    posted a message on Share Your Fractured in Alterac Valley Pack Opening Screenshots & Results!

    I have done multiple PO for the last couple years but I almost didn't this time.  I think the quest meta really soured me on this game a lot and I still think it needs to be addressed.  That being said, I did PO both bundles last night and my results today were by faaarrr the best packs I  have ever had in an expansion.  I always keep track of my drop rates on launch day.  I have never had luck remotely close to this, its a bit silly.   I have had terrible luck on some expansion's I suppose this offsets that.

    I opened 144 packs and 5 golden packs  The number shows what pack number.  On 3 occasions I got 2 legends in a single pack:

    100 coins for a dupe on our pre order bundles?  How about you give me the 2 legendary minions I'm missing instead of the 200 coins?  I honestly can't even believe dupes made it in to this mode years after they striped them away from HS.  I was completely dumbfounded when I opened a normal Diablo instead of a missing merc.  In 2021 how is it possible this was  something that seemed OK to this company?  On top of that the people that did get dupes are the ones spending huge chunks of money on the bundles.

    What a joke.  

    Those that spent money early on it to support blizzard are the ones that will suffer the most.  Its nice for them to add dupe protection no going forward on bundles and to try and right that wrong but most of us already looted the same merc we paid for.  100 coins to just not a great apology.  We are missing the merc we would have looted had we held those packs till after nov 16th.  Lesson learned I suppose.  Last time I will support blizzard blindly.  Its my own fault. I trusted that the rules they set in place for this 7 year old game would apply to packs in a new mode.  Silly me.   No dupe protection or maxed coin protection is a slap in the face and the biggest issue for the economy of this mode and it isn't even addressed here.    I wont be playing it much going forward and the sad part is even if I wanted to I would still have to hold all packs for weeks  to open because the fix for me happening to loot normal Arthas isn't in yet.    BTW the patch notes dont even say they are adding in the Sylvanas normal card for those golden bundle purchasers.  Just that they are doing it for the other 2 bundles  (Arthas and Diablo).... /SMH at this company.

     

    I wanted to like this mode but its still being baked.    They say its bland looking because Its made for cell phones but without a mod like deck tracker the pvp is next to impossible to play.  There is no info on abilities your opponents mercs even have or what's at what speed after all the casts.  Or the quality of life things like tracking missions.  How is it possible blizz can work on this for years and deck tracker fixes the worst parts of it in a week.

    Maybe, just maybe... Hear me out here.... Maybe try level 30. Yes you shouldn't make any progress by farming low level stuff. You are supposed to grind bounties that are the same level as your party. See you later, you'll be back.

    Look how much time it takes in World of Warcraft to reach max level just by killing low level mobs.

    It sounds like you might not be familiar with the mode.  This isn't really a change that makes the game better.  The game is really about getting past gating time consuming things so you can use teams and items in pvp later. Or even if you want to only pve this change still only makes getting those things you want take maybe 20 times longer. If the systems were set up differently in how you get quests or getting a quest was guaranteed at the highest level content I would agree with you. But its still a 1 in 4 roll for a 1 in 6 roll in your party. 

    Pvp is entirely gated behind the heroes and the gear your characters have. So the answer is to now grind faaarrrr more time to get those chances at random quests showing up. Do you know why people started farming low level bounties? Because we all were playing the game normally and appropriate level and the quests rarely show up. It's a 25% chance. Which means you can play a normal heroic bounty with a fresh lvl 30 team and spend 15 minutes for a 25 % chance at a random chance at a multi part quest. It might not even offer you the quest for the character you want since it's random.  So it works out to once per hour to get a 1 in 6 roll for the character you might want the most. Then that reward needs to be repeated another 6 times. 

    It already took hours and hours of luck to get the right quests for the right characters doing low level content. 

    This change completely removes casual players from ever seeing level 7 items. It just does.

    Its out for sure and its terrible.  I tried lvl 8 for over and hour and got no quest offers.

    I then tried rank 25 for 5 runs.  No offers.

    Rank 28 for 4 runs No offers.

    2 hours of farming for gear with a comp thats slow at farming but has the characters I want gear for and not a single quest.  

    Typical Blizzard.  Makes a change that over corrects and makes the game worthless.  Is it really intentional in this mode to play a game for 2 hours making zero progress?  The point of a shi#$y grind is that you grind for progress.  This mode wasn't ready for release.  I'm out.

    Just died to druid in wild on turn 8.  Same combo....... They just put innervate in the deck now.  Way to nerf the wrong card Blizz.  Aviana wasn't the issue.

    Can we also get a nerf to Druids life gain??  Its the one class that can beat all control decks while gaining enough life and spreading plague, DK taunts to survive heavy aggro decks too.  They have the ability to extend the game, draw faster and ramp to powerful cards.


    Ramp should be what druids are good at.  They have so much life gain now that their arent even hard decisions to make in most games.  Ramp to 10 gain life and stall with life gain and cheap taunts, draw cards, play combo.

    You pulled a legend every 12 packs that is crazy good.  The normal ratio is 1 in 20ish.  Not to mention you got another one so soon again from your arena pack.

    The rank floors at 5 10 15 are the best change they have made to HS since it went Live imo.  It does allow people to play fun decks after reaching a checkpoint.  I started this season at 7 and then decided I would play a goofy dragon mage deck.  I slid back without a care and then jumped back up to 5 when i wanted to play something more serious.

    Congrats on your climb.

    I've been rank 1-2 for a little over a week now.  I keep hitting these loss streaks where i play 4 people in a row with the nuts draws.  I was planning on hitting legend but i just dont know if I have it in me now...
