    Quote from moonsorrow999 >>

Aggro... play aggressively. Honestly people just play the match up wrong mostly. Sometimes the Mage draws well but I go up against people who make really defensive plays, shuffle jade idols etc it's like what are you doing. People will trade into the 1/1s and such it's just so dumb. I had a win rate of 53% as jade Druid vs quest Mage which isn't bad for a matchup some say is impossible. But then again I had 72% win rate vs jade Druid as quest Mage. People tend to just be fairly bad at piloting decks and making poor decisions based on the match up, those people usually then come on here to talk about cancer and other life threatening diseases.

Who said jade druid vs quest mage was impossible?
If played correctly pre-nerf it was about even, perhaps even with the druid as a slight favorite.

    Steal an iceblock?

Thought that was the standard priest play.

Other than that your best bet is coldlight oracle. You don't want to play it, your loss.

posted a message on dominant decks in the meta post nerf?
    Quote from TheScot >>

The meta is a lot more diverse now. I thought Razakus priest was taking over, but now I haven't seen any in a while. Then again, maybe they all ranked up past me. Side note: most hunter decks currently on the ladder are not aggro decks. And I wish I could afford Keleseth rogue, cause that deck looks crazy fun, and is NOT a faceroll deck like the old pirate warrior was. But I'm personally having tons of fun with DK Rexxar.

Meh, tempo rogue is pretty much exactly a faceroll deck like pirate warrior was. It's just curvestone in a new shiny wrapper. You fight a bit better for board early, you tempo-swing harder a couple of turns later. Then you exploit that bonemare is pretty broken.
I don't mind it or anything, it's a cool enough deck - but glorifying it is just silly.

Anything that can make good use of bonemare should be decent.

posted a message on Building Control Warrior after Axe Nerf

We went from being best vs aggro to "can't do shit vs aggro".

And we were left behind in the value race 4 expansions ago.

    CW is dead.

Which is just as well, I hope the warrior class never recovers. They're only pushing useless tempo shit (pirates, dragons, enrage) on it. My favorite class by far, and therefore I hope it never sees the light of day as something viable again - since it's clear Blizzard's only vision for warrior is curvestone, curvestone, curvestone. They should just RM all the files and give us something new.

posted a message on Where'd all the people whining about PRIESTONE PRIESTONE PRIESTONE go???

I never complained about prieststone and I never predicted it. In fact I both thought and stated that priest has too many weaknesses to ever completely dominate a meta (in standard).  As have many, many others on this site also stated.

What I have predicted (and what I am still predicting) is that druid will remain very strong, and I'm sure jade will climb back to the top decks when we see a refined post-nerf list, but I think there will be room for more decks beside it.

And let's just get it out of the way... you are clearly exaggerating the numbers and you look silly as a result. If you're going to make a thread complaining about "the people" and "zomg, all the sheeple are so stupid" and "I'm supersmart so I can complain about the herd as much as I want" - you should really, really, really, really strive to be precise.

In short, crawl back under your bridge.

posted a message on Exodia mage or mill warrior

Mill warrior is really a pure meta-deck... it can shine in refined metas like top legend ladder, but for climbing it is abysmal. If all you want to do is play, then yeah... it can be fun, but it will be taxing to play without tilting in a more varied meta.

Exodia mage is pretty decent I'd say, fun to play and I'd say more decent for some casual laddering.

Jade druid is stronger because the counter decks were nerfed. No need for Spreading Plague because the aggro decks that were able to beat jade are now nerfed. The only opposition to jade now is jade (lol) or priest. So the obvious choice would be to replace the 4 cards with some big drops. Grab your coffee because this is going to be a slow ResidentSleeper meta.

I don't recall Hunter getting nerfed
I don't recall seeing a hunter for months now.
And what exactly is wrong with slower metas?  (also please keep the twitch meme bullshit in Twitch k?)
Jade's may be a problem still but the good thing is that jade and highlander decks will cycle in approximately 5 months, they aren't going to nerf either of them at this point.
The reason Big Priest is a think is cause you literally need a RNG based highroll deck like that to compete against Jades.  Honestly Big Priest was a unique and interesting take on countering jade druid that didn't involve using Geist, or playing a faceroll aggro deck.  People are so quick to just fall back to the easiest course of action when they come across a deck that gives them problems.
"Uh Oh, Druid control is meta? Better play my hyper aggro warrior or murloc deck because i have no innovation".  Whomever actually first came up with Big Priest I have to give major props to for being innovative rather then falling back upon an aggro deck because they had no imagination whatsoever.
Also, deathstalker mid-range rexxar is like 20% of my games.  I'm sure rexxar will be more popular after today's nerfs as well.
     What "control meta"?
Jade druid isn't control, razapriest is more combo than anything else.
I certainly hope hunter decks will see an uptick, because by now they're among the few decks where your decisions have meaningful impacts on the game as opposed to just barely nudging the winrates, with control mage and control warlock also getting honorable mentions.

posted a message on Razakus Priests lose to aggro

They're not helpless vs aggro, but they're certainly not particularly good.

Which is good, a deck as strong as that in the endgame versus a wide field shouldn't be.

posted a message on Ladder right now

I did a F2P account to grind for Morgle a few days go, which took me about 5 hours, with tutorials, class unlocks and one arena run.

I reached rank 15 (EU standard) and had an overall winrate close to 70% on ladder. Of meta-decks I met big priest, pirate warrior, jade druid and evolve shamans (though I can't say for certain if these decks didn't miss key cards). But people generally did such basic mistakes that it wasn't very hard.

I played "tempo" mage (portals from Karazan intro, crafted mirror entity, counterspell and 2 arcanealogists... roc from pack and boulderfist for threats), which worked just fine.

I can see that a new player might struggle a bit, but a) I'm very far from an expert and b) It's doable with some effort

I don't think rank 10 should be very hard at all if your put your mind to it as F2P pretty quick, which I'd say is pretty decent. Above that and it is fair that you have to focus more on collecting and building competitive decks.

Because I play games to collect and progress, once that's done, there's almost no purpose for me to play it
So for you it's more fun to be constricted on what you can play with/try/experiment/meme than having the change to play whatever you want once you unlock all the cards? Lol to each his own i guess.
It seems you play ccgs to grind (isn't just more fun to do it on a mmorpg instead?), i play it to enjoy the cards.
Don't mean to be rude, but it can't possibly be surprising to you that CCGs draw people who like to collect?

posted a message on Blizzard needs to get rid of emotes!
    Quote from MikeDean >>

HERE IS A POLL, KEEP EMOTES OR GET RID OF EMOTES.

Call me thin skinned, SALTY AS **** or a crybaby  I could care less, all I know is I am not buying another pack of cards until Blizzard gets rid of emotes or at least puts a squelch option for permanent.

It does not bother me when I am at rank 2-3 and my opponent makes an intelligent decision that wins him/her the match. But when you're facing some knob gobbler at scrubby & noobish rank 10 and they are emoting you left & right with "well played" and all the other non-sense because they noobed out on RNG, nothing is more irritating...

Surely they must realize that ( I certainly do ) at rank 10 they are **** at this game. With the exception of stragglers who just starting ranking of course, do these people have no shame? The most irritating are the Jade Druids, as they obviously should be at legend with such a ****** deck, but when Druids luck out and emote "well played "" I wanna puke.

     Druids don't luck out, dude.
They just draw their entire deck.
