This is the kinda card we've needed to keep the elemental curving going on and fufilling the elemental played mechanic. I wonder if you can cross-class discover, aka grabbing kalimos as a mage.
I don't think so, considering cards like netherspite historian doesn't cross classes.
The guys who voted for meta-defining and very good probably do not understand it's shuffled into the deck, not added to your hand. This card is tier 3 at best.
You need to understand that Tol'vir Warden isn't worried about that.
on turn 6, probably wont make a big deal, besides you want to play highmane, so this comes out like t7.
I think this card is only relevant when running the quest, and is really terrible otherwise, except maybe as a 1-drop in a fatigue control hunter which needs cards. The problem is the stat distribution; having 1 health 1 drop is generally terrible. The effect is also mediocre, considering the fact that it is highly unlikely a 1-mana 4/3 is going to be relevant when you draw it. This of course is solved with the new card which draws two 1-drops. People are overhyping this but IMO the real card to be concerned about is the quest. Just the fact that this card costs 1 mana and the token as well may be enough to push it into constructed. Without the quest it's dubious whether or not any hunter would run this over the other options.
tl;dr : Seemingly ok/not broken card, may see lots of play if quest is good.
Reno jackson is a superhero. But I think it limits the design space too much; everyone believes that in order to play control you need to run this card.
Oh for that deck ^ theres a ton of counters, i was unable to build around counterspell and spellbender, so being unable to clear your board is really big. Astral druid into leeroy jenkings on their side spawning 2 1/1 on your side is also ruinous. mayor noggenfogger. astral druid into yoggsaron into 3 pyroblast face :D The problem is the deck is so intricate any extra cards here or extra minions means you're gonna get screwed.

This card is absolutely meta-defining. It almost single-handedly counters a tier-1 deck from this season, pirate warrior.
