I still haven't seen anything this expansion (so far) that's going to revive warlock. They need a stupidly good death knight to come back I think- like even zoolock hasn't gotten any cheap, effective early minions to use
Is this kind of card a "buff" card that gives credit towards the quest? Just genuinely curious about that- might (and that's a very strong might) see play in a buffadin deck
Terrible. Just think of the deck building to accomodate this. This would need to pull at LEAST 3 secrets to be mana efficient. And has there ever been a secret mage before? No. Mage secrets are very non-mana efficient for the cost, and the risk of pulling your secrets is terrible, as they're likely to just sit in your hand.
Comparisons to mysterious challenger? There shoudn't be any comparison. 2 mana more, and no minion body. Bad card, dust it.
Obvious comparison to argent horserider. -1/-1 less stats, but the divine shield allows for a possible two trades. This card is just a 4 mana tidal surge that does one less damage (3 damage to an enemy, heal 3 to face). Just won't see any play, bad even in arena. Dust.
People are vastly overrating this card. Very poor stats, and doesn't have any immediate impact on the board. Dilutes your deck as well unless you're running a thoughtsteal priest which historically haven't been super successful. Even then, you put cards in your constructed deck or a reason- not drawing those specific answers would be terrible. It would only see play in a control meta (if at all), but let's be honest, this will be an agro meta once again. Pirate warrior isn't going anywhere. Token druid isn't going anywhere.
Honestly, pretty solid arena card. Good stats and prevents mages pinging which is really big in removing their ability to trade efficiently, if only for a turn or two

Thoughtsteal which gives one more card at the cost of 2 more mana. Not even remotely worth it, especially since thoughtsteal is never run anymore.

Playable in exodia or some weird combo mage. Nowhere else. Pseudo nerf for primordial glyph.
