Probably a must craft. Combos so easily with the majority of deathrattle. Being a 4 cost minion is what makes this a must craft. You can combo this with Cairne and Aya in standard. There's so much utility in this card, esp for deathrattle priest and the questing hunter decks. Agree with the poster above, jade rogue got a nice boost with this card as well.
I posted this in the wrong spot so I'll repeat. I can see players trying to mix jades and elementals in shaman if there's an elemental that has card draw or spell power. Atm, I see mages more likely adopting the elemental archetype because the class does not have a dominant archetype that escapes rotation without heavy losses of important cards.
Jade Shaman may not be too restrictive to include an elemental package into its build. If there's an elemental with spell power or card draw, I can see players at least trying to get jades to work with them. The most likely elemental build might be mage as it doesn't have a dominant archetype escaping rotation without substantial losses of important cards.
I would be hesitant to laugh off anything to do with shamans and murlocs. If anything, this should give you more to pause about than any of the elemental stuff. That's based off what has been revealed so far.
I wonder how relevant the elemental tag will be. Otherwise, I see this card being played in all the Amara decks. Priests seemed to be be getting a very fair shake so far this expansion.
I'm glad to see all of them go. It's time for something new. As stated by another player, I wish certain decks were losing more, but often times you don't get everything you want.
do you see any imbalanced murlocs that give you random opponent class cards like swashburglar or a murloc that jumps out of your deck and makes your remaining deck 1 less card and on top of it has charge like patches or do you see a murloc that grants you a weapon that you can ping your opponent for 3 turns????? you should think before commenting you know? if there were imbalanced - a must hav emurlocs like the pirates I mentioned then yes you would see people playing a goddamn hungry crab!
I just laugh at comments like "why the hell would someone eat his own pirate??" roflmao!!! hmmm maybe because it has a stupid 1hp body and is not a threat against enemy when you have tons of aoe spells or dies easily to bunch of hero powers but it makes a huge difference when you drop on board a single body 3/4 stats minion? I guess your logic is like this: to you 4 pieces of 1- mana 1/1 minions has the same power with a minion that is 4 mana 4/4. Please go increase your IQ cuz you sound really stupid at the moment thanks.
What if your only available pirate is a 3/3, 5//3, 3/4, or even 5/4? Stop bringing up the ONLY scenario when destroying your own pirate is a good idea.
Questions to all the deck builders out there, saying they will run this in their pirate warrior decks.
What cards are you going to be passing on to put these in your deck?
What happens when you draw this and your only pirates on board are your stronger pirates? If this works like BGH, you must destroy a pirate if one is on board at all.
My highest rank was Legend rank 486. From that point on my monthly goal is hitting rank 5 in either wild, standard, or both. I hit rank 5 within the first week so I have been spending the rest of seasons trying out new decks and becoming comfortable with all classes (6 golden portraits). I might hit rank 3, closing in on rank 2, but I just don't have the desire to push all the way to legend these days.
I am too Casual, I earn about 1700 gold a month on average. I Pre Purchased for $50 and will spend another $50 for 40 more packs. The rest I need i will try and get from gold earned each month till next expansion when i will rinse and repeat it seems. Still fun game tough and look forward to more changes
90 packs should be more than enough to get all the Commons and rares, you need. Epics can be more of an annoyance. If this expansion is like most previous expansions, there will be only 1 or 2 must have legendaries. Gadgetzan had more than its share of good legendaries so this might be trend going toward 3+ being must haves.
I would open your initial packs, spend your dust wisely then wait a month before buying more packs to gauge if you truly need more cards from the set. If you do, mass pack openings are more fun than single pack. If not, you are well on your way to saving some real money for when the next expansion hits.
I just got my 6th golden hero (priest), playing since the last week for 2014. The way I'll probably deal with your situation will be the same way I do now. My last 3 classes are too far away from 500 for me to consider pushing for them as they are not my favorite classes. They will probably get around 400 naturally then I'll make that push. Until then I'll play whatever I want, hit my minimum rank 5 playing both wild and standard. Maybe try out arena once in awhile.

When you REALLY need that Shadow word death.

At the people mentioning Black Knight... when was the last time you saw that card played? If it was played against me, I would joke "New Card!"
It's the same reaction I would have with Emperor Cobra.
