that new event system is just a farce: create some kind of fancy looking interface and end up not giving players gold for quests they complete. I've already stoped putting money in this game a few months ago and started playing f2p after many years of buying every pre-orders and adventures since ungoro expansion, now i'm seriously considering quitting the game when i see stuff like this ...
when i was in need of an excuse to quit the game after 7 years ... i think blizzard just gave me one ! when i was just managing to have an almost full collection of cards ... that's sad
that might be true about WINRATE, but instead of destroying another archetype that some people like playing, why not nerf the 3 decks that destroy everything (and as a result that are not fun to play against), and then IF mage take over, do something about it ? This deck has so many counters that i don't see why it is even a problem in the first place ...
it has been the same for mages since Conjurer's Calling, each time a good card comes out, it gets destroyed in 2 weeks ... meanwhile you let archetypes like face hunters / pure paladins destroy the ladder for 2 to 3 expansions in a row, you don't think therre is a problem here ?
but this is the case, mages are not the problem here, the problem i have is hunters and paladins .... more than 1 out of 2 games is against these classes and is almost a garantied loss.
I play no monion mage mainly and don't have time to play tons of games everyday, i want to have fun playing the game and i am forced to automatically quit when facing handbuff paladins, face hunters and shadow priests ... the winrate is so low that i do'nt even bother against these archetypes
and yet people still complain about mages ..... is this real seriously ? the numbers are here ! just because people can not handle a defeat from time to time against a quest that could finally complete, blizzard have to nerf mages again and let the tier 1 decks go to even higher winrates ?
yeah sure, go nerf the 10th or 15th deck on the ladder, just because you could'nt handle a defeat or two against one deck ... this deck has tons of counters, go play one of them for a change.
afer mages finally got a fun archetype, you would like to nerf them and not touch the classes that have decks with over 60% winrate ? i ralmly need to understand the logic behind this ...
all this talk about nerfing mages, it's like people don't look at statistics at all ... go on HSreplay and you'll see them, mages are 4th and the spell quest deck is bottom of tier 2, and yet all i see is talk about nerfing the class, almost noone is talking about the real tier 1 decks that are ruling the ladder: handbuff paladin, face hunter and elemental shamans ... the first mage archetype is 6-7% behind them !
a lot of archetypes are counters to this new No Minion mage, so why even bother with it ? because you can't handle one defeat from time to time against one specific class ?
freeze mage never die ? hmmm ... no frostbolt, no blizzard, no nova and no iceblock .... i'd say frost mage if dead and burried and it would take serious effort to revive it :D
