The point I was driving at is this, if it's meant to be for spell hunter, needs more tech cards than are currently available as they conflict with the already existing threats spell hunter runs.
Possible attempt at OTK hunter decks when combined with Malygos and Arcane Shot?
Not too useful for current spell hunter, might lead to a new type of spell hunter, possibly. Need to see the rest of the tools hunter are getting before I feel firm about this card's practical uses.
Very interesting card design. Outside of a lot of control-oriented spells being released after the rotation, this is clearly designed to be used with the spellstones and To My Side! in mind.
Outside of practice and playing the game, it helps to watch streamers play Hearthstone. Try to predict plays and take notice of patterns here and there. It helps a lot to get the perspective of somebody who is not you and their thought process when playing.
As far as decks that are easy to learn, warlock has a pretty good hero power and is in a good position in both Standard and Wild. Look into something like budget zoo decks and the sort.
You may want to consider axing Call of the Wild. With Zul'jin, the spellstones and To My Side! board space starts to become an issue worth considering.
Otherwise interesting enough spin on spell hunter.
Hunter struggles enough with consistency due to limited to outright bad (at times) card draw. Even now, when hunter is good in standard. So, how to nerf hunter? Stay the course, keep the performance and over performance of hunter entirely a coin flip.
Warlock is loosing a lot of aggro, tech cards and self-heals, too. Also losing a fair amount of defensive plays as well, so they are being hit fairly hard with the rotation.
Close second is either paladin or hunter for various reasons.
Aside from new secrets, I'd like to see a tech card that intentionally triggers your own secrets. Think that would shake things up a bit, enable a more aggressive way to use secrets.

I play Wild so to me they are going nowhere.

Hunter is a bad fucking joke in Wild.
That is all.

I think it might be meant to be used in conjuncture with other spell damage modifiers like Malygos and Azure Drake (where applicable).
You are right though, by it's lonesome it is nothing to write home about.

Only real use for this I can see is gimmick decks like Malygos with the bow and Arcane Shot and Kill Command. This is a minion so it hurts both Rhok'delar and To My Side!
An interesting design though, just having a hard time working out what it’s niche could be outside OTK with arcane shot.

After clawing my way to 5, I can safely say people dislike Wild because Team 5 refuses to do anything about cards that consistently overperform.

There are more archetypes than just spell or midrange hunter in Wild. Ergo no, he is not an auto-include.

Potentially good in Wild, kind of limited use in standard where there are far fewer robut cards to work with.
e: upon further consideration, this card will be hot salted trash unless or until more mech deathrattles are added. Hard pass.

My Vaporize would like to tell your kitty cat about the good word of #vapenation.
