Has anyone else noticed that the auto-complete option seems to be missing in the deck builder in game? I used this frequently to build decks around a few key cards and it showed me new strategies to use with my card collection. Now we have a ‘deck helper’ instead, which suggests very basic cards. Or am I looking in the wrong place?

I noticed last week that on the front page, no decks show as being good for this brawl. The top 3 decks slot is empty.

 This site has on average around 5 new forum posts a day. Back in its heyday, you’d do a new post in general discussion and it would be off the front forum page within an hour, such was the visitor count.

This site reflects the general popular interest in Hearthstone as a game, and therefore this site.

The writing was on the wall years ago when the visitor count here dropped to such a degree that a decision was made to close the site entirely. The volunteers who kept the site running for years offered to take it over, but it was refused. At the last minute, the site was sold to a third party and things never recovered.

The devs who made InnKeeper and the collection manager here all jumped ship. It really makes no sense to develop a software or forum add-on for a community with so few posts a day.

The game itself is now full of bots (check the forum threads) as even Blizzard have realised there is so much less player engagement that they need to do something about it. Say hello to your new friends, “OrangeMonkey, BlueWolf, GreenFish” etc. They say that these bot accounts are now only used for new players to compete against, but that’s a lie. I’ve been playing since 2017, and I still see these accounts in Diamond and Platinum ranks.

Blizzard now makes money by selling expansion packs with broken cards that are nerfed weeks after release. They also sell you cosmetics. And then most recently, a ticket to a rewards track, that after you have purchased said ticket, they increase the requirements of all rewards by 3x. IRL, that’s like buying a discount voucher that gets you 20% off your favourite takeout coffee for 3 months, then as soon as they have your money, they increase the base price of the coffee from £1 to £3!

The game is dead. It’s a sad mourning for us all who had high hopes of the promises of recent years.

The only remaining successful format is Battlegrounds.

It’s from classic. If you copy the deck code with this card in it, it will be available to you.

Believe it or not, some people sit there all week playing stuff like this repeatedly, even though there are no additional rewards for playing, other than pixels on a screen telling them they’re doing great.

Meanwhile, real life passes by outside their window 🙄

With your most recent changes this deck is just pure fun on a stick to play. I’m having great fun and success with it. There’s always an answer in my hand to play against most opponents. Thanks for posting it.

 I think they must have. I opened the 60 packs I bought, and then 46 more I got with saved up gold.

I opened 16 Legendaries…two of which were golden!

Well I am absolutely over the moon! This has been my best pack opening ever!

I bought the small pre-order (60 cards) then I had enough free gold to buy 46 more packs.

I even got a Golden Helya.

If everybody gets your point wrong, you may consider the possibility of actually being wrong.

Aggresive decks are to strong in wild mode. Luckily, most people just want to play Renathal/Reno decks. In those contol vs control matchups Hearthstone still shines like it did in the good old days. In these games there is also room for lategame cards. Travelmaster Dungar is not the best example imho, since it's a weak payoff and in addition it needs some deck building around it. But there are at least some viable 8+ Mana cards in the meta. For example:

Lightforged Cariel

Aviana

Shudderwock

Reno, Lone Ranger

Time is convoluted in Hearthstone. WHen you play against miracle builds, their time is always longer than what you actually get because of broken animations

Where as Sickly Grimewalker and Crop Rotation is a good combo, It is a 7 mana combo with a possibility of killing 4 minions. You also have plenty of 3 damage spells that have roughly the same outcome against aggro decks and are almost the same as mana cost goes. Dirty Rat is solid too, it is mostly effective against just warriors at the moment. Threads of Despair also need a certain amount of bodies on board to be highly effective. I just try to deal with the minions as they appear and get my combos in as I can.

I've tried it at diamond and the fact that it doensn't work against aggro makes it unreliable. You are left to discoveries to deal with those matchups, and that's just one problem. The excavate package yields aren't always what you need and I only really got value from the Azerite Rat vs warrior and druid, because they are slow enough to give you the opportunity.

For this you're sacrificing a lot of stable and necessary cards like Threads of Despair, Sickly Grimewalker and Crop Rotation, that can help you deal with any board. Vs Warrior Dirty Rat is also a good option, to cancel his Brann or Boomboss.
