A card in the same vein as Burgle but much more playable and with a nice upside of combo'd.

A kind of oddball Antonidas-esque Combo/Discover engine with the drawback that over time your opponent will also gain access to the same cards.

The discovered Combo cards are what gets shuffled into your opponents deck. FYI.

A card that is a bit over-statted, but has a downside that your opponent can control and use to punish you.

I've come up with a rogue card that has a pretty strong persistent effect with a slight downside (hence the slight over-statting). Thoughts?

Whenever you play any of these cards: http://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Combo you get to discover another! The downside is that your opponent also gets a copy. I'm curious to see opinions on whether or not the downside copy should go into the opponents hand or deck? A copy going into the hand feels like too much of a downside to me and would render the card almost unplayable, it would need be statted much higher, maybe 4/6 or 5/5. Thoughts?

Some love for a control rogue archetype.

This card can open up some interesting combos, both with and without Thaurissan procs. Chen into Sylvanas taunt, Chen into Grim Patron charge (however the card only works on minions PLAYED, not SUMMONED, so the subsequent Patrons would not gain charge). If this card survives a turn late game you can set up some even nastier combos. Alex into 7 hp enemy hero. North Sea Kraken 13 damage burst. It's possible this could be OP with low cost giants! :D

Whoa. I actually JUST made a bad ass 5 mana 6/8 pirate. Double whammy!

edit: Hmm. I'm just realizing that the first bit should be Battlecry. Oh well.

    Next up: 8 mana 5/5

Simple. Powerful, but requires a bit of setup. Would likely be good in more token based Shaman or Paladin decks.

I'd imagine a new expansion to be something akin to the neutral shops in WC3. The neutral items/potions would translate decently to Hearthstone. The trick is trying give them just enough power at a good enough cost to be useful in a real deck.

A pseudo sap/silence against your opponent. A decent way to heal up or remove nasty effects on your own minions.

    Quote from ZherJ >>

I had some sort of design philosophy when I was designing my own Overload cards, since I want Shamans to be competitive. I love Thrall as a character. Here it was:

"Overload cards, because of how it borrows your next turn's mana, should be able to generate a lot of tempo or card advantage on their own."

Maybe they should release sticky minions with Overload, since as of now, Overload minions just have above average stats. Here is a card I designed a long time ago:

I want to put this card in my reincarnate shaman deck. I love it.

    Quote from pochitos >>

All your cards are fair and balanced so they wouldn't be played. Shaman needs a card strong by himself (not a 1/3 or a 0/4) that makes overload, or totems, or shaman in general, viable. Shamans need his Mysterious Challenger.

100% agreed. Shaman is in dire need of some more pro-active cards that you can just slam on curve and make the opponent deal with.

Is this OP? Maybe. Shaman needs more cards like this. A strong effect your opponent does not want to leave on the board, and a solid body all in one. Give Shaman a couple of options like this and they are in a great spot.

I also really like the card in the OP. It's tough to say how balanced it would be as a 1/2 versus a 1/3 but the idea is the right one. Overload is often more con than pro, but give Shamans some ways to take advantage of their overload cards, or overloaded crystals and they can be relevant again.

posted a message on Fan cards - making joust viable.

I would run 2x Argent Maiden in every single deck ever, even if I wasn't building it around joust. A 2/2 for 1 with no drawback is crazy strong. I think Veteran Coach is a cool idea if it's technically possible to implement. It could open up options for viable joust archetypes I think. Cool card ideas! :)
