posted a message on How many packs are you going to open when KOTFT starts?

About 100 packs.  I'll make up my mind tomorrow if a preorder is necessary.  I have about 14,600 dust to craft what I want after packs and the free deathknight.

My apologies for not being clear.  I was referring to the possible niche druid that may try out medihv, utilizing moonglade portal and the new 10 mana spell for crazy value plays.

posted a message on What do you think of the expansion so far?

To be honest I'm more excited about the epics than the legendaries.  The only legendaries, I like atm are the deathknights.  Still... I'm most uncertain about Frost Lich Jaina as much as I want her to work.  All Dks need new decks designed around them.

Luckily, I don't have to consider preordering with about 10k gold and 14,600 dust.

Wouldn't Harrison Jones be a good tech card? Sure it's not as effective as the ooze against aggro but if you're looking for draw, he does synergize with what you're trying to do when the tech is rewarded.  He's especially nice if medihv mages and possibly druids running around.

posted a message on New Priest Card Revealed: Acolyte of Agony

For a class that already has healing, this could have been a 3/4, and I'm usually weary of making priest strong.  Disclaimer: I have golden priest so I do play the class.

I really want this to work.  I see this working best in a midrange elemental deck that is capable of having elementals on board when this card is played.  It might take one more mage specific elemental to make it happen.

posted a message on What is your most disliked current card to play against?

I've never had a particular hatred for any specific card.  If anything, it's deck archetypes or smug players.  I disliked playing against the original patron warrior and freeze mage with ice lance.  It's not that I thought it was unfair or my opponents were getting a win handed to them.  The decks required a skilled player to just do okay.  They were just frustrating to play against and in the case of patron, you were punished for trying to win.  The defenders of the deck were often telling complainers, "lol just don't play minions, scrub."  So either die over the course of a few turns or get otk.

posted a message on New Hunter Hero Card Reveal - Deathstalker, Rexxar

Because of the aoe and the possibilities with the hero power, I'm not ready to judge this card.  How many beasts have charge and stealth.  Combining stonetusk boar and vicious fledgling would be pretty nasty.

posted a message on New Priest Card Reveal - Spirit Lash

Makes blood mage thalnos a real option for priests and gives them another way to contest the board early.  Could clear the way for a more tempo oriented priest. I think they need more spell power sources to make this anything close to maelstrom portal so it's not THAT crazy good.

Great card to get from Lyra the sunshard.

This is similar to the druid quest in one very bad way. What kills this card for me is the fact it does not buff the minions in your hand.

Ditching 2 drops also seems far to destructive.

posted a message on Tempostorm meta snapshot #28

I use both along with Disguised Toast's site.  They all have their unique contributions as long as you know their flaws and value.  If TS's meta report is dated or inaccurrate yet has a diamond in there to be found, not in the other site's, than it was worth a read.  Just make sure you have a critical mind, not taking things as gospel, and don't limit yourself to limited sources of information.

posted a message on meta is worse than before

Currently rank 4 with 3 stars, playing quest rogue.  I have seen a wide variety of decks, many specifically targeting my deck archetype.  How long this goes on remains to be seen.  I'm enjoying the challenge of dealing with difficult matchups, staying alive while simultaneously getting the quest done.  Yes, it can be hilariously easy to get it done, but even with good, not godly, draw, you need to stay alive long enough to take back control of the board.  I hope priest, paladin, and shaman stay relevant in the coming months, because they have deck archetypes, I want to try out.

of course PW will exist since it only looses finley.. anyway, it is just wrong to think that druid will be in a bad spot after rotation !

It's certainly possible druid could be in a bad spot.  The meta doesn't always shape up to our hopes or expectations.  I will say they are certainly in a helluva lot better spot than Paladin and Priest.  The rest of the 7 classes, including Druid, have the potential to hit at least T2.  That's not necessarily a bad spot.

how can you say that druid looks to be in a pretty bad spot ? do you know jade ?

It remains to be seen how good Jade Druid will be in the new meta.  They are losing Azure Drake and Living Roots which I think is even a bigger hit than the former.  They are also losing losing Mulch.  So that's 3 huge cards with no good replacement unless you think Naturalize is a suitable replacement for Mulch in an aggro/midrange meta.  I suppose Jade could be good against Control Warrior, but I believe the best Fire Plume Warrior will be a more Midrange/Tempo based build.
     here is my prediction :
meta will be slower = jade druid will shine more
It might slow only due to aggro shaman being gone.  you've got another thing coming if you think more slow decks are gonna be around with Reno Mage and Reno lock leaving standard.  I don't think Pirate warrior is going away either and swarm decks are likely coming out of Lock and Hunter.
