Afternoon,Ahnrising yeah your 5-0 at the sart of the evening was really impressive. To end the night at 8-4 knowingly of lots of player errors still isn't bad you obviously get my deck with a record like that from the rip  "Which I commend you for" because piloting this is probably an 8/10 on the difficulty scale so most don't catch on quickly as you did.

"If you like my builds consider following me on here as it will help both of us out immensely. It will help you because you will be alerted whenver I make a new meta deck the very second I post it so you will be the among the first to be able to try it out & it will help me out by increasing my following and getting me known as one of the better known builders on this site other than me just saying I am."

Also feel free to join up in our TAW community because the fact you caught on early as you did to my deck is a good sign you can play and adapt really well which is a quality we respect in our community so join here if you'd like cause we could deffinitely use you in our ranks.

Afternoon, limonvil I try to promptly reply to everyone as best I can even if it is a re-reply conversation. Everyones curiosities are equal and I will try to accomodate everyone best I can just keep in mind I am only one person and I only get so much free time per day. Yeah providing us with feedback will be really exciting and a general help to me and everyone that sees this deck tech so I urge you to do just that and thank you for it in advance.

Don't forget to include the rank you are at what class and archetype you faced and any changes you made to the original list included with your record.  "Be sure to follow me here on Hearthpwn as well so it will alert you when I make something new for our meta".

Good evening, limonvil I exremely appreciate the compliment. I really do try ya know?  The answer to your question is "yes" I am actually currently working on the guide while responding to your post. It should be up soon and hopefully completed by this time tomorrow in order to race the front page because if I don't have it up by then I am sunk lol

But know that I am trying my best with what time I have to work with.  If you decide to give it a go please feel free to come back with knowledge for our community in your match results as that will best help everyone that is curious in playing it.  It will create like a forum for this build so everyone can rely off each others experiences to assist one another to improve the decks over all success rate.

"I wish you the best in this season 16 in your competitive play. Feel free to add me here on Hearthpwn as a follower so that you can be the first to know when I make a new deck for our meta and also one of the first to be able to try it out as it alerts you whenver I make a new deck at the top of your page. "This would mean a great deal to me and helps get my builds out there the more my following increases so please by all means do so if you like my builds"

Evening,Grat3fulH3ad by all means please do!  ( x2 if you are going to come back with some note-worthy feedback for our Hearthstone community). Yes Dr. Boom or even a Flamestrike in place of the Flame Leviathan is best. "Sorry to hear you like many others d/e it because you thought it would never be used in competitive play".  It is builders like me why you should never assume a card is bad by face value or because what a streamer or another profesisonal says. Take all of their opinions with a grain of salt. The real truth is this. If you can build well no card is bad in this entire game and never d/e anything.  That is the best professional advice I can give you or anyone else that asks if they should ever disenchant something. I am heavily against it.

Can't wait for your feedback don't forget to include what ranks you played at how many games and who your matches and what archetypes you faced.

"I can't thank you enough for all of your kind words as saying I am the main builder whom influences you aside from your own".  "That is just awesome in of itself"  "Bet of luck to you this season 16 & glad to have you back again as a player after such a long absence".

Good evening,Neo_MTL I appreciate that very much. Such enthusiasm too?! "You are so kind", "really!".  Yeah this deck has tons of really good match ups. In-fact the ones that give everyone real problems are this specific decks easiest victories. So basically if you find yourself running into nothing but Mill Rogue or Grim Patron Warrior & the like you can easily just run this as your "Revenge deck" to get back at them.  Additionally the fact that all of the main decks that give people problems but are easy for this deck to defeat means that the closer to legend rank you are the better that this deck will perform for you so it can easily be your "go to" deck when going from rank 5 to Legend because that's where the meta usually slows down.

Also thank you kindly for giving both me and our players/readers some real feed back knowledge. Since the deck is so new the players don't know what yet to make of this deck and you are helping them to see the light and at the same time giving my build a time to shine in our meta so again I really appreciate this.

"I wish you nothing but the best of luck this season with not only my deck ,but also any other build you may try & If you want to follow me here on Hearthpwn so you can always see and be the first to play my new meta decks before the rest of the population I would appreciate that even more so exponentially".

Evening,SuaveBet you will undoubtedly get your guide you have all been waiting for I am actually currently working on it right now while answering questions for it as well. Don't worry it will include all of the necessary information to spoon-feed anyone at any skill level to be able to properly pilot it.

Like I have said in the past the skill cap is high but I pride myself in making complicated decks with little to no room for player errors because I come from a strong Magic the Gathering background of over 20+ years in tcg's. Also I am confident that I can teach anyone how to pilot it properly because I am afterall a professional Hearthstone coach and I do not copy other peoples decks I am the engineer myself so I know best how to go about explaining whatever I need to with my creation to give you all the best results possible as long as you dedicate yourself put your faith in me and take the time to actually learn them.

"Have a wonderful evening,SuaveBet guide should be completed very shortly".

Evening once again,Droderon you are welcome for the detailed answer. I feel I owe it out to anyone who asks a question because I am falling behind on getting the guide out with real life & all. "Life is hard" .

The instant effect isn't worth blowing up your minions while you are ahead. It's just not worth it.  Plus in all Warrior matches you are making yourself more susceptible to a loss which use to be an easy victory because of you activating their Executes for them.  In addition Baron Geddon at being only 5 life himself doesn't stay on the board past 1 turn which is again just not worth it.

It is best to replace the Flame Leviathan If you don't own it because you d/e'd it cause you initially thought it was a bad card with with either 1 of these 2 options and only these options in your 7 drop slot.

     1) Flamestrike - Because it strongly compliments all fo the other hardcore removal in your deck and does the same  job as the Flame Leviathan does just futher a long in the curve.

     2) Dr. Boom - Because of the ability to snowball with a powerful 7 into 8 mana curve & also providing you with that one-man army effect incase you was the one that was just board cleared assuming they got through your Counterspellx2 defenses. So he is like an insurance policiy if you will in that sense.

PS: I would technically ever want to take out the 2nd Counterspell ever either in our list personally for the same reason you have provided in that it just saves your ass way too often and it completely swings thegame in 1 turn if it was a 5+ mana cost spell that got Counterspell'd. More often than not if this is to occur than this is where the opponent usually auto-concedes following this effect.

"Again thank you kindly for being one of the first to try out my design & especially for your feedback and re-responses. Be sure to follow me here on Hearthpwn as a friend so you can be the first to try out all of my new meta deck designs in the future".

Good evening,riz237 first off I just want to say "thank you" for giving my deck a chance and then even being so kind enough to come back with feed back for those whom are on the fence about trying it out for themselves as you are being my testimonial for me that my deck is indeed a success on ladder competitive play so that they too will get curious and want to try themselves thus increasing the popularity of the build.

Yeah the Inner Fire Priest deck is real gimmicky and few & far between.  also if you are ever able to fish out both of your Counterspells in the match up you can easily beat them as well and that is usually done via Mad Scientist

Yes I know the deck is difficult to pilot properly at first and you will probably start off losing with it a couple times before acquiring your first victory ,but that's just what kind of architect I am. I live for the high skill capped decks that leave room for little error in your plays because anything else is boring to me.  So I apologize for your losses but not for my building preferences. "haha"

I am glad you was finally able to grasp how to play the deck and become more familiarized with its play mechanics after the third game.  Yeah Ethereal Arcanists can become quite the problem if the opponent has little to no board and the secret you have up is your Counterspell.

The reason you just described about not having to hold onto your Grim Patron unlike the Warrior class has to is the exact reason that you are an effective antidote against the Warrior's counterpart deck everyone is so scared of. You are actually favored in that match up with this deck and it is even one of your easiest of all matches provided you know how to go about it.

Lastly yes Ragnaros the Firelord is our decks perfect finisher and your mulligans were for the most part correct dependent upon our match-ups,what class and what archetype of said class we are facing with knowledge gathered by on how many cards the opponent mulligans for at the beginning of the match.

Thank you again for using my build"

Morning,Droderon in playtesting yes we found Baron Geddon to also work in this slot for the mana curve provided. & even provides better match ups against Paladin & Shaman & mid range decks that have fizzled out. but a few distinct problems occur when choosing him over Flame Leviathan or Dr. Boom & that is this.

    1) Yes it improves the match ups against classes that make minions for the their hero power (i.e. Paladin & Shaman), but the 2 archetypes you see in todays meta are the aggro mech Shaman & the more aggressive Paladin as well.  So the problem there-in is the fact that if you have made it into the late game to be able to cast your Baron Geddon then typically you are more than likely in control of the game at this point anyhow and are going to win anyway. So my suggestion is that if the meta slow down then sure it would have a home in this spot as a good choice for the card.

    2) It doesn't represent the utility value that the Flame Leviathan has in this deck. You see Flame Leviathan's spot in this deck makes the 2 damage passive ability it has that everyone hates into a remarkable value in this specific build. I found that if you take a bad representation of a card and somehow turn it into a postive effect in your specific design then you can make it one of the mvp's in your deck if you support its flaw with your build.

If you have noticed there is tons of draw power in this build. This allows you extra chances to trigger your Flame Leviathan's effect when you need it most as a possible out for you. Additionally in combination with your Explosive Sheep can be equal to the value of an earlier makeshift Flamestrike which the opponent is never expecting. Plus if you are playing the deck correctly then you are never worried about the timing of when it goes off.  So eventhough in comparison both Flame Leviathan & Baron Geddon do the same thing that part holds true, but you need the utility of making the effect happen earlier on than on turn 7 for it to be good and useful for you in most occasions. Late game you don't much care for his effect to happen (especially repeatedly) because then it is actually hurting us and giving the opponent easier clears against us.

Next if you compare Baron Geddon to Dr. Boom for the 7 slot you just can't as Dr. Boom gives better value in all out comes even if both minons are must deal with  minions.

Dr. Boom brings to the deck what is called a "Late game snowball effect" which means simply that if you play your Dr. Boom on curve turn 7 and then are also lucky enough to be holding your Ragnaros the Firelord and play that for your turn 8 and they have little to no board & few cards left in their hand to deal with such threats maybe not both but only 1 of them than that means in 90% of the outcomes you have won.  Baron Geddon doesn't have this effect because he is easily dealt with at being only at 5 life himself?

The Last reason Dr. Boom is better than Baron Geddon in this spot is the fact that after a an opponent clears you would you be thinking to yourself "Man I'd really like to pull my Baron Geddon to be able to come back from this?" of course you wouldn't because  in situations like this you are already behind the 8 ball you do not wish to take any further damage and in any Mage games we all know the majority of the games we win we have low life totals so a repeated 2 damage would be the last bit of reach the opponent would need to seal the deal on us. Also going back what I said before when I said "Man I'd really like to pull my  ( *blank *)  card to be able to come back from this deficit?  Dr. Boom is "That card" that will mount you a comeback. He is a 1-man-army,

Finally the last reason you can't be affording to put a Baron Geddon into this build as an optimal choice over Flame Leviathan or Dr. Boom is this.  Previously the fact in how I mentioned that in 80% of all games played by Mage end game life result is low.  (It's just a fact and something we have grown accustomed to accept with the class)?  So with that being said if you wanted to include him in this build you'd have to change it up to include even more survivability by either adding in yet another Antique Healbot or an Ice Barrier.

    - 1 Counterspell + 1 Ice Barrier

                                 or/and

    - 1 Azure Drake  + 1 Antique Healbot

These are the best changes possible as not to upset the flow of the deck or mana curve, but I don't recommend the change especially just to be able to play 1 card as you become a lot more susceptible to spell decks for losing your second Counterspell & lose some of your draw power + utility trading & reach with the loss of your Azure Drake all to be able to play a card in which you have better options for in the 7 slot anyways? Go ahead and make this change though if you don't own the Flame Leviathan or Dr. Boom if it will allow you to try out my deck. "That surely is understandable."

"I hope I have answered your question to the fullest extent.  Just get the cards when you can for anyone that doesn't own them and good luck".

Hello, darkgamerstudio do you have Dr. Boom?  He is also in the 7 card curve slot and is  good here too as an assistance finisher and is probably the next best choice for this specific build because a turn 7 Dr. Boom into turn 8 Ragnaros the Firelord is an extremely strong late game for any deck to deal with.

"Thank you for trying my deck out & be sure to leave results from your games in the comments for feed back so the other players can see them".

Galidrael, you honestly couldn't be further from the truth. While I am a "professional coach" meaning I require money for my level of training as I can literally teach players 20 years of tcg knowledge in just a short time I referred,Kaoziun that needs help to the TAW oranization where not only myself, but countless other professional Hearthstone players & coaches gather to train our members for free. You see that's how we give back by teaching not just a few people for free here and there ,but an entire community and TAW makes that possible. If what you say was true then don't you think I'd have referenced him to my personal training rather than an entire community aimed at helping players become more skilled at this game and give him a family to belong to whom all players there are trying accomplish similar goals?

Join TAW here to anyone reading this article is having trouble with my deck is NOT a hater that judges my person rather than my content I provide you and I will personally train you on how to pilot it properly, substitutions, mulligan guide, best and worst case scenarios and all of its combos and inner-workings. for FREE

Morning,Kaoziun I like your approach you came at me with & your MTG background evenmoreso.  It's people like you that I write my articles for amongst all of the haters. "Always nice to hear from the MTG community much respect" The fact that you genuinely need help with my build and the fact you actually d/e your cards to make my deck I will do you one better than just giving you advice on here.

Pretty sure you would be sincerely greatful for my help rather than one of these haters that judge me as a person rather than the content I provide them and -1 all my stuff before I even have a guide released to be judged on so for that reason I will make you an offer that is better than just answering you on this guide. Plus as I said before the general community is not worthy of a guide for the way they have treated me (at least until I get some real apologies and soon from all of the haters) and the deck itself is one of the hardest to pilot you can even play present day so a guide is in-fact necessary to legend with this most certainly.

So to share the necessary information to be successful with it wthout my telling the general community just become a member of our TAW community by applying to the application here ------> https://taw.net/themes/taw/user/application.aspx

The deal is this. Sign up for this and I will personally coach you with this build 1 on 1 because I am a head coach for their Hearthstone society.  That way you won't feel like you have wasted your dust on your crafting of Iron Juggernaut. I very seriously respect the MTG community as that is my background as well so allow you to waste dust because you are failing with my deck I will not.

Thanks for the deck spotlight video ,Khristophesaurus.  It's always nice to know you got my back at least with your Youtube casts. (Which I thank you for).  I actually seen you make a player error in the vid  at 13:50 haha :P  (No attack with the Coldlight Oracle before you Youthful Brewmaster'd it back to your hand. I mean obvisouly it didn't matter that game because he couldn't deal with the extended minions on your board since you had 2 instead of just 1, but usually in the late game they can even deal with 2 at one time so it matters because of the burst damage a Mage class possesses. (In addition the error was minimal because you chose to play the Alexstrasza on the opponent instead of yourself. In addition you was pretty safe  to make that play after the Fireball to your Sludge Belcher at 13:20 in your vid,but if you hadn't it was -2 damage :P.

Your only other player error you called out yourself for not not attaking into the Piloted Shredder in fear of the Doomsayer while you are ahead in board so you still would have a chance to clear it before it wiped your lead away. (Proud of you for that one) & catching that). :D

I still don't see your name in our onboarding at the TAW Hearthstone community?  Think harder on it as it would increase your networking 10 fold since you are always streaming this game in addition to opportunity to be coached for free as well (eventhough you minimally require it)  :)

Due to everyones -1 to my article you all effortlessly and childishly dish out to my efforts shown for the community I am going to show you the real effect now in what they have on our builders and our meta. This deck was very much needed to help draw attention away from the grim patron warrior deck which has made everyone catagorize you as either a control warrior or patron and thats it. This deck was to have changed that BUT since you have all decided to be little ass holes much like the league community is and represent yourself as such you no longer all get a guide because I think this community is not worthy of such and you all need a valuable lesson taught to you more than you need a deck to shake the meta up so I am martyring my guide.

Eventhough it is complete NONE of you get to see it. Figure it out for yourself. Next time you all get happy with your -1  and extreme immaturity think of the real impact it causes on the builders themselves.
