Not at all. The jade cards are useless for you because you are always in minimum 8 turns behind. Even with additional jade cards you won't be able to catch up. You make them just happy with playing this card because they get time to ramp up.
You're right. That makes it slightly better. But the biggest problem about Prince Malchezaar is that you don't draw your removal if you need it. Belive me or not, but it will be the same problem with Bishop.
Why would you want consistency in your deck? :D It's like Yogg 2.0
Because priest is all about having the right answers. More than every other class perhaps. Yogg has an instant effect and you don't play it if you are in front. You play it when you are going to lose the match anyway. So the outcome dosen't get worse and sometimes it gets much better. When you play Bishop, it does actually nothing. You need in minimum 2, 3 turns to get any vlaue out of it and you lose tempo. If you draw Servant of Kalimos without any elementals, it's just a 4/5 for 5 mana. You don't get more cards in your hand, you don't get synergies with the hero power (Shield Slam as example) etc.
I'm extremely sure that ppl who think the card is over the top, are going to be disappointed. Best case in my opinion is that archbishop is going to be a ok'ish card. The more aggro the meta is going the be, the wors the card is.
Second thing I thought: My first thoughts were similar when Malchezaar was released. But shuffle aditional cards in your deck dosen't always mean getting a better deck. Of course it depends on the enemys deck and you have the choice to play it or not. But getting C'thun cards as example doesen't help you very much without c'thun. And your chance to draw the answer you need is extremely lower. Even in arena Malchezaar isn't such a thing.
We will see how it comes. But I'm not so overhyped. Especially jade druids are happy if they can drag out the game. Until you can play Archbishop and get the jade avalanche running yourself, the druid ones are already out of control.
I don't think that the people are worried about losing a card. They are about losing a key card. They are about a card in the game which is again, nearly useless or fuck your game up. And there is nothing you can do against the outcome. It's kinda like Yogg. You normally play it and you have nothing to lose at all. Both cards are build on malicious joy and that's the fault Blizzard does again and again. They think someones rng joy is worth damaging someone else.

Yeah, devolve a (probably damaged) 8/8 into the same card with elemental tag is of course the reason for inventing a 11 mana card... not.

It's maybe possible to play it as counter for Embrace Darkness.

They said, they will reveal the Death Knights one by one every single day of this week (watch the last video from Blizzard).
