Meaning even if you play control decks you won't be up against the card nearly as often.
That being said, if you are playing a slower deck that plays for attrition and run into this matchup, the counter-play measures are still too limited.
It should have stayed at 4 mana and been changed to lifesteal, deal 10 damage to the enemy hero. This would keep the decks losing matchups against aggro where they are, but help opposing control decks by allowing the ability to prevent leathals though healing or armor.

It feels that the only way for Dev team to make any board-based archetype competitive is by giving mana cheating/reduction.. Mech Mage, Mech Paladin, Naga Priest, Control Warrior, DH, Beast Hunter, Big Spell Mage, Murloc Shaman, Thief Rogue, ... and this makes me realize that Warlock is bad right now because it doesn't have many mana reduction cards like it used to in 2021...

I mean, 3 mana 2/3 draw a specific card is probably about the right costing (keeping in mind that 2 mana card draw usually has limitiations, like Prize Vendor having mirror draw).
So we essentially have a 3 mana 2/3 draw 2 (so Arcane Intellect in shaman with an extra body), 3 mana 4/5 in stats draw a card, and pseudo-1 mana 2/3 draw a card. Also keep in mind that these are all specific draws - while that can occasionally result in downside (if it's so late that you've drawn all the relevant cards), often it's more likely to be upside (drawing something specific that you may need).
Competitive play has made me wary of overvaluing cards, and they don't strike me as OP enough for competitive play - but they're good cards in a vacuum.

Are you ever gonna learn that buffs is a bad thing? It creates future problems where you ALWAYS need to keep up and printing better and better cards until the game is that unplayable mess that it is today

It is insane that they never learn that mana cheat is bad for the game. Every set is full of these cards....

It is amazing that after all this time they still haven't fixed that the game constantly freezes. Happens on every computer and I have zero problems with ANY other game. Been like this for.... 4 years now? Do they even have game developers?

Always sad when people argues that fun = high winrate. Just stick to netdecking the top performing deck from hsreplay dudez and let people who plays for actually fun things to happen have fun.

The best nerf they could do is closing the game, becuase they have ZERO clue how to balance things and their way to try and fix things is to create even more broken stuff.

So there are 0 unique and creative cards this expansion. These designers are so freaking bad. The only thing they can do is take an old card and make it more broken.

Yeah, and the ones from the beginning have been nerfed. See the problem with them yet? It was not as much of a problem when classes has an identity. But now, when every class can draw infinite cards and have infinite removal it is a major problem, and that's why mana cheat keeps breaking the game expansion after expansion.
In other card games, like for example magic the gathering, green is the ramp colour, and because of that they have some other major weaknesses. In hearthstone every class does everything.
What I play does not matter. It does not change the fact that mana cheat breaks the game expansion after expansion. It does not change the fact that they need to nerf cards with mana cheat over and over. I rarely even play constructed anymore, lesser and lesser for every expansion because of the power creep that is slowly killing the game. When I do I am playing the same broken shit as everyone else. Just because I destroy people with Zilliax Rogue It's not a fun game. A game is fun when It's fun with fun mechanics, not when I win the most.

Was hoping they would take away the stupid mana cheat but I guess they still haven't figured out that mana cheat is ALWAYS bad for the game.
