence is "mostly" fine.

I remember reading in some interview that the devs wheren't exactly pleased with the mechanic. Anyone could notice that since day one of Hearthstone's release to this point no new cards with silence (except the very conditional ones) were added. That could hint at the mecanics power and balance.

Silence is fine because it's mostly dead. No one plays "silence" the priest card, spellbreaker barely sees any action outside of the arena ( but he's good at it),  mass dispell isn't played, the situationals one aren't played...

I don't have much to say about keeper of the grove because the state of druid rn is so infuriating I can't decide how big a part of the problem he is...

Wich leave us with ironbeak owl. Silence is "fine". The owl isn't. I'm not really into animal cruelty but if there was ever a beast to deserve a good swing of the nerf bat, ironbeak owl is the one.

Well u said it all, silence is not a problem
i Think the only 2 cards that are a problem is Keeper and Owl, besides that i would be kind ok when i get silenced by a spell breaker, if those cards get nerfed it would be totally fair and ok

posted a message on Blizzard needs to learn how to nerf cards/decks properly.

Every mechanic need a counter and since kezan is going out they needed a new, and that put the deck on check if it get more powerfull then already is on the future, and the card dont have a great of a body for 4, its the usual tech card that when u get the value is great but it will sit dead against most classes, and i doubt people would stop playing challenger if is still powerfull on standart just because of one tech card people will never use, that is not a nerf is just a way to put some mechanic on check, is the same that saying that ooze or harrison make weapon based decks impossible to play, rogue dont see that much play is not because of that but because there is no strong deck out there

Well o the new deck recipes, on decks that usually run owl they are not running one copy of it, so i think that owl is really getting nerfed and getting a different effect and maybe only neutral silence effect left is spellbreaker so its kind ok i believe

yea forgot the card name, that is the effect i wanted, the same way freeze effect make the minion impossible to atack for that turn, the silence effect would have the same mechanic even tho buffs would still get silenced and cards like Edwin and Twilight Drake would still be weak, but cards with deathrattle would need to be killed on the same turn of the silence

posted a message on Silence should be temporary

i was thinking about more in the breakthrough armor kind of way that negate the effect for the turn only, the way the silence is on Hearthstone is already like a skill drain, card like mass dispel do that already, i think silence should be a mechanic only available for priest that have classic cards that focus on that and making that class good with that and not every deck having that ability, and silence for every deck limit the creation of any buff mechanic kind of way because the fear of buffing that minion and just getting a huge silence that turn the game around
