P.S. Remember folks - there's no need to attack the opponent's face at all with this deck. Just keep feeding the firelord with THEIR minions ;) :D Have fun!
I think it's because the amount of dust you need is simply calculated on the fly. All other values are stored in the SQL database, thus making them 'sortable'.
When Hearthpwn shows you how much dust you need for each deck, it isn't aware that there's a number there - it's just showing a sum e.g. Dust cost minus Dust owned - it's the same sum in every table cell, therefore making it 'unsortable'.
The rummaging kobold could be a great addition to your deck, it would give you 2 more jade claws (each, due to shudder) and 3 extra jades... And jade claws is a hell of a weapon!
i think brann is not a great fit for a deck with so much overload, a lava shock may work better overall. plus, if youre playing doppleganster and evole, thrall deathseer seems to be a natural card to add as well, possibly in place of a mana tide totem
I'll give the lava shock a try, thanks!
I had Thrall in the deck up until this afternoon, but since the nerf of Shudderwock, Thrall's battlecry stops shudder dead once he's transformed :(
So I've been playing around for the past couple of days refining a hybrid shaman deck (has some overload, some evolve and some shudder dynamics) see below.
It's great fun to play, and has a surprisingly good win-rate so far (not counted as such as I've been playing on my mobile, but I'd say 4 out of every 5 games is a win between rank 10-15).
Here's the deck...I'm just wondering if there are any more obvious refinements I can make? I'm thinking about taking out Mana Tide Totem at the minute as he very rarely lasts more than 1-2 turns, and I might possibly swap out Brann Bronzebeard as I only play him if my overload cards don't come out early.
I'm just wondering how many of you 'auto-squelch' your opponent?
Recently, I've come across 2 types of players.
The first type is an idiot. They're usually playing Quest Priest, Kingsbane Rogue or Secret Hunter. They are completely silent the entire game until they feel like they are winning against you. Then they keep emoting with the "Wow" or "Threaten" multiple times every turn. Then you play your winning hand, and they either rage quit, or simply concede without so much as a 'well played'.
The second type stays silent for the entire game...no greeting or anything. It's not until they know that they are going to win that they emote, "Well Played".
I'm wondering if these players have 'auto squelched' me at the beginning of the game? And if so, why?
HS is a social game against another human being. I always greet the player, and when they make great plays against me, I always emote "Well Played!"
It's an empty experience though when you only get Player 1 or Player 2.
Please go easy on me...I've been playing HS for a few months now, but I've never really felt 'good enough' for arena. That extra 50 gold for an entry vs a card pack just seemed too much of a gamble.
With the new quest theme though, it's easier to earn gold, so I've ventured in these past couple of days.
First time I crafted a deck on my own...but there were cards I'm not used to seeing. I screwed up, and ended up with a hunter deck that finished with 4 wins.
So I found the Overwolf app and used that for my next 2 entries decks; A priest, then a rogue.
Both finished 0:3. :(
I'm pretty disheartened right now after feeling like I wasted 300 gold (or 3 packs I guess).
The Overwolf app kept on recommending certain cards as "we really need a 2 drop right now"; even though I had 4-5 2 drops already in my deck of 20 cards (at that point).
Next it was recommending "this card will fit really nicely in our attrition deck", only to recommend the next card draw should be chosen as "it would fit nicely in our control deck". ??
Regardless, I chose whatever it recommended, and lost 6 games in a row with the 2 decks I built. The other players just seemed to have much better cards.
I'm sure it's just me, because frankly, I'm not great at deck building (yet).
I just wanted to check in to see if others recommend the Overwolf app when starting with Arena, or if it's a general consensus that there's a better way?
Forest Guide now draws 2 cards at the end of every turn. Works really well, plus it places another minion on the board for control. Maybe you’ll give it a try and consider adding it to the deck?

I think you've missed the point of the brawl...you and your opponent are meant to 'fire up' the 'enemy' with cheap minions to get a 'special reward'.
Good luck with your one pack...but don't moan later that you weren't told this ;)
P.S. notice how it keeps track of your 'overall score' after multiple brawls? i.e. How much you fed the 'enemy' - not killed your opponent? ;)

The first deck I've built to respond the the netdecks used in the Tavern Brawl! Hope you like it?

Which quests are these? I’m confused.
I'm just getting the regular daily quest?

Hope you have fun with it :)

Snowflipper Penguin has more synergy though.

Am I thinking along the right tracks?
Thanks.

Why do these people play? :( Genuine question.

Nice deck.
I removed one Wild Growth, and replaced it with a Drakkari Enchanter.

That might explain it! I’m playing on my iPhone, but I only purchase through my Android tablet.
I was picking up a free pack after playing a friend and noticed the prices on the right hand side.
But still ... wow ... £19.99 instead of £16.99 just for playing on a different device is an incredible increase! 🧐
