Zoo kills it. So many bananas and cheeky plays with swapping health/attack. Oh and don't call doggies when your opponent has 5 minions, or you'll have too many nanas and burn all your cards.

The deck beats aggro 90% of the time without a doubt, but in the last 24hrs I've seen a lot of control on the ladder. I took out Cabal, 1 SW: Death and the Thoughtsteal (or - Thalnos - Alex + Rag) and added + 2 Divine Spirit and + 1 Inner Fire. I know it's a cheesy combo but it can be a OTK and helps against the control decks where otherwise the deck lacks finishers. I even used it on a Northshire Cleric to great benefit. So far it's working well, but I'll have to keep trying.

does anyone have any experience using abomination?

I've been playing 2 of them today and it is a good pick imo. Still having difficulty with the deck however. I have a lot of close games, especially against other control decks, and they beat me more often than not when we're both fatigued and they pull out legendaries. I'm currently playing Rag and Thoughtsteal instead of Alex and Thalnos as I don't have them, but I think some tweaking still needs to be done. Priest is definitely viable in the competitive scene however, as I've still had success at my current rank 3.

Nice guide mate. I look forward to seeing more of these! I've been playing around with Priest lately as well so this gives me some food for thought.

For those that run Faerie Dragons, can you explain the choice and how they've been useful? Never seen them in zoo before and am curious how it fits.

For me they take up the slot of Amani Berserker. Most of the time the Amani is targeted to hit for 3, and I don't get the full use out of it. The Faerie Dragon on the other hand is much more survivable, and has a constant 3 damage. It's guaranteed board presence unless they summon minions to kill it.

Looks good but you will have a lot of difficulty early game.

    How so?

Harvest Golem, and Wrath provide a decent enough bubble.

Not to mention hero power and innervate.

Perhaps Loot Hoarders in replacement of earthen ring and argent commander? (or maybe 1 claw somewhere)

I guess my idea with this is to cut all the extraneous crap and have efficient, safe, and consistent plays throughout every turn.

While ramp and token are in i feel like token is too gimmicky at times and ramp too inconsistent (you're not always going to draw wild growth).

Undoubtedly that's also in relation to my shitty skill but I guess I wanted to just "forget" builds and try to adapt and think about the kind of opponents I'm playing against.

The lack of low cost minions means you have zero board presence at the beginning of the game. If you don't draw a Swipe or Starfall then aggro decks will be all over you. The taunts are nice, and if you can last til late game I'm sure you will be fine, however you may also take too much damage and have your opponent top-deck a card to deal lethal. While I like the high mana curve, it also means that you cannot play many cards at a time, especially early, even with the addition of Innervate. This highly limits your options and will make the aggro decks difficult to play against.

posted a message on murlock deck challenge!!

Yeah do not try this in the actual game. I chose a Murloc Warleader as my first pick as a mage earlier today (the other two were rubbish anyway), and hoped for some murlocs to go for a rush deck. I saw ONE in the next 29 picks, and that was a Bluegill Warrior :S

Of course, here it is. I think it's a pretty standard zoo, at this moment I'm testing blood knight. Please let me know your thoughts on the list for the current meta. :)

Btw, what do you mean with "focus everything for a push"? Should I hit the handlock down 15HP even if I can't kill him? It happens almost every match I put him at 13/15, then he soulfires/hellfires/mortalcoil/whatever and then I can't set up lethal with my board+hand... should I try to set up again lethal without hitting him? or hit as hard as I can...

I'm very curious about one thing you said: "play some games in mornings". Why? :P

    Thanks for the reply!!!

Yeah pretty standard zoo. I've been running the Blood Knight and he dominates the mirror and paladin match-ups. I'd suggest putting Faerie Dragon in there to counter the removal heavy meta that is rogue/shaman right now. I'd take out the imps or perhaps 1 Amani and 1 Priestess. Honestly when I play against Handlock I just go all at it. If they throw their taunts up, hit them hard and force them to play more. I can topdeck an Argent, Doomguard or Soulfire and finish them off anyway, so get them as low as possible. I might hesitate on turn 4-5 to stop the molten drop, but otherwise show no mercy!

Interesting with the Questing Adventurer. It's always been a strong card. I imagine it has a hard time against Shaman. He also needs the buffs or he isn't worth the cost. Might give it a shot once I grab more dust!

Honestly I've been thinking the same for a while now, just haven't tried it. It can also help turn the tides against a control when they throw some taunts up. Would work well with a doomguard/argent. Hit for the charge then destroy it.

I haven't played ladder in the last couple of days but I beat other Warlock's 90% of the time (either zoo or hand). Just have to play aggressively and force them to make the trades.

The combo effect occurs 100% if they played a card beforehand. Not unlucky, that's just how the cards work :)
