Yeah, this game is dead. The developers don't seem to care 'bout anything other than aggro.

Guidance is in fact a card with overload, so by the wording Unbound Elemental should trigger. But that just one of M A N Y bad wordings and oversights from these useless developers :)

Nothing changed. 10 games, 7 Paladins. This game is utterly boring and predictable right now. I'm done till the next expansion hits.
The next expansion will be the same, with other decks. Team 5 are incapable of making a diverse meta where aggro, control and combo all are viable. Why? Because they keep giving aggro card draw

They need to nerf more because they know that the cards they are printing are to strong, and they don't vare because strong cards means more People buying packs.
The game will never be good again.

The OP touches ever so lightly on the real culprit in how HS "tricks" players. At its core, HS is basicallt the card game "War". Where if u plsay a 4, then I play a 5 and win that hand. This goes on till one guy has all the cards.
That would get boring pretty quick wouldnt it? So, Blizzard adds lights, cloors, sound efffects and familiar characters to the game of "War"
But thats still not enough to keep people playing and coming back for more. So they purposely built the game to keep winrates as close to 50% as possible, so every player gets the experience of beating down an opponent by turn 5.
This game is designed to obfuscate the fact that luck of the draw and powere level of the cards, are what determine who wins. NOT SKILL BUT LUCK AND SHEER POWER LEVEL.
Of course there are still basic skills needed to play HS, but nothinnmore than basic addition and subtration, as well as knowing your outs and what % that is. Afterthat, the skill level dissapears and its really about whats the powere level of the deck your playing.
This is how they trick us. Watch a GM tourney any weekend and listen to the casters try and present basic addition into some grand level of skill!! lol I know that their job,I get it. But does anyone else?
Another "trick" Blizzard uses is golden cars, Legendaries etc...all which give little dopamine hits when played or opened in a pack. All these little ways to trick us into believing our skill is what matters, and tricking our brains into needing that dopamine hit over and over again.
without these tools, HS would be a lame boring ass game. But throw some real psychologyb into the game design, make it as addicting as possible, and obfuscate the fsct its mostly luck not skill, and voila! you have a money making engine ypu can rely on.
If the game is so simple then surely you're getting to top 10 legend every month, right?
Or is Blizzard rigging matchups against you, so there's no way to get past Gold or lower? Which is it?
I hate that argument. Top legend is a matter of grind, nothing else.

People that pretends this game is not rigged x) You either win every game or lose every game. There is no in between. Yesterday I won 15 matches in a row, today I've lost 10. The deck does not matter, it's all determined when the game starts :) It's embarassing that people actually pretends to compete in this game.

I mean, it was pretty obvious that the nerf wouldn't do anything. DoL needs to transform into cards that costs like... 1 more and refreshing Spring Water needs to restore only 2 mana or something.

I like the idea of the 2 mana 2/3s - giving them extra stats/value to try and push them into competitive territory. I mean, 3 mana 2/3 draw a specific card is probably about the right costing (keeping in mind that 2 mana card draw usually has limitiations, like Prize Vendor having mirror draw).
So we essentially have a 3 mana 2/3 draw 2 (so Arcane Intellect in shaman with an extra body), 3 mana 4/5 in stats draw a card, and pseudo-1 mana 2/3 draw a card. Also keep in mind that these are all specific draws - while that can occasionally result in downside (if it's so late that you've drawn all the relevant cards), often it's more likely to be upside (drawing something specific that you may need).
Competitive play has made me wary of overvaluing cards, and they don't strike me as OP enough for competitive play - but they're good cards in a vacuum.

This post seems like a desperate one @Harthbone
Nobody plays Duels. The RNG is even worse than Standard Mode itself. And that’s just the tip of the Ice berg with what’s wrong with the format.
How about a post that actually matters fellas? Wanna write about Team 5, Deck of Lunacy, librams.. etc.?
Game stats, class stats, win rates... are we having trouble finding topics?

The only good change was the Tower ones imo. It seemed obvious to lower their health.
Deck of Lunacy will likely be about the same... it's power wasn't in being cast on turn 1 or 2; as the card, itself, is a delayed effect card. The sword is still ridiculous value; but perhaps 2 charges will bring it in line.

I think they will just go to wild. Because new ones have different names/titles. And old ones should be in the classic mode as well

Shouldn't players be compensated for all those nerfs? Most of us spent too much dust for the most important cards that have already been double(!) nerfed. It's Blizzard's fault for making DH overpowered , not ours.

I am a Wild player. Everyone who plays Wild, including all Wild Streamers agree that the format is in the best shape ever.
These nerfs basically completely eliminate Galakrond from Wild forever.
They also hurt Highlander and Pirate decks a lot.
Due to the fact that Brann Bronzebeard and Zola existin Wild, getting another Alexstrasza from Alexstrasza was not unlikely.
Ancharr hardly justifies it's legendary status anymore.
This update is a big f. u. in the face of all Wild Players! And just because some Standard players were a little impatient!
Isn't the Galakrond's awakening adventure coming with 35 new cards? At least that's what various articles tell me.
That would change up the meta anyways! Where's the announcement for that?
