Control and Nzoth paladin are still seeing tons of tournament and online play with great success. Now that unicorn priest has been finally discovered, I think it just puts every class on par to be competitive and I believe calling Paladin the "dumpster class of the game" is a really strong statement to make... and one I don't really believe is correct.
If anything, there's greater balance in Hearthstone than there has ever been before.
Very interesting take! If I can make a recommendation: swap out Corrupted Seer for Baron Geddon? Bigger board presence and your 6-slot is already pretty crowded compared to the 7-slot.
Why would anyone EVER want reno removed?? Because he only works in decks that run--primarily-- one of's, he ensures cards that probably never see play actually get played. The deck diversity he creates can't be compared and I hope they move him to classic, even though I know there's no chance of that...
Very interesting idea, and I would definitely like to see priests able to heal past the 30-health limit. Because armor is a quality unique to warrior, however, (outside of mage's Ice Barrier) I would not like to see excess health translate to armor. I know this makes them vulnerable to alexstraza, but outside of that I think the extra health would go a long way. Maybe adding tech spells and minions to priest that are affected by how much additional health your hero has above 30?
Absolutely fantastic guide and well thought out. Your zoolock experience really shines with this guide and even an experienced zoolock player like myself learned a thing or two reading it. Well done!
...Is no one aware that this is a troll thread...? There are a MILLION other "crap on Purify" threads to choose from, but this isn't specifically that.
I really didn't make this thread to "troll" on the other threads that are talking about how bad Purify is. I made it because Purify is really, really bad.
Well yeah it's definitely to crap on Purify, but in a troll manner and not directly for people to keep rewording the same "GMDJVHDKJDN I HATE PURIFY AND THIS IS WHY ITS SO BAD HMFFKDHDMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" phrase over and over again :)

Have you ever been in that awkward situation where you Mind Control a minion with deathrattle--such as Tirion Fordring--but find it's such a bummer to have to deal with the messy weapon you get from it? No problem! Purify makes sure you pay the full 12 mana for the 6/6 body AND DRAW A CARD! THE VALUE GMNSHDKFNBGKGGHNEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great card! Does this open the possibility to dragon priest being viable again?
Again? My N'Zoth dragon priest deck is a consistent winner for me. I recognize that I am one of the few people playing it, but I do as well with it as any of the supposed tier 1 or 2 decks that I use.
That being said, I don't know what I'd take out to put this little cutie in.
N'Zoth Dragon Priest sounds damn interesting! When you have a moment, would you mind posting your deck list along with--if possible--a recommendation for what to subtract to add this card in? I do think that Dragon Priest will find this card to be a must-include once it hits.
The only way I could POSSIBLY see discard synergy working is through the following:
1. (the obvious one) Better discard synergy, and I mean a TON better. There's only 30 cards to a Hearthstone deck and every viable deck has been refined down to a science, so discarding cards typically means you risking discarding a win condition (I can't be the only one who loses a game by randomly discarding Reno, right?) or a card to help your survivability.
2. Creating cards that allowed you to CHOOSE the card you discard, rather than randomly discarding cards...
I think saying Blizzard hates rogues is a tough statement to make, but I do agree they haven't gotten a ton of love as of late. They did get Tomb Pillager and Shadow Strike recently, which have become a staple of miracle rogue.
If you want to talk about the real class Blizzard currently hates, it has to be Priest... It seems like Tempostorm's meta snapshot invented the tier 4 deck category just to stash every single priest archetype in it...
I'm all for diversity in the warlock deck list, but discard isn't going to work... unless something mammoth comes out that changes the discard list, I see all these discard cards and immediately see dust for my next legend...

Voidwalker would have something to say about that.
