sequencing may make this card not as good as it may seem, but thats a very minior asterix to a very needed hard removal for priest. With Psychic Scream gone (thank you), Priests will only have Mass Hysteria and the Shadow Words for removal again. While this isnt a big board remover, giving a pretty flexible hard removal is great, big health minions beware.
not as good as it seems due to it being the worst topdeck in history when you are losing (typically when a "damage all" effect is good). The lack of overload makes it still a contender in a more controlly deck, a controlly board clear that shaman will need with Volcano rotating, getting it off Hagatha effects isnt too bad either. But generated cards are always more valuable than deckbuilt cards.
with Fire Fly gone, minions that generate minions will be in demand for rogue, Is it as good as Fire Fly? no. Are the cards you get out of it better than Flame Elemental, yes.

I'm seeing an oceans 11 style heist expansion with all the recent original hearthstone villians. A real rogues gallery.
"Villians of Violet hold" sounds right with the naming conventions. Maybe to break out rafaam (captured by the LoE) to lead into a ulduar/archeology expansion to recapture him.
how do you know druid won't come back from the new expansions ? you work for blizzard OP ?
With savage roar preventing blizzard from going too hard into the token aggro ache, and no other viable archetype support remaining coming rotation, it will be a tall order for Druid to find a new powerful identity with only nine new class cards. Maybe by end of year we might have something.
I have all the cards in the game and I only play aggro (or at the very least most of the time) when I climb the ladder.
Why ? Because I want to get through the ranks as fast as possible, aggro allows me to finish the games very quickly, in an hour I can probably play twice as many games playing aggro as I would playing control.
I enjoy aggro vs aggro much more than aggro vs control or control vs control. Unless I play vs friends.
Whenever I queue up against priest or odd warrior I'm mad because I am wasting time since the games last longer.

There isnt much unique flavor to them so far, I get that. I believe they are doing it to not completely spoil the theme while reusing some animatics.
Im sure the full announcement will be back to the normal "drenched in theme" business.

since there are no unique cards earned from this (sans the gimmick card at the end) and you just get packs, you are just paying for the experience.
There's no reason to pay for it if you dont want said experience.
