I have won a lot of matches using Deck of Lunacy deck. It's a good deck. And knowing the deck inside out helps me now to beat it with own version of Libram Paladin. DH, Aggro Shaman, Hunter and Libram Paladin beat it. Take your pick.

Nightmyria posted a message on FINALLY!!! FINALLY!!! NERFS ARE COMING!!!Posted in: General DiscussionThey missed the mark with Tickatus. That card was the main reason why everyone was playing agro, since it disrupts any control/combo deck. And, they also missed Evolve Shaman's weapon. That thing should have 2 or 3 attack. It delivers 16 damage to the face if we don't count the 2 additional copies you can get (32 in that scenario)... That damage output while also developing a huge field it's extremely unhealthy. And given that they nerfed the main decks that countered it... It'll be everywhere.
Just play Elysiana to counter Tickatus decks. The meta should slow down a bit now. And the reason everyone was playing aggro was because it was too consistent and reliable for anything else to survive, including Tickatus warlock.

hillandder posted a message on DH must be nerfedPosted in: General DiscussionHow much a class need to be over represented in ladder to finally the necessary nerfs can be done? I have almost 50% of my matchs being DH in a game with 10 classes.
What they waiting to completely shatter this cursed class with nerf hammer?

Jonesy978 posted a message on DH must be nerfedPosted in: General DiscussionStarted to climb the NA ladder again today, and now I am convinced DH needs nerfs.
Over half my games are DH - either aggro or soul.
I'm sick of it. Aggro is brutal - entire games are over by turn 4. It just feels awful.
Soul is also ridiculous. Blade Dance is the primary target for a nerf, but that stupid Bladed Lady is also pissing me off.
Don't forget DH also has silence from a 1 mana spell and Kayn.
The meta needs diversity. I have seen one warlock, zero Druids, one Priest, two Warriors, and one Mage. A few Paladins. 90% of my games are DH, Shaman, or Hunter.
I imagine Control Warrior will be more popular soon, which is also depressing, but what do we expect when this DH junk is everywhere?

YoHabloEspanol posted a message on DH must be nerfedPosted in: General DiscussionIt's crazy to think that there are people out there who thinks DH is a balanced and fun class to play against. And then I play ladder, see how many DH's are playing and then remember you are all playing demon hunter

M0res posted a message on DH must be nerfedPosted in: General DiscussionI know it’s been raised before. Aggro demon hunter ( although I’d rather watch the grass grow rather than play the most boring deck EVER) needs a nerf.
I know it’s there so F2P players can get a chance in the ladder but come on - play whatever card you get and do 8 damage at turn 3, followed by a 6/6 minion is an absolute joke that ruins the fun for everyone (except from the DH player who feels they are exceptionally good at the game - LOLs)))

SaZug posted a message on Tempo Elemental MagePosted in: Tempo Elemental MageMan, i really want to thank you dearly for this deck. This has been the most fun i've had in Hearthstone in quite a long time, and came just in time for me as well as the current meta with all the Aggro DH and Insane value Rogue was really demotivating me to play at all.
But all that changed when i picked up this deck (slightly edited though - I put in the Quest instead of Astromancer, as the latter is unfortunately not part of my collection).
This deck is so versatile, and can adapt to various styles and types of opponent and it feels so rewarding to have these insane tempo turns where you whack spell after spell into the game while simultaneously finishing those quests. I have never been much of a mage player before and my winrate is not really sublime at the moment (little over 50% i'd say), but this deck is a blast. Even more so, I have the feeling i'm actually learning a lot from this deck as well. To me it seems quite easy to pilot to have a fair balanced match up, but if you are able to master all the potential combo's you can pull off - i can imagine the winrate with this deck could skyrocket.
All in all, i'm having a ton of fun and I definitely notice I am improving as a player. Thank you so much!

MechoPuh posted a message on I belive in Miracles! 70% winrate over 40 games.Posted in: I belive in Miracles! 70% winrate over 40 games.Fun deck, nothing more. Gets destroyed by deathrattle hunter, every aggro deck (unless you are very lucky with the draw), almost every druid decks, malygos and deathrattle rogue.

TSMS posted a message on Mathematical PROOF that Standard Ladder is RiggedPosted in: General DiscussionI just did a similar test. As OP I took two paladin decks that only differ in third silence vs. second Knifejuggler and queued at rank 5, 0 stars.
Before each game I tossed a coin and either used the deck with or without silence tech. Then I marked each opponent with an o if it was a control warlock and with a x if it wasn't. I stopped after 100 games, because I got fatigued.
The sample size is pretty small, of course, but I'm pretty sure if the discrepancies were as big as OP stated my findings would have been different. I also have recorded the whole thing and could provide the video in a few hours.
Edit: Video

I don't think it is the way to go with Dar'Khan - you have negative synergy with Bloodmage Thalnos and Tamsin Roame being undead and risking discarding them instead of Dar'khan. You also lose ability to res Dar'khan with Infantry Reanimator (which has also negative synergy with Lady Darkvein Shades).

Obviously no new decks will appear. These changes are very far from promised "spicy".

Well, he's right, Rogue is still as powerful as it was. And Rogues are the most toxic players ever. Sad meta.
5
No, you are just not willing to understand, sadly. Also what you iterated is your wonderful hunter deck, rogue, which is part of toxic meta problem and another hunter, which just got nerfed and is no longer answer to anything. And no, there are no great DK options as well, this class just sucks. You just want to brag about your hunter build and how you perfectly deal with one deck. Fine, but don't pretend It's about homebrews and you know it very well, but you still will just use this "argument" just to try making your point look valid. At the same time you just willingly to blind about how great this meta is for 2 classes which have numerous builds and how restrictive it is for other classes which have one build or no viable builds whatsoever.
At least listen to top players, content creators how this meta power creep and mana cheat went absolutely bonkers, making some classes very priviliged and others neglected if you decide to ignore practically everyone in this thread just to force your claims.

The problem is that Rogue and Druid get the best class cards and they can use neutral cards better than any other class too. All other classes are to generic and slow to compete.
4
Yes, Druid is toxic. It's only Druid and Rogue if you climb ladder D5 to legend as Rogue can make absurd 20+ weapon and 20+ stealth minion turn 6, but still more Druid.
1
Interesting argument - DK is not as good as DH, Druid, Warlock or Hunter, but it does not mean it's weak - well, yes it does. And it has 1 strong (blood) and 1 playable (frost) deck out of 10 runes combinations.
It will get worse as DK has no room to improve and people will come back to strong decks once they stop playing with new toys.
And yes, all may change due to nerfs, but now it is what it is.
1
I am complaining. And you get these stats only because people play DK so much. But once the honeymoon ends, they will return to much better classes like Ramp Druid you have absolutely no chance against as they are better control deck in every aspect. Meta was, is and still will be Theotar and Sire - nothing changed and Druid is much better at this.
3
Every single game I play is finished with Sire.
Every. Single. Game.
3
Imp Warlock, Beast Hunter, Relic DH, Control Shaman, Ramp Druid, Control Paladin, Thief Rogue, Spooky Mage, Evolve Shaman, Taunt Druid. All of them play it. If you compare it to C'thun, you have no idea what you are talking about
At legend Thief Rogue, Ramp Druid, Relic DH, Spooky Mage, Control Paladin, Control Shaman alone are more than 50% decks of the meta, at top 1k legend - more than 60%. That means every second deck you face plays Sire.
You might not play at legend, but still at all ranks the most popular decks are Thief Rogue, Ramp Druid, Imp Warlock, Spooky Mage, Beast Hunter, Aggro Druid, Relic DH. In Top 7 most popular decks only one does not play Sire!
So yes, Sire is too good and too popular.
