7 mana 5/5 draw 5 cards.... Why was Ancient of Lore nerfed again?

I was just opening a pack at the end of my arena run and looked at the 50 ungoro packs from the preorder just sitting there....the tag on the bundle read "coming in MID-APRIL". Maybe I missed it before, but did it always say that? The original announcement said early April didn't it?

Clarification, regarding Cannibalistic Wendigo, what does "2 turns" mean?  Does that mean through your next turn?

Is it me, or does Chimera feel far better than Protector of Un'goro?  I get that the 3 random beasts could totally bust...boar, Jeweled scarab etc, but looking at all beasts there are 9/10 beasts that look strictly worse than a raptor and far more that are somewhere between better and MUCH better.  The upside of Chimera feels way better and you can run 2.

Alexstraza I think would be potentially on the list.  

I think i might've gone with cult apothecary. Your late game is so good that just being able to stall a bit in the mid-game to get there might actually be useful.  Getting netherspite and the dragon on turn 1/2 feels like a much bigger leap. But who knows!  Good luck!  Hope it works out!

Your late game is obviously insane, but people are right that early isn't great.  I think how this deck ultimately goes might hinge on if ethereal conjurer offers you AoEs with any consistency.   you may need the come back.   

I gotta ask, what was the draft situation where you drafted netherspite historian and jormunger?  Those are the two cards that look really out of place.

This may be a far fetched idea, but what if they don't want priest to be a top tier deck?

 Traditionally,  priest lends itself to a heavily control play style.   If they ever gave priest the early game to go along with its later game control tools it could dominate...and then you'd regularly have games taking 20-30 minutes.  Perhaps that's not a ladder experience they want players to have (thank you!).  And,  maybe,  they've not landed on a way that works flavor-wise in terms of building a shadow/aggro priest....

End result,  priest remains this niche control class that people are forever chasing the unicorn with

Generally I will end the game as quickly as possible.   My feeling is that all of us have probably played hundreds if not thousands of games and have probably won at least some of them.   Each individual win is pretty meaningless...let's get it over with and move on to the next one. 

The one exception for me is people who rope when the game is over just to waste time.  This pisses me off to no end.  This is true regardless of whether you or I have lethal on board.   I'll let my opponent take their lethal,  but if they just sit their to let their glory last...I have no time.   If I am the one with lethal on board and my opponent ropes,  I've definitely pushed my opponent to 1 and then roped myself just out of spite. 

What does that mean?  This isn't like the boss fight where it gives a random minion that costs one more...it's the same mana cost.  

I think there are decks that will run this.  Some sort of attrition/hyper control priest I think runs this.  It certainly doesn't fit in every deck.  Whether such a deck is viable without lightbomb or whatever remains to be seen.  Way better than the Mage forbidden card...

I've never thought about it, but what is the interaction between spellbender and shadowflame?  I assume it's a 1-damage aoe, but to which side of the  board?
