Almost universally agreed by everyone that this nerf is terrible. Blizz knows its a lazy nerf too they cant be this dumb. Blizz's only philosophy with this game is to milk as much money as possible from people while getting away with the absolute bare minimum game balance and features. With a new adventure/expansion around the corner at blizzcon people will get excited again and throw money at them and this will forever continue. Blizz is laughing all the way to the bank. They are playing everyone like a fiddle.
Oh and god forbid they nerf a card that people feel should be nerfed and are hoarding many copies for dust. Like boom or piloted shredder. Thats just not good for business.
I'd save for adventures. Dr. Boom is one of the most likely cards nerfed next anyways. Once you have the adventures then save dust to get Dr. Boom if you still want.
so many stars have to align for this card to be useful. not worth a card early game and how much overload mana are you gonna save late game with it without at the same time losing card advantage since it still costs 2 mana to use. crappy removal for its cost.
Gonna have to play around with this one to see if its good or not.
Since you can silence it and its not consistent if you can buff its attack up enough or not, why wouldnt you just play Feugen or Spectral Knight in its place instead.
Blizz is probably just saving more decks as a selling point feature in the future of an expansion once we get a lot more cards. They do this all the time with their other games, spread out the most obvious game features as marketing tactics. Its easier than releasing everything people want right away and then trying to come up with original ideas.
If I had to guess, and Im just pulling numbers out of my ass here. I would say theres gonna be maybe 126 cards total with 9 new class cards for each class.
3 new commons, 3 new rares, 2 new epics, 1 new legendary each class. With 9 classes that makes up 81 of the GvG cards.
The rest of the 45 neutrals will be broken down into 16 commons, 13 rares, 6 epics, 10 legendary.
Depends on how far along your collection is and yet the dust is the same so I would just save for GvG since you are gonna be crafting those cards (legendarys) you want from the classic set anyways and not relying on lucky pack openings.

its possible the hold mechanic means these high mana dragons arent as totally useless sitting in your hand when you draw them early

guess giving hunter crappy new cards is one way to bring them down in line with other classes.

Decent card if you can manage to keep it alive. Almost everything kills this thing right away.

sick card, useful at every stage of the game.
