As a couple have stated.  Matchups seem lopsided, so it feels like you need to high roll when you cue up for a match.  That and many matchups seem to be determined by draw order and scoring the best starting hand.  Just think how much a matchup swings when geist is drawn on curve.  Or when a druid gets wild growth into nourish.  Don't forget the ever popular prince keleseth on curve.  Many matchups feel similar to the freeze mage vs control warrior match up.  Deck variety is great but knowing you are going to lose no matter what you do after turn 3 or 4, kinda sucks.

6-0 with Elemental Shaman.  If memory serves me... opponents were Control Priest, Murloc Paladin, Even Shaman, Hunter, Recruit Warrior, Spiteful Druid,   Could just be a fluke or people expecting Even of Shudderwock but I'm having fun.

My ideas are similar to some already stated.  Note: I don't hate Paladin.  I love Paladin atm. However, I understand it won't be long until I'm sick of playing the class and against it.

    1) Call to Arms: Recruit 2 minion that cost 2 or less from your deck.

    2) Divine Favor: Mana cost increased to 5 mana

    3) Sunkeeper Tarim: Stats changed to 3/6

    4) Spiteful Summoner: Mana cost increased to 8 mana.  Stats changed to 4/6.

    5) Psychic Scream: Mana cost increased to 8

    6) Rogue Quest should just be rotated early.  Blizzard needs to break one of their rules here. It's simply too polarizing if it's in any way viable.

    7) Gluttonus Cube:  Deathrattle summon one copy of the destroyed minion.

    8) Bloodreaver Gul'dan:  Battlecry summon only 1 copy of each demon type summoned this game.

Using myself as an example, I hit legend and my initial rank was about 1200.  I then tried a homebrew deck, went on a horrid losing streak, and am now around 5000.  When I win games, I am barely increasing - although I think around 150-200 points per game, which is something.

I don't really care at this point with my legend rank so I'm not too down about it. But I do feel awkward if I cue into a rank 2 or 1 player.

This was pretty much myself as well.  I experimented with new stuff a bit more I suppose so I dropped from 1200 to around to the 7K range.  My experience is even worse.  I only gain 20 to 50 points for a win but lose twice that from a loss.  However, it's more than just losses but the amount of people hitting legend.  I actually went to bed for 8 hours and loss in the range of 1000 points overnight.
The reality is hitting legend doesn't seem to mean anything anymore.  It's about your legend rank NUMBER.  When I hit legend for the first time, it was before even rank floors and it actually felt like a challenge.  I had to play religiously and make sure I was in the right mindset before each session. That same month, I dropped from Rank 4  with 5 stars to Rank 11. I had to recover all that lost time and hit the goal on the 20th day.  This month I started at Rank 6 with 3 stars and played casually with the exception of a couple days before the expansion to get legend on the 11th.  The amount of effort by comparison was minimal.

i've hit legend yesterday at around 10k. everytime i win a game i gain about 800 ranks and everytime i loose, i drop about 1k. but i cant tell how this would go on in higher ranks because my biggest winstreak was only 4 in a row. right now i'm around 9k, +-1k depending on whether i've won or lost my last match

Could just be the times we play.  I rarely get matched against someone close to my rank.

should be less than 0.5% according to blizzard, but that was stated a long time ago back when legend was not as populated as it seems to be now. probably closer to 1% now, but only team 5 knows the exact numbers i guess

When I first hit legend the percentage displayed was .25%.

I will play Cubelock so others can test against me how viable their new decks are. After I hit legend I will try all mage, warrior and shaman decks I can think of.

What a noble thing to do sir

It is noble.  This divine soul is willing to be the villain so new decks can be tested only to see his deck warsong commandered a month later.  Stories and songs will be written about him.

One way or another Shudderwock will see play.  Whether it's an otk deck, control, or midrange evolve, i do not know.

Aggro decks will see a huge surge in play then die down in a couple weeks. Aggro hunter, zoolock, and aggro paladin.

Control warrior, Spiteful Priest, and Cubelock will be strong.  Aggro paladin and zoo will still be around.

Blazecaller and fire elemental are risky battlecries for Shudderwock because they might hit your face or your board.

This is a good point and something to keep in mind.  You could Murmuring your kalimos and set the battlecry that suits a comeback turn.  Here's something i threw together.  Not a complete concept but some concepts to maybe consider.

Let me pose this question.  Wouldn't shudderwock work well with the deathknight instead of Hagatha?  With murmuring, you could get 4 levels of upgrade when you play shudderwock. Plus... if you filled the board with kalimos and the battlecries go off in the right order...

Also, maybe run unstable evolution?  Possibly get 3 draws with a second minion on board when you play bogshaper.

Control decks need reliable draw in order to have their answers readily available.    Looking at this deck, it plays more like a midrange with some late game heavy hitters.  The only draw, i see, is mana tide and bogshaper.  That's not enough.

prince k is not that versatile since you have to draw it atleats in your first 15 crads to give you vaule for the price you are paying of excluding 2 drops , if you dont draw it in the first 20 crads it is basically a dead drop , murmurring elemental is a godd drop almost all the time and it is an elemental that double your battlecries synergizing with shudderwock and the elemental decks

That's always been the case with Keleseth decks and cards like lackey if you drew all your demons.  The point is the tremendous upside if drawn early.  I think the main problem is theres too much focus on trying to have the best late game.  A faster version might be better because it's the faster decks that can cheese out wins at an expansion start.  Hoping to have time to murmuring elly a battlecry or spirit echo a board might be asking too much.

Murmering elemental are pretty much greed cards since you have to combo them on the turn they are played.  How is Prince K the greedier card?
