You could look at it like that, but i would rather have the hope of drawing the right card even though they are at the bottom, than knowing, nope you chose to discard those card, for another card that saved your as that turn :D
It is not the challenger that is my problem, because i know it is coming, and play around it. The problem is the follow up. I find it hard to keep the board with this deck, and then it falls flat on its ass. But ofc. i am not a legend player and i tend to misplay, and that is lethal if the opponent have a decent curve.
I Have tried to do what you suggested, and i am now 3-15. It might be a decent matchup if you know how to play the game in the top tiers. But top tier players can play most matchups even unfavored at around 50/50+ if the deck is good. And i se no reason not to call it a good deck, bc. i am still above 55% winrate. often at 60%+
And how do you deny them the board? you have almost no early game. that can stick on the board. Muster and they have the board, and most of the time you cant do shit against them, unless you are lucky and draw a ET. UTH is not worth much because it doesn't leave a board for you, and the pala can fast snowball out new minions. I might be a bit to defensive in playstyle, but it works against every other class. Pala is the only class i have negative winrate against.
Well there is only so many different decks that can be made, and only a few of those are actually good. A good guide and some tech choices that match the meta, and the upvotes are coming in :D
I can simply not win against paladin with this deck, i am 1-7 against them, and type don't matter. I have tried different tacs, none works. rank 10 atm, because of all the palas. I am at 44 game played in total 59% winrate.
Edit I have read the guide, and to be honest that is pretty arrogant written, and can not be transited to the gameplay, Because it req. to draw perfectly, and lets be honest, no one draw perfectly, so the race is already lost 90% of the times.
And what are they going to use that 8 cards to at turn 6? If you spit out chow against a control deck, you ask for losing. You dont want to give them 5 health at any point. And you should know they have brawl, so you play around it.
Divine favor is not important in a control matchup. Reason is simple, against control you want to kill them fast before they get their end game. You can get several 3/3+ out before turn 7. And they are hard to remove, when you think you also have a tons of annoying late game in this deck.
Doomhammer dont really work that well at board control, it only remove minor minions, and when you are about to get DH out, they begin to throw out the big arsenal, and then DH is useless, unless you want to take 8-10 damage to the face. And spells is finishers. You use them on board in the later game, you lost, because your minion dont have the required damage.
I am sorry but what decks does this one counter in the meta? Face shaman, dead before turn 6, no patrons. Secret pala Dead at turn 8. patrons dont matter at all. Druide, Dead turn 9, patrons have very little effect. Mage might be favored, but only if they don't know what to do. Warlock zoo or reno, patrons is just ignored, or killed in 1000 horrible ways. Haven't met any priestess, in 20 games i have played. face hunters dead before turn 6, midrange hunters is slightly favored, but still not countered. rogue have a lot of aoe.
Sure if you get a perfect hand then yes you can win, but it is a lot of RNG, or else you are easily countered.
I think it is first time anyone saying that DR. Balanced the best 7 drop in game, is told to be too slow.... 3 minions on board, 2 1/1 DR and a 7/7 for 7 mana, and it is told to be too slow? Sure it is not a charge, but at 7 mana plus a charge minion have very little effekt.

I was thinking in the line of Flare, it can do good in several situations, but you dont get to pick your card.

Sorry my friend they don't get back into your deck, try take a look at your deck size after you play tracking.

Why tracking? that card can suck so hard. Remember it discard the other 2 you dont pick, and with this deck it often means losing an important card.

You use Finley to get more draw, Warlocks HP is considered the best in game, even for aggro decks.

Cannot be replaced. It is one of the essential warrior cards.
