• The ladder system rewards faster decks. Even when slower decks have higher win rates, the difference isn't enough to offset the game time to play.
• Faster decks have traditionally been less expensive.
• Slower decks have often introduced more randomness - it doesn't feel good to play a long game and essentially lose because of an Elise pack card. Many players prefer to win with cards they included within their deck and lose to cards their opponent included, rather than RNG effects. 
• Anti-control decks have historically been the most polarizing and frustrating to lose against - quest Mage, quest Rogue, Jade, mill decks.
• Hearthstone is a mobile game and has relatively straightforward rules with small deck sizes.  It wasn't designed to be played like an hour-long tabletop CCG.

First four seasons (in particular the fourth) were fantastic.  Fifth was quite bad, last two have been a bit better.  Overall, I'll probably just never get over the botching of Stannis.  Could probably put together a list of 50 grievances between things they did incorrectly or critical points/quotes from the books that were not delivered.  And the shocking deaths of the early seasons turning into "let's butcher as many characters as we can to have enough budget for next season" also got old. 

Thanks to those who had to continually bitch about aggro even when it was barely a thing.  Now you can play one of four classes that just bump their 3/9, 1/5, and 2/4 taunts up against each other for 45 minutes every game.  

It should be put out to grass for good.  The lack of counterplay and the polarization are just way too high to be healthy.  I'd put it at the top with Spiteful on the nerf priority list.

Quest Rogue ruining the game, a year on.    Just watch, as they were too stupid to nerf Patches, Raza, and Warlock at the right time despite every single person seeing the oversight, they're going to nerf Warlock, Spiteful, and Call to Arms, making the game full of Quest Rogue and unplayable until the September nerfs.

Hearthstone would have to be doing poorly for its leadership to be forced out.  It is not.  The execs at ATVI who would make that decision have no idea what a Shudderwock is, nor do they care to know.

People who complain about the cost of the game...get back to me when any interesting new cards can be used.  Playable meta:

-Cubelock that contain like 2 new cards (existed for 5 months already)

-Spiteful decks that contain like 2 new cards (existed for 5 months already)

-785 "different" peasant token decks

Lol, some people apparently have higher standards than "lol itz 4 free". Like, idk, Starcraft 2 is for free, Dota 2 is for free, Fortnite and other shits are also f2p. Why should i praise HS for that?

 On that note, it was actually a positive to me to find out that Artifact wouldn't be free.

 

 You think Artifact players won't be bitching as much as people do here? Because its not F2P?
