Are you really looking for advice on this game or are you just wanting to complain about losing what is probably an unfavorable matchup?

Kwakdizzle posted a message on A Simple Change Fixes Warlock!!!Posted in: General DiscussionThere are soooooooooooooooo many threads that are already dedicated to suggesting and discussing changes specifically for warlock.
And how good at game design you must be to instantly solve the meta. Changing all three cards is far from necessary, one change would probably be enough. Not to mention, warlock is the only thing that holds even paladin back. As the design team already stated in the interview, cubelock has a lot of counters, but it's strength against the strongest deck in the meta, even paladin, is advantageous enough to keep it in the meta. So try considering a holistic view of the meta when considering changes.

Snake_Eyes posted a message on NO NERFS, JUST BUFFSPosted in: General DiscussionSo many players seem to only want the good decks to be nerfed. They lose against a good deck and it's all "That deck is OP, NERF IT NOW."
In my opinion, the game would benefit more from buffing the Witchwood expansion. We all know the power level of WW is fairly low, of course that being amplified in our minds since Kobolds was so influential. Whether they're planning a new start for Hearthstone or something, a little increase in power could go a long way. Instead of nerfing the top tier decks, what if we had better WW cards that could just add more competition to the meta?
To me at least, it would be great to just buff some cards and allow more decks to be made that can compete against Cubelock, Aggro Pally, etc. Now I'm not saying I have the perfect solution but just off the top of my head, how about make Emeriss cost 9 mana? It could buff a charging boar hit with Dire Frenzy and attack the same turn.
I'm not even sure lol I just wish more thought was put into buffs rather than just nerfing everything. Now nothing is set in stone yet so I'm hoping they don't kill everything, but add some power for new decks, who knows!

SlydE posted a message on Did spiteful summoner get nerfed?Posted in: Card DiscussionQuote from leviathan2000 >>Honestly, do you guys think that spiteful needs nerf? Or she will be balanced once the other expasions come in?
As stupid as the card is, it keeps a lot of minion based decks viable. I would not nerf it, but if paladins and controllock gets a hit, it should be nerfed too. -

Grabasski posted a message on I don't think the issue with cubelock is the minion cheating/cubesPosted in: General DiscussionA lot of folks are using the word cheat. A 5 mana card that summons a minion from hand at the beginning of the following turn is not a cheat. Play Cube Lock, try it, have your weapon destroyed and your minions silenced. YOU CAN TECH AGAINST CUBE LOCK. Also, any deck that gets a good draw/mulligan can play an insane combo. It always feels bad to get wrecked by a good combination of cards and that's why synergy is important in this game.
Many players want to complain about Cube Lock, but it feels just as bad to lose to Taunt Druid/ Quest Rogue/ Spiteful Archetypes.
Also worth noting: Hearthstone is a game of chance and Blizzard has done a pretty good job at making game very fair by changing the way ranked play works and eliminating decks/cards that are too powerful.
I'll admit my personal bias enables me to overlook the games when opponents don't have cards to play and it becomes and easy match, but I sure remember all the times it seemed like my opponent got the perfect mulligan/curve/combo and hurt my feelings. That being said, with enough pressure, if a warlock doesn't draw their defensive tools before turn 6, then between life tap and small amounts of damage each turn it should make the game win-able.
Losing isn't fun, but no one has a 100% win rate. There is a lot of salt towards Cube Lock while Paladin and Druid statistically show equal or greater win rates, which likely means that they are just as good at beating their opponents, or better.

aleathas posted a message on Can we just say it already?Posted in: General DiscussionI totally disagree actually. The meta is going super nice as I constantly encounter different classes. I haven't seen a meta, in which I often meet cubelock, control warrior, face or spell hunter, crow or control mage, odd/even pally, spiteful or taunt druid, mind blast or spiteful priest, quest or tempo rogue, elemental or OTK shaman. If you haven't played the 5 turn scum pirate warrior, c'thun or jade cancer druid, secret paladin metas, then yes this might appear terrible to you, but believe, it is not.

B0n3d4ddy posted a message on New Mage Minion - Bonfire ElementalPosted in: Card DiscussionThe fact that Mage is getting better class Elemental minions than Shaman (compare Bonfire Elemental to e.g. the basically unplayable Stone Sentinel...) says a lot. Also, if Mage didn't have enough card draw/generation already...

InfiniteSadness posted a message on New Shaman Minion - Totem CruncherPosted in: Card DiscussionBlizzard hate warrior for sure, but with such a waste of an epic make me feel not alone. Warrior and shaman are together in this train of indifference, and it seem that nothing can stop bliz from making pack fillers instead of usefull stuff.
