You have many big threats that don't line up well with their removals and playing your DK early will give you a consistent source of damage. I think you're actually slightly unfavored against Velen OTK variants, but versus other variants, you have enough heal to outlast them.
Deck is great against Razakus priest. You have a lot of threats that don't line up well versus their removals (you have a ton of 4 attack minions and dragons). The only games I've lost have been results of him bursting me down with Velen and Mind Blasts.
I'm having a lot of trouble with aggro rogue because they play around defile and have so much burst from hand. Are there any more anti-aggro techs that I can run? I've been trying Golakka in place of Lich King but that's really weak vs. Priests and Jade druids. Is there a way to fit in Stonehill or Tar Creeper? Thanks for the deck though, I went from rank 4 to 2.
Did some tweaks to my Echo Shaman, mainly to be greedier than Priests and to Geist Jade Druids. I'm currently 10-0 with it. I was flopping around rank 11-13 3 days ago, took a break because Druids made me sad. Even on Frozen launch, I couldn't climb past rank 11, was having no luck at all.
Now, I'm rank 10. 5 of my 10 win streak was against Druid, 1 aggro, 4 Jade. 2 Priests. Evolve Shaman. Hunter. Pirate Warrior. This deck I'm using truly feels competitive in every matchup, but of course, like all games, you do need to draw well. Jade Druid isn't close to 100%, I'd say it's 50-70% now instead of my former 30%, and Priests can always hit the nuts without me having proper removal.
Still, as a career gimmick Shaman, I must say I love this deck and I'm having more fun than possibly ever before. Maybe if I can ever swing a day off of work, I'll make an actual push towards legend. I don't have the patience and the thrill of bowing out on top always distracts me from truly making a push.
It is strong, but if you play Murloc Paladin or Pirate Warrior the matchup is pretty easy. It's definitely a deck that you need to either counter, tech against, or just accept that the matchup is bad against your deck and move on. Though it's really good, it's easily beatable with a multitude of aggressive or midrange strategies.

What is this thread, I'm confused at all the responses?

I use it mostly to pull Velen in late game.

Hit legend with this deck but subbed Ironbeak Owl for Dirty Rat to help vs Priest and it's also quite powerful versus Rogue.

Deathwing, Dragonlord only pulls 3 dragons and none of them are that strong?

This deck doesn't run mark of the lotus....

Hit legend with this last week, it crushes aggro but performs worse against control than traditional Jade Druid.

If you introduce a free legendary rotation it will disrupt the meta every time it changes which isn't good for the game.

How is the paladin matchup?
