Because I keep losing to Bomb Warrior and Midrange Hunter and those are very common on the ladder for me. Cyclone Mage is usually a win, but random spells and Antonidas are frustrating.
There are millions of players, most of them make their own decks because they only play casually for fun, or simply because they lack cards. Competitive players use the best decks possible because they enjoy winning. I don't mind netdecking, it makes playing easier for me as I know exactly what to play around.
Not an Overload deck but with 2x Zap, 2x Lighting Bolt, 2x Sludge Slurper, 1x Lightning Storm, 2x Feral Spirit. I dropped a Storm and an Earth Shock for the wolves and Oozes for Likkim since Rogues are gone. It helps protecting Thunderhead better.
On another note, about your previous post. Have you ever considered dropping Shudderwock instead of Elysianna?
With the recent nerfs, and reduced weapon hate, what is the consensus for Likkim? Additionally more Overload cards can be run which will also benefit Thunderhead. My most recent version was running Feral Spirits with moderate succes.
Alexstrasza is to deal 15 damage in Control match-ups, similar to where people run Elysianna. But against Aggro she also heals my face. I like versatile cards. I had a second Town Crier, but with only 3 Rush minions it was often a dead card, I like the 1-3 ratio. When you run a second one you should also run Darius Crowly, but I don't have that card. Loot Hoarder is draw, it was Slam at first, but I like the body vs Aggro, Acolyte of Pain is much slower. And I also think 1 Brawl is enough, as this isn't a pure Control deck.
After being stuck at rank 2 for the last couple of months using Control Shaman, I decided to give up on that deck and try out something that had me interested while watching the GM games last weekend, Bomb Warrior. This is the version I made, and won some games with in casual. Any suggestions before I try it in Ranked? I hope to finally get Legend so any kind of advice is appreciated =)
I like running Thunderhead combined with 8 overload cards; two copies of Zap, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Storm and Sludge Slurper. I also like Earth Shock because Magnetic is a thing. Menacing Nimbus is also a good early board contester, and value generator. I'd say that this early game should suffice to handle the Aggro decks. Running double BGH combined with Hagatha's Scheme , Hex and the early removal spells meansMage should also be fine to handle. They lack hard removal so Thunderhead can be difficult for them to remove. They generate a lot of random spells though, and RNG is hard to play around.
For draw I used Spirit of the Frog at first, but I changed it to Far Sight eventually due to it being more versatille. There are a lot of low cost spells in the deck, but there is also the potential to high roll. Thalnos also fitted for me, giving a spell power boost and draw. I like running Krag'Wa with the cheap spells as well, because it can act as a semi-draw. Getting multiple Witch's Brew back is usually how I win vs Bomb Warrior. With value generators like Sludge Sluper, Menacing Nimbus and Hagatha the Hero you have another way of semi-draw. You don't draw a whole lot with the deck so I don't know if Elysianna is needed anymore. Shudderwock is a massive resource generator in the late-game and you don't get to fatigue that often.

I used this one to climb to rank 5 this season. It usually takes me a week, but this deck had a very high winrate.

I also used the double combo version, but I lost many games. Maybe I'm playing it wrong, but I'll keep trying with this Undatakah version.

I don't have Prismatic Lens so I like this version =)
How does it perform?

Damn, that sucks. Good luck with the new website!

I have seen some faster versions with Explodinators for early board presence and extra source of damage. Is this a meme or actually viable?

I opened Barista Lynchen today. I think it fits this deck right? I took out an Omega Devastator for her.

Is it a viable deck to climb with? I have to craft Kangor's Endless Army and am tight on dust.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

Is Elysianna needed? I tried out Grommash Hellscream as well before finally settling on Alextrasza.
UPDATE:
- 1x Omega Devestator / +1x Barista Lynchen.

That makes sense I guess.
