Synergies well with Kazakus.  Reno mage is looking pretty good with these new additions.

Can see this getting some play in rogue at the very least.  Don't believe this will see play in druid or shaman with what we know at this time.

Hyy is it still worth it to recraft  Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and 2Call of the Wild ? I really like playing Hunter so im probably recraft Call of the Wild anyway. And I would probably Craft Malygos insted of Yogg.

A good argument in favor of Malygos is he's a classic card so as long as standard rotation keeps classic, you can always use him in standard.  Plus, after the nerf to Yogg, I have seen Malygos in more matches and used to greater effect than Yogg in Rogue, Druid, and Mage.

Had time for a few games today.  Shout out to the 2 druids that played yogg, providing me with some comedy relief.  1st cast doom to fatigue themselves.  2nd made me literally lol when the FIRST spell was a fireball to Yogg's face.  Good times.

If I'm running into strictly warriors and priests, I personally like midrange hunter.  I don't know enough about the new secret variant.

Of course I prefer midrange shaman because it is so versatile.  The only deck I was ever truly afraid of facing is worgen otk and those are far and few in between.  I don't experience the same problems expressed here with tempo mage.  That seems like a pretty even matchup.  In fact, that is the appeal of mid-range shaman  It's not countered by anything.  It doesn't have any heavily favored matchups but can tilt it's matchups more in your favor with small tech changes.  I believe with competent and consistent play, this is the best all-round deck for ladder, no matter what the meta is doing.  You might have to tech, which I did, but I don't think there was really a matchup where I felt the odds were truly against me.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to believe in yourself and the deck you are playing.  Equally important is the acceptance that luck swings both ways and to not let bad rolls or draws take you off your game.  Stay focused on not shooting yourself in the foot.

im stuck at rank 7 for a week now,i tried midrange shaman/hunter, tempo mage,CW,resurrect priest and token druid

cant seem to win more than 2 games in a row, any tips all of my decks are netdecked with no changes

Pick the deck, you are most comfortable playing, and try to stick with it.  If you are facing many weapon users, consider weapon tech.  If board centered decks are an issue, consider board clears.  Maybe your deck needs just a bit more value or burst.  These minor changes can add an important element of surprise.  In my case I surprised quite a few warriors, rogues, and druids that did not clear my totems with bloodlust. Something to consider.

I hit legend earlier in the week, using midrange shaman with Harrison Jones and Bloodlust for the final push to legend.  Actually, made a couple friends of control warriors after some epic matches.

Second to last game before legend was a match where I harrisoned a doom hammer off an aggro shaman.  Another big fist pump moment was flamewreath played on turn 4 with a hex in my hand. The clinching game was a tough nail biter with a tempo mage.  I was around 12ish health for 3 turns, before finally getting a concession from the mage.

Here's my proof and deck list.

If hitting legend wasn't enough to celebrate, my son was born a couple days later.  So I doubt I'll be forgetting this week.

posted a message on BatStone #1 Update - Competitors Finalized!

With the player bans, this seems much more interesting.  Sad to see Fandral go.  Banning him is waaaaaay overkill, if banning innervate already wasn't enough to wipe druids out.

posted a message on BatStone #1: Hearthstone Differently - A Standard Tournament with Card Bans

So they are banning the card that is keeping hunter relevant.  War axe ban is stupid as well.  Tuskar totemic, Barnes, and Yogg make perfect sense given the uproar over rng harming the competitive scene.  Those 3, I can understand but the other 2 are just salty players.  Believe me, I have been on the receiving end of those cards as well.

I have a better idea for 2 card bans.

    Knife juggler and flame juggler.
