Best way to learn isn't to ignore all the new cards it's to jump in and actually experience them in play. If you're new you're going to hang around rank 20-25 anyway where more people have predominantly classic style decks. We also just simply don't need -more- ladders... two is enough, it'd start to get ridiculous.
This would be fine if Blizzard didn't"t notoriously power creep in their expansions. If new players at least had something of chance to win games with basic cards as long as they played perfectly then yes, this wouldn't be necessary. But getting wrecked by an opponent having objectively more powerful cards because they dumped 100 in to the game is a major deterrent in my opinion.
that is exactly what standard format is for - to avoid power creep in every expansion, imagine if there was only wild, they would have to keep making more powerful cards so that people would want to play with them

doesn't look too ridiculous to me, we will get new formats sooner or later, but what will they be it's up to blizz,
I personally wouldn't mind classic/basic format as I started playing just after undertaker nerf and before BRM and would love to see how the game played before any expansions
as other's are saying, it's casual you don't lose anything by conceding, you see a pirate warrior concede and go to the next game, you won't waste your time and feel better and you will make the other person happy too
Somehow I believe the card is not missing anything, that is exactly how it's gonna look like and there will be some mechanic that would add stats and text to it.
PLEASE replace this booorrrring and "rip off" TB with something fun - I look forward to the TB's every week - but will NOT be playing this week unless it's changed - played one round and I'm done! So very disappointed this week :( :(
PLEASE understand that fun is a very subjective thing! It's not aimed directly at you Mr/Ms schmoozan but to everyone complaining about how this is unfun or a rip-off or whatever... just ignore it this week, it's blizz's game and they can do whatever they want, and they wouldn't be bringing this back if the first one wasn't a success in their eyes
I myself love it, even though I know I will probably do 0:3, still it adds a completely different flavor to the game and it's super fun to me to feel that losses actually matter a lot here
Am I the only one that thinks after looking at quite a few noggenfogger videos that he chooses the initial target way too often?
Just watched kripps latest video and again I felt like the initially selected target was being randomly chosen on average more times than any other target even when there was 12+ possible ones on the board.
thats the thing @DopeBro, i AM taking part and sucking it up (so to speak), but i just think its arrogant on Blizzards part to expect people to fork out $50USD for something on blind faith. the least they could do is reveal more cards before they ask for handouts
but they aren't making you to buy it now, you can wait until the very last day when they show all the cards and announce a date of release to pre-order, they just included it in this patch so they don't have to patch it too often cause releasing a patch for all the platforms is a proper pain in the bollocks
that'S why you wait until all cards have been released and preorder afterwards. Nobody's actually preordering already.
you'd be surprised, I bet thousands of people already threw their money at blizz, I know I'm gonna preorder no matter what, why wait then, especially that it's just after payday, so do it while I still can :)

Or I'm wrong, we'll find out soon enough.
