I think this is how casual mode should be: All card are available to try, but we get no rewards. This would also stop gold farming with super aggro decks in casual.
Insta-squelching is like breathing to me. But the thing that I hate the most, when the game reconnects after a connection problem, you need to squelch again. If you don't do that, "Happy New Year!"
I agree, a test mode would be great but only for free. And to compensate that, there won't be any awards for playing the test mode. You can't earn gold and you can't complete quests. But, If we pay for a subscription, then it would be a completely different game model, not f2p.
why wouldn't it be f2p, even if you didn't pay for test zone mode you'd be able to play Arena, TB casual and ladder, that's pretty much f2p, test mode would just be an option for Paying users
Basically its like saying
5 packs vs ultimated fun
Competitive people (see league of legends) can get all the cards (see league of legends get all champs) and be competitive
Non competitive people can buy a subscription and get to play a more realistic version of what casual should be, an experimental play ground. And once you feel you've really got an idea of how the deck would work or if it works, you can BUY PACKS( blizzard you dumb shits this is such a good money grab) in order to fund the decks you want to build for competitive once you feel you'd be successful with X decks
Yeah but, think of World of Warcraft... Would it be fair, if you pay for the subscription, and then also grind for the gold? If you pay for a subscription, then you should have everything available, that's how I think it should be. Anyway, a test mode with the full collection sounds great, free or not :)

I've been logging my pack openings to pitytimer and it's been almost 200 packs in total. When you look at the statistics, you see that it's always the same percentage. So you may get lucky in a few packs as some people get even 3 legendaries in a single pack, but in the end, it's always the same percentage for everyone.
Picked Amnesiac, and he's secured me two packs so far =D
Actually 3 ;)
How do you figure?
1 for just voting, 2 for winning two group matches, if I'm not mistaken. And then 1 for quarter finals, 1 for semi finals and finally 1 for being the champion, which makes it 6 in total.
Edit: Now that I'm thinking, you probably didn't consider the first pack we get from voting, since everyone gets it automatically. So yeah, he secured us 2 packs :)
I voted Amnesiac too, but where can I keep up with the progress he has made?

I'm an average player, so my opinion may not be valuable, but I find playing control much easier, at least "safer". Because it's the opponent who plays proactively, and I'm reacting to his play by defending myself to survive until late game. Playing aggro feels "wrong" to me (especially face decks). It's like your only option is to go "all in" and pray for good draws. Of course, there is the fact that depending on the meta, it may be harder to win with control decks.
First of all, those new quests made me install the game again, so I can say that we are on the same side. But...
NEVER, ever concede.
I mean, really. For the obvious practical reasons, what if you face all those "cancer" decks in a row? You will concede 10 games without even playing? And what if this becomes a trend? Imagine people always conceding to Shamans (and to be honest, every class can have a "fun" deck, so no need to ban them altogether). Then people would play Shaman even more, just for the possibility of getting free wins.
If you like you're deck, if you're having fun, then most of the time the opponent doesn't matter. Just keep playing and don't concede ;)

Finally an official statement. "Wait for the meta to settle you whining babies" people still here?

Am I just lucky or Scavenging Hyena is really strong? Haven't faced a Mind Blast Priest yet though.

Same here and finally I've completely given up. I don't play ranked either. For me, Hearthstone is a "pack opening game" now :)
