asteroidm posted a message on New Rogue Card Reveal - DoomerangPosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from definitelynotsalty >>Which is the same as not losing the weapon in the first place. "Throwing" the weapon probably refers to the animation only. This spell will not activate weapon deathrattle nor will it reset durability. So therefore strictly worse than Savagery, which benefits from weapon and temporary sources of damage. This spell will not benefit from a burgled Heroic Strike for example. It 100% resets durability. Just like any bounce effects resets health. On topic, I really like this card. Probably in my top five favorites for the set so far. It's so thoroughly roguey. It's actually a tough call on what weapons to run. Perdition's Blade, Obsidian Shard and Shadowblade all seem pretty good but 6 weapons feels like overkill. Hell even Assassins blade looks like it can get some work done with leeching poison.Honestly though, I am beginning to wonder if weapon remove will become even more ubiquitous now with warrior getting a sick DK weapons set up, Paladin also getting a nasty weapon through their DK and this apparent weapons control removal archetype being pushed in rogue. -

Patches the Pirate, obviously.

Guess Polymorph and Hex will be saved on any matchup against Druid until THE big beast is played just to counter Witching Hour.

Should have been a 4/4 or a 3/5, or even a 3/4. Premium stats along with a cost reduction effect looks pretty busted. Will see lots of play in Constructed.

But it doesn't need not to be an elemental, either. And, it being supposedly transformed into something big and covered in moss, it kinda makes sense for it to be an elemental, from a thematical point of view.

Seems like quite a few classes are getting multiple draw cards, which are somewhat undercosted in exchange for specific restrictions, like Roll the Bones for Rouge, Ice Fishing for Shaman, this for Warrior... Then of course we have crazy Ultimate Infestation for Druid, but that's another story.

Add a couple brew masters... and an oponent with a similar deck... and you could go infini- oh never mind, games have a turn limit :P

Would have preferred it to have the opposite effect: have better stats (3/3, say) in exchange for milling you a card. Would have fel-t more Warlock-y.

Cool card, and I'm not saying this only because of the name of the expansion :P

Has decent stats starting at 5/6... but then it's pretty likely you'll have already discarded her. If there were non-random discard effects, then this card could (only "could") be somewhat playable, but it's not, and the "lifesteal" keyword is irrelevant.

I think it's only useful when you're in or approaching the topdeck mode.
Low-cost cards have the most power/cost efficiency, and sometimes you'll want to play a 1-drop alongside your 7-drop plus hero power, or two 3-drops and a 4-drop, because that's what will give you the best result or the biggest swing on the field. With Hemet, you're denying yourself a lot of versatility when playing cards in exchange for the assurance of being able to draw at least a 4-drop every time. I don't think it's worth it, except, as I said in the beginning, if you have very few cards in your hand.
