posted a message on Kobolds is Handing Out Freebies - Which Legendary Weapon Are You Hoping For?

Anyone else think the weapons are too weak?  Would have like to see something of near the power level of the death knights.

posted a message on Mike Donais Explains the Categories of Hearthstone's Mechanics

Add a Steed keyword that works kinda like spikeridhe steed. You put it on a minion and you stack the stats. Then when it is killed the minion up top remains or maybe the one on the bottom.

More of the top 2 categories would be good.  I’d like to see a few tribal synergy cards of each type on new expansions .

Also quests are fun.  I like the way they start in your hand. The magic items of k&c are kind of like mini quests , which looks interesting

    The Sunken Treasure (TST)

Ahoy! Unfurl yer sails and hear a tale of treasure beneath the deep!

They'll be mermaids a plenty, and coins for you to keep.

But beware the ghostly pirates, and something worse beneath,

The greater the danger, the greater the treasure, so off we go,

To be rich or be eaten by a monstrous sea Troll.

Swinging a cutlass to lead the way....

    To the Sunken Treasure!

posted a message on Five Predictions of Mammoth Proportions

Here's my prediction for the expansion...

    The Steed Expansion

The UnGoro expansion had dinosaurs and ancient creatures which harkens to the Mammoths,  The Frozen Throne is in the cold, where Woolly Mammoths thrive.   But what else can be associated with mammoths (or elephants), and has meaning in WOW? .... Steeds!  There will be a new keyword "steed".  A steed card will work just like the Spikeridge Steed card.  It will give its stats to a minion as a buff, and will revert to those same stats when it gets killed.  The spikeridge card will be rephrased to be use the new keyword, just as Bristlecannon was.

posted a message on Fresh Tavern Brawl Ideas...

Post your fresh tavern brawl ideas for Blizzard to use.  Crossroads is more stale than the coffee in an pot in an abandoned post-apocolptic truck stop.

The ideas don't have to be balanced, as it only lasts less than a week.  I'll start things off:

    1. Choose a class, and choose from any card from any class (that you have in your collection)!

    2. Choose 6 cards from any class for your deck.  The rest will be repeats.

ReverseStone: At the beginning of the game, the player's decks are switched.  So, the goal is to build the worst deck possible!

posted a message on Encounter at the Crossroads is this Week's Brawl!

Yeah Crossroads in one of the worst.  I want more brals like "Put X number of cards in your deck, the rest will be copies".  The boss fights are fun, but In understands those take a lot of work.  But making some weird rule and letting the plays build a deck to it shouldn't be that hard.  The rule should be very significant though.

Maybe people can suggest new brawls in this forum.   Start a new thread....

posted a message on Ben Brode on Evergreen Cards in Standard, Hall of Fame, Player Accessibility to the Meta

Overall I like these nerfs.  Muloc Warleader adding to Murloc health made them hard to deal with and makes Murlocs a consistent power deck in each meta.  It also feels like a bug when Finja hits somethings and should be dead, but stays alive because he summons a warleader.

Fiery waraxe makes aggro warrior a consistent threat in every meta.

The innervate nerf I'm not sure of.  I felt like the larger problem was the infinite Jade for Druid.  I like the jade shard idea that people had to nerf that.  I don't mind that infinte Jade beats mill, but the problem in the latest meta was they use spreading plague etc just to stall till they can inevitably overrun their opponents with Jade Golems as long as they can stay alive long enough.  It's better to be able to have control v control  matchups where its unknown who will have the better end-game.

Hex is pretty strong, but does that mean polymorph should get the same nerf?

posted a message on Should I disenchant the warrior hero?

I have garrosh too and never play it.  But with the no duplicate legendary rule, keeping it ensures you wint find another one.  So I would keep it because you’ll be kicking yourself if you dust it, then open a pack from a quest and get another one.  Keep it at least until the next expansion arrives as that’s when you won’t be earning much more frozen throne packs.

posted a message on Malfurion the Pestilent

Compare this card to DK Guldan, and it's a joke.  You get a couple pitiful minions.  Guldan gets a board full of minions.  You get hero power of +3 attack or +3 armor, barely better than a standard.  Guldan gets a hero power of 3 damage to any target plus lifesteal!  This is triple the power of the use mage power plus healing your hero for 3!

I think Guldan's DK power is OP (especially with that 6/6/6 demon that does 1 damage to all enemies at the end of every turn coming bakc through this card), and Druid's is underpowered, and the rest are fine.
