I've never reached Legend before, but I managed to hit rank 1 in April. This season though, climbing is harder for some reason. Are there any changes to the deck I can make to increase my winrate?
Either go for a value deck with a big shudderwock or go the the fatigue plan with Archivist, if u never play shudder before archivist there is no need to support that card alot.
Lightning storm is a bad card unless there is alot of wide small minions boards in the meta.Storm chasers arent that good of a draw engine.
Rain of Toads isnt that strong because it ruins your next turn.
Thalnos needs more support.
Doom sayers arent good enoght atm without support cards.
Omega defenders, just 1 if u go the big shudderwock route.
Warmage isnt good enoght, unless in a deck where they can also work a reach.
Archivist only vs warrior.
Far sigt is fine, but there are better draw options.
As u can see your deck isnt optimal at all and u have very little defence. Spirit of the frog and thunderhead packed is nice i think. Control shaman isnt very strong atm, it has potential. Big shaman is very good
Thalnos and Lightning Storm were put in when Nomi Priest peaked, and Stormchaser draws Hagatha's Scheme so that match-up was pretty favored. Especially with Doomsayers after the Schemes. I could replace Thalnos with something like Mind Control Tech now I guess? Sunreaver Warmage is great for Control Rogue and Hunters which are my most common match-ups, similar to Omega Defenders (if Control decks are more common, I could run Hecklebot instead). I also think you should never cut Lightning Storm from any non-Aggro Shaman deck.
Looks solid, not sure what changes can be made but usually I only play with 1 copy of Storm Chaser because often times I draw all the spells before the second copy does anything and ideally you want to get the scheme in your mulligan for alot of matchups.
I did use a single copy of both Storm Chaser and Rain of Toads, but I really like the Tempo Sunreaver Warmage provides. The only downside it has is that Shudderwock targets randomly. I could drop that core but I would at least run a single copy of Storm Chaser as finding Scheme as soon as possible is a must.
Many people suggested Witch's Brew, but I found this card to be one of the weakest in the deck. Are you sure it's a staple?
Stupid question perhaps, but Unseen Saboteur doesn't beat Warrior all the time right? I just played a game against Mecha'Thun and hit The Boomship which summoned Malygos and I could not kill that. But even if I had Hex, can't the opponent just get rid of all his cards and play a 10/10 which either kills me or wins the game when it dies?
Also about the Khadgar, it might be controversial, but I'm actually liking Archmage Arugal over him. The former allows for stronger swing turns yes, but I don't run Power of Creation, so his uses are limited. Arugal is always a threat because the deck runs mostly minions, and getting additional value against Control decks is nice.
Also just saying, but if you managed to hit rank 1 with this exact build, reaching Legend should be viable without making any changes.
True, but maybe someone has another variant that did reach Legend.
Also thank everyone for your suggestion, I will look into them. But Harrison Jones is never better than Ooze in most match-ups. And is Hecklebot really better than Omega Defender when most of the decks I face are Rogue and Hunter? It could ruin Warrior's fatigue plan though.

In my opinion Doomsayers are an integral part of Control Mage. I never even considered replacing them. I can see your point of wanting more value generating cards so maybe cut 1?
I can't make myself craft Arugal, but I did have double Pinata so I put in in this version. It also has Zihi and Applebaums to counter this Hunter/ Combo metagame. I played about 10 games and won 7, so it feels kinda decent at least.

Well maybe the Elysiana Shudderwock package is a bit much, I'll try your version one out then, thanks =)

It's just unfortunate that it's a pretty good core. I like it, but I prefer a more "classic" list because that is the one I had more succes with =)

I made this deck today and it is pretty fun. I don't have the cards, but do you think that Dorian or Belrug are stronger than Omega Agents?

I'm missing some cards to craft your deck. Do you think a Dragon package is better overal?

Interesting choice, why not run both?
