Maybe they can add a card that synergize with librams, but not necesary a libram. A libram-draw card could be very good because one of the main problems of paladin is draw
In the last rank, try to be quiet and dont' play if you are a little bit tilted because that could bring you to make mistakes. I have reached legend for first time this month and I lost some 'matchball' games but eventually I achieved it.
DHs don't play their one, Mage plays only Reno, Shaman barely plays Hex too, Priest does play Plague but only in Rez, Galakrond does not, Rogue runs only Stunner.
Per hsreplay:
Sap: 4.7% of decks
Stunner: 7%
Reno: 7.5%
Polymorph: 4.6%
Hex: 1.9%
Plague: 8.1%
Comsume Magic: 3%
Zephrys: 24.6%
So, yeah, they are fairly common. I think the prevalence of silence in this meta is at least part of the reason buffs and deathrattles are not very common.
I play a highlander deck and I rarely use it to find a silence. An aoe/big minion removal, a card for lethal or sometimes a threat are most common choices. In fact against small deathrattles mass dispel is not offered, because zeprys don't detect different deathrattles. Opponent can play a teron in a board full of minions but zephyrs not consider a 3/4 as a threat
IMO zephrys is a really interesting card, because prmote highlander decks, giving the opportunity to different cards in a deck. It also needs strategy because you have to know when to play it or not and how to play it. If you don't like HL decks I think DQ is worse, because the result is random and less predictable.
It's not the perfect situation, but sometimes, if I don't have a stealth minion to combo and I need board presence, it could be played alone. Or to put more presure giving face damage to a stealth minion if you feel that you need it and you have nothing better to do. It's not optimal but that could happens in some occasions. (with Greyheart Sage could be the same)
Ashtongue Slayer is not a game-winning card, but it gives you value trades that give you an advantage. It allows to kill big minions with your stealth minions or to start gainning the control of the board versus agro decks . Sometimes it could be the damage that you need to kill the oponent.
I haven't thought about Waxmancy, but it could be an interesting card in the deck (added to posible replacements).
IMO the perfect games are in the middle (more or less 10 minutes). You could interact with your opponent but at the same time you can play more games vs different matchups.
I also hit legend for first time this month and i am in a similar situation. Agro decks are quicker (i have played some games with dragon hunter) but I also prefer control-midrange decks. I loss 3 match balls (I was a bit salty when that happened) but finally I get to legend with a homebrew variation of highlander rogue.
It's true that now you need less games, but it is pleaseant when you reach legend afterall.
I don't understand all the people saying to not dust it. There's a full refund right now! The best option is to dust it period. Obviously if right now you are playing it and you enjoy it, no point to dust it if you know you gonna re craft. But if you have even a slight doubt just dust it.
If the question is: will he see play in future? I think it's never going to be bad, but this is not necessarily enough for him to see play. Rogue has so many good cards, the secret package might not be the best alternative.
OP said that rogue is his favourite class and he is playing highlander. In highlander is still a very good card. The card is not played for its stats but for its effect. That's why IMO he shouldn't DE hanar

Maybe not all classes get an study card.
They have only shown one at the moment.

I don't know exactly how spellburst works. I suppose It only triggers once in order to avoid infinite combos. But it seems an interesting mechanic.
Troublemaker seems strong for control warrior, and shando is very versatile, specially in hunter decks.

I'm glad to see that people like the deck :)

If you don't like to play against decks that generate a lot of cards, quest malygos is good against both rogue and priest
0
It could be interesting. But IMO achievments should be different for the different game modes

A deck that it is very good against any form of priest is quest maly lock, because it could draw its combo easily against slow matchups.
Another option Vs ress priest is rogue. In fact galakrond priest is a bit harder than ress priest playing rogue.
For example I use this deck:
