If you're PISSED OFF and want to murder the guy because they didn't want to reveal a card from a game they don't play anymore and openly don't play anymore in bad taste, you are what's wrong with this community.
And by the way i don't like toast, i think they're a typical streamer, they pander to their cancerous twitch audience all the time, and indulge in them for money, but seeing people VOCIFEROUSLY HATE him because of this is straight up fucken dumb. Don't make me defend people i hate.
I don't think elysiana is autoinclude in control decks anymore as much as people whine and complain about control warrior on here you rarely see them anymore, now it's more cylcone mage token druid and aggro shaman imo
Thank you for your reply but I am not looking at power level and win chance when drawn, I am as you exactly put it does it matter to have 1 Argent Squire and 1 Mecharoo or just have a duplicate? Does it matter to have single vs duplicate in terms of building a deck? In the end I have the same chance (2 out of 30) to draw either one of them right?
depends on the kind of deck you are building, if you are building a mech paladin with a lot of mech synergies it's better to have the mecharoo, but if you're saying handbuff or board buffing cards like kings, it's better to have the divine shield most of the time, if this isn't what you are looking for you should check out the early in rise of shadows mech paladin decks and why some of them ran the 1 mana 1/3 mech and why some of them didn't.
To be fair to toast the way they changed cards to "appeal to china/make the game better for babies that don't like blood" is a shitty move, but i don't feel like it's a reason to quit the game over, people whining is always going to happen in any game, so i don't think that's a reason to quit a game either, i just think he is hopping on the "-chess" train and needed a convenient excuse to not look like a trend hopper.
I think if this sees any play it'll be in a singleton burn mage deck, but that logic might change based on when all the cards are released, i see this as more of an upgraded cinderstorm on a stick than a dynomatic
how through the course of the game through dragon roars and voones, i ended up with 6 deathwings, in my hand at the end of the game and i didn't get to play a single one of them.
facepalm, how would you play more than one?
There was a point when i was at low health and i used the voone to double a Emberscale Drake so i could gain 10 more health, i naturally run one deathwing
I just played a looooooooooooooooooong game against a handlock named Tom with my doragon warrior, and it was a great game, i ended up winning because i rolled the discover a mech, got hecklebot and pulled the last card from his deck which was a doomsayer. The game was straight up amazing, and i wanted to add the guy after to show how through the course of the game through dragon roars and voones, i ended up with 6 deathwings, in my hand at the end of the game and i didn't get to play a single one of them.
I understand what you're saying about how the quality of cards this "year" has toned down a lot compared to previous "years" But i don't really mind, in my opinion SoU seems like the expansion built for wild players, i made a shaman quest C'thun deck already, which i think fits the hero power from the quest perfectly. Some of the quests are pretty bad, paladin quest relies on cards that will only be printed in this expansion warlock has to draw almost their entire deck(yeah i know about plot twist but it's a bigger meme than 7 mana 1/1 deal 20 dmg to all enemies), the warrior quest i can't imagine seeing play at all, at least until boomsday rotates out. As for singleton decks being outright destroyed by bomb warrior B), i have never queued into a bomb warrior deck, never, i've faced control warriors that have a few bomb cards, but never a full fledged focused on bombs warrior, i understand this is just my own experience but i believe it's being blown out of proportion.
Honestly i think they're trying to tone down card effects because the past was so good, cards like deathstalker rexxar, frostlich jaina, bloodreaver gul'dan were absolutely disgusting and autoincludes for deckbuilding. i think reborn is a pretty bad mechanic that panders to arena and aggro because they're the deckbuilding style of "Maybe i'll just keep playing minions and they won't be able to deal with them all eventually and i'll just win"
I'm not super exited for this expansion as you can probably tell by the tone of this looooooooooooooong drawn out chunk of text, but i don't think it's bad i just think we're going back to normal and that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Good theory craft i just think that the ordering of the first and second step is wrong since the heropower battlecry will fizzle on the cultist's battlecry, and not the baleful banker's battlecry, kind of like coining out kalecgos

Is it really "evolve" archetype if you only have one evolve card?
