On Arena i only concede when im 100% sure that my opponent will not miss lethal in the next turn.
On casual and ranked its pretty much the same + when i'm against aggro opponent with turn 1 2/3 undertaker and 1 mana deathtrattle minion and i don't have answer to it i'll not waste my time and just concede or when i'm playing shaman and im against priest, it's just not fun matchup at all.
<snip> A few months ago I spent 2 seasons at low ranks (conceded to 20 then winstreaked to 13, repeat) farming golden portraits for those classes that I rarely play (like paladin) and it was a painful and very boring experience. After the first few freewins your brain starts to numb, and there is no feeling of accomplishment in any win. I was also worried that I will get worse if I get used to not getting punished for my greedy moves or misplays, and my worries proved right and I had to practice to have a chance against my legend friends again when I stopped farming. The only fun for me is to face strong players with strong decks where every turn counts and 1 mistake costs you the game. However it is completely fine if you enjoy playing at low ranks or casual games. It is like playing chess at a club level where you have to memorize openings, or playing casually for the love of the game. Just please don't make complaints about balance/cards/classes then if you choose this way, because you will have no deep understanding of the game to make such claims.
Well you may get harder opponents at later ranks however the deck diversity will be poor up there and some players like diversity, casual or not. Lately i was more into making my own decks and its fun to beat those strong decks copied from the internet.
I think brawl is the crucial card in this matchup. Unlike zoo, mech mage doesn't have a lot of draw or sticky deathrattles. The mechwarpers let them dump their hand really fast for a lot of early pressure which is what makes them so hard to deal with but if you brawl all of it away, they can't replenish and you can stabilize with belchers and shieldmaidens.
Unless they run echo of medivh. I use mech mage somtimes with this card and one duplicate and it saved me from boardclears few times, theres always an option to run loatheb but i think echo is more fun atm.
I get salty everytime i go below 3 wins at arena or i lose to some no brainer rush deck that hopes for a topdeck to win, that will never change i guess.
At constructed and play mode i don't rly get mad unless i met few priest players in a row with perfect answers at the right time.

Overall Hemet and Flame Leviathan in 51 packs.

Your old zoolock is still superrior and more consistent compared to this deck tbh.

Then he used flamstrike on my board followed by frostbolt, pyro, fireball face in next turns.

I had similiar situation yesterday. The diffrence was i played paladin and used muster of battle at turn 3 while killing his 1 drop with hammer.
