1.Zilliax is a priority craft it's the most versatile card in the game I would recommend crafting him ASAP, he is not a key card as the deck doesn't run mechs except the experimental safe I am trying currently (and it does OK I think). He is really good but the deck can function without him.
Lord Godfrey is one of many AOEs in the deck he is VERY powerful and crushes aggro if they try to develop a board in the mid/late game he isn't a must but very powerful, and really good against token druid.
2. By lackeys you mean rogue? cause I try to play as much proactive as I can mulligan for taunt givers, drakes, ooze, and giants as always a 4 mana 8/8 is good against any deck., play your AOEs efficiently be greedy when you can afford to and don't be afraid to tap even if it's aggro if you play the key taunts at the right time it's better than having 2 more HP.

Hopefully we will see these events more often, like in Magic Arena. They're good alternatives to grinding ranked play. However, they should be separate from the Brawl; people want their weekly dose of jank without having to go full tryhard Standard

Bizarre that people are irate about the lack of dragons when we never heard a similar demand for large numbers of mammoths or ravens. Dragons are big and dramatic; you should only see a couple per set at most, lest they lose their luster. Unless the entire set is based around dragons, of course...

Would be a fantastic sideboard card, if such a thing existed. Otherwise it's a bizarre pack filler card that won't even see play in Arena.

Misdirection: not just a hunter secret. Wait until the actual reveal.

There's nothing "worrying" about that. Magic is currently in its third cycle of Ravnica, one of its most popular settings. The problem isn't repeating themes but providing interesting mechanics and fiction to ground the expansion. And I would say Boomsday and Rastakhan are huge improvements over their predecessors. I would love a revisit of Whispers but it's looking like a Dalaran theme, maybe a prison break or heist?

There's a lot riding on this upcoming expansion. It needs to be of a significant enough power level to enable new deck archetypes and get people excited for the post rotation meta without creating obvious winners. And while I've really enjoyed most of HS' roguelike offerings, Rumble Run veered into a level of oppressive non-interaction that needs to be avoided at all costs

Ben Brode infiltrated the HS server rooms

Man, "can't attack or be attacked" is a really weird rider that favors spell based removal. Really glad they changed it. Also interesting that they had to reiterate upon Shaman and Warrior loa - to the point where the live cards have almost nothing to do with these versions.

Does Arugal also copy minions' cost reduction? I know +1/+1 to all minions in the deck is really good, but this just seems like a huge font of value. Gonna experiment with him, seems like a really powerful value-based inclusion, even if he doesn't reduce their cost (playing a 9 mana Alexstrasza copy and a 1 mana Crowd Roaster is still pretty damn good, for instance)

While more of a payoff for buff decks, she still does quite well as a closer for heal control. Taking out a big dude and healing yourself for a pittance (or entirely free) is just too much for many decks to handle at that point in the game, especially if you can buff her. While not a meta-defining card, Shirvallah enables a lot of really fun Paladin play.
