To be honest card draw was NOT what murloc shaman really needed. The reward from quest, Megafin has the card draw recovery covered and that's the whole point of completing the quest. You are incentivized to run out of cards by the time you played the 10th murloc. I've built and played the murloc shaman for a bit and I found it very easy to draw enough murlocs just naturally to finish the quest consistently by turn 7~8 or so and I did not even require Primalfin Lookout in my deck to do so.
The real problem was trying to make my murlocs to actually stick on the field without getting cleared every turn. If I really needed the card draw to finish the quest, I would use Primalfin Lookout instead of Ice Fishing since it's much more efficient. The other new card, Brrrloc is pretty good card. But I don't think I would use Ice Fishing at all.
If we learned anything from Wrathion, this card will only draw 1 card more than half the time and 2 cards if you are lucky. And wrathion even came with a decent body with a taunt. Not to mention dragon synergy was tier 1 at the time. You need to draw at least 2 cards with this card to be even mediocre and trying to fit that many deathrattle minions into rogue deck is unfeasible especially in standard.
Only time deathrattle rogue was remotely viable as tier 3 deck was when Unearthed Raptor was in rotation along with Nerubian Egg, Piloted Shredder, Sludge Belcher, etc. I don't see a deathrattle card in this set thats nearly as strong as those.

this is not a control card at all. It's meant to be used in token deck like zoolock with similar use as Power Overwhelming. Only half of warlock cards are revealed so far and theres also Sanguine Reveler which is also a good zoolock card.
I think this card would have been so much stronger if it's effect was deathrattle.
Might have been overpowered card for N'zoth decks and quest priests actually.
Putting 2 of this in the deck with only few high value deathrattle cards such as Tirion, Cairne, White Eyes, or Aya would be enough for N'zoth deck to perform well and summoning this with n'zoth and getting more high value legendaries from that would be insane.
I was comparing on a usefulness level. both cards have pros and cons like lotus agents sometimes lets you choose a card that's good for the current situation you are in and has high percentage chance to gets you a jade card if you dont have enough jade cards in your deck, while you can build a deck around tomb lurker and get a consistent high value from it. But I think they would see about same amount of play.
This is much needed card with all the hero power focused decks coming out. Great counter cards like this is what keeps hearthstone balanced and interactive.
Better card than Saboteur although that card did not see play since inspire decks never took off.
Please don't say its impossible to lose vs control while massively teched vs aggro. I know people easily get fond of their decks but have you actually faced tier 1 and 2 control decks in high ladder? (legend or rank 3 and above)
Imo, warrior is already a class that has access to most amount of healing via armor and making it a renodeck is kinda pointless. I'd say it would have been more plausible if you went quest reno warrior route.

no because it's recasted by the spell, not by the player.
You actually have to 'play' the card from your hand to trigger the effect of gadgetzan, arcane giant, yogg saron, etc
