White eyes being transformed isn't your biggest problem.  Aggro shaman is the most popular shaman build, mages are very rare and rarely have poly, and priests have 1 or no entombs from my experience.

The biggest issue is having the correct answers to your opponents' plays, turns 1 through 4, even5.  If you don't draw that hex, etc. You can get run over quickly.  This includes jade druid, because if you don't have a lead on board, it's close to an auto loss.  In other words, it's more of a consistency issue than anything else.

Coming back to this deck, defintely struggled with it, but I think my play wasn't up to par this morning. The other aspect is Miracle Rogues and Jade Druids seem popular today, giving this deck a bit of trouble.   Midrange Shaman, especially when it gets a good start can run over this deck.  It does it's job against aggro, but Aggro Shaman can be a problem.  Still... the deck gives me hope for the Shaman class after the 2017 rotation. as a previous poster.

Took out my aggression on the ladder and brought out my Renolock.  Apologies to the Dragon Priest, whose soul was crushed twice in a row.  Jaraxxus was pleased.

I felt the same way about Fandal Staghelm when he didn't see much play at first.

Having 2 oozes goes a very long way against all aggro/pirate decks.  I was thinking the same thing as you until I experience firsthand how the deck works in practice.

Shaman can be a tough matchup.  Try holding off on White eyes and baiting hex with your golems.  If you can draw him early, a turn when your opponent is overloaded is a good opportunity as well.

I've been hunting down any unique decks that seemed ladder worthy or gave me a reason to craft cards. So when I saw this, I jumped at the opportunity.  It was similar to a deck, I made earlier on after the expansion.  My deck did well against the pirate onslaught but had a miserable win rate against Reno decks and Dragon Priests.  I must say Krip's deck, excels where mine failed and even does a little better against aggro.  If you don't see how this deck beats control, then I suggest trying it out before making assumptions.  It's actually surprisingly good against control.

11-3 with this deck (2-1 in casual), almost climbing back to rank 5.   Don't worry, I'll tank it again when I try something else.

Got Paladin for both games, I played, and beat my priest and druid opponent.  Priest was tough, but some good control plays brought me back from near death, and I had Anduin staring at a board of 6 x 6/6s and an Ashbringer.  Pretty sure the druid was just a bad player.

I don't think it being a polarizing decision, will prevent Blizzard from making that decision.  Personally, I prefer cards with weaker effects for highlander decks than relying on drawing 1 out of 30 cards to win a majority of match ups.

There is absolutely no reason for him to stick around because of the kabal legendaries forcing players to play highlander decks already.

The Kabal legendaries will not be enough to keep highlander decks relevant.  Kazakus will also lose much of his power with Brann cycling out. The class highlander cards are not enough.  One is good enoigh to see play, 1 rarely in the rare Reno mage, and the 3Rd doesnt see hardly any play at all in Renolock.  They will need new tools constantly introduced which I am for, preferably at the start of new rotation.
Why should highlander decks stay relevant, to start with ?
My only issue with Reno is that long games in the ladder are a problem. That's why everybody is playing aggro when laddering, because the win rate isn't important, stars/hour is, and you can cram 15 games in an hour with a pirate deck.
The other thing is, playing reno decks relies heavily on draw RNG and rewards bad deck building. I do love playing them in casual for my dailies, but if I wanted to do the legend grind I'd rather cut my throat than have to face all those stall decks.
Because not everyone cares about grinding speed? Btw  Is aggro so weak? Are pirates so horribly oppressed by Reno decks?  Those nasty Reno decks are too much?  Sorry but when I hit rank five within 3 days of the expansion release, playing a broken aggro deck on my phone, one handed, while my infant son spitting up Similac down my neck and shoulder, your complaints about long games and struggles of aggro players seem like something out of the twilight zone.

I certainly would not mind it.  It's a unique archtype, that seperates itself from the current gutter trash of either pirate aggro or Jade Druid.  I say this as a big aggro and shaman player.  I'm not going to forward bs arguments to prop up my preferred ranking builds.   I also believe Reno Priest and Reno Warlock are the most fun decks to build, tweak, and play after taking the new Kazakus builds for a test drive this past week.

Opened 91 packs and got 2 Kazakus and Don Han'Cho. While I was annoyed at the number and 2 dupes, I was glad I at least opened a Legendary, I wanted.  Got the murloc ninja from quest packs later.

Then I got 31 packs for the pack issue, and I could not be happier.   This time I got a Golden Kazakus, Aya, and Wrathion as well as the remaining epics, I wanted.

Won't stop me from trying it out ^^  I've been trying out Wild recently too.  If I miss the Reno archetype after next year's rotation, I'll just build a Reno mage/warlock for wild.
