What perplexes me the most is that The Boogeymonster didn't teach Blizzard that this effect isn't Legendary-worthy. It's basically worse than Gruul who gets the +2/+2 over one turn naturally, and Gruuldidn't see play even in vanilla. Darius Crowley is not a terrible card by any means, it's certainly useful. But it's not unique or powerful enough to warrant the "one per deck" limitation. It just looks like an epic to me.
Would you rather see future Asian dragon-inspired minions redesigned to look like European dragons? 'Cause I doubt Blizzard would give them a Dragon tag otherwise.
This logic with Keleseth you used works both ways. Although I hate aggro with white hot hatred, it's a necessary evil that Blizzard simply could never keep in check, and giving aggro tools to everyone is good, just like giving control or combo tools to everyone. Imagine if Sonya Shadowdancer was a neutral card. Sure, she'd be really tough to balance, but all classes would suddenly get a huge combo deck enabler. That would be incredible.
Exactly this. There will be less trying to make bad and mediocre cards work, so people with better decks will just win off of tempo. ChanmanV was never any good at drawing conclusions in HS. Or anything in HS, to be blatantly honest.

"there aren't any powerful combos Paladin has anymore in Standard."
Get the fuck outta here.

Surreal. Unexpected. I wonder if Hearthstone's demise is dead ahead and wise Ben is wisely jumping ship.

You're getting worse, man.

Yea, pre-nerf Ancient of Lore totally never saw play.

Out of these, only Gnoll Trapflinger isn't either trash (Trickster, Edward, Will, Blazewing) or absurdly broken (Ranger, Conquerors, Remulos).
Usually, these competitions bring out decent inventions, but this time around, this is about Team 5 level of design.

Probably as a crappy soft taunt against aggro.

Ah, April Fools'! The day of the worst forced jokes of the year.

Flux is doing great for a non-native speaker.

Quests are 1-mana spells that you put in your deck. Why would Genn ignore that?
