What about Bloodreaver Gul'Dan? I'm 10/13 so far and didn't play him a single time. Guldan Deathknight did great work for me a few months ago but in this deck he seems a bit lackluster.

The decks I lost against I lost before turn 10. (1 Hunter 1 Pala and 1 Malyrogue who got very lucky) the decks he is good against are Spell Hunter, Ele Mage and Mechwarrior. Against all of those decks you are in a pretty bad spot if you fall behind in mid to late game and due to lack of demons Bloodreaver Gul'dan won't change it.

Ele Mage can deal with 4 health minions easily and will easily outheal. Ele Mage can die to earl,  game pressure, an ignored Mosh'Ogg and lucky punches by Marin and Arthas. BR Gul'Dan possibly, but less likely.

Spell Hunter will probably find enough lifesteal to outlast BR Gul'dan so if we can't land a final punch we will die to fatigue soon.

Mech Hunter is just hopeless if we are behind mid to late.

Against any Combo Deck (e.g. Galley Priest, OTK Pala) BR Gul'Dan is just too slow.

What am I missing? Or if not, what can I switch BR Gul'dan for? I guess the 2 and 4 drops that are 1 ofs can all have a second one.

edit: Did play BR Gul'Dan once now against a Pala, but he killed me before a combo went off... with the Ashbringer of a Tirion who instantly died to my preemptive Doomsayer. Don't even know what deck that was.

edit: Odd Rogue! BR Gul'Dan wins against odd rogue.

edit3: I actually did win against Mech Warrior on T15 thx to BR Gul'Dan.

edit4: Look at this marvellous lethal on T6: https://hsreplay.net/replay/mPiRbPHmuCx6BN7t8t9NPB

Don't 2 drop on T2. Sometimes use acidic instead of Homonculus. Played around Mass Hysteria/disguised my power level and then saw and executed it.

In EU at Rank 4 and up at least half of Warlocks are control.

Keeping acidic won me quite a few games.

What's the chance of drawing either Cavern Shinnifynder ( 2 in deck) OR Kingsbane until turn 2 ?

I assume you're throwing anything else in the Mulligan.
The chance to not get it in the Mulligan w/ [w/o] coin is:
    27/30*26/29*25/28[*24/27]=0.7204 [0.6404]
If you didn't get it in the Mulligan, then you draw 4[5] more cards until turn 2, so the chance for that is
    27/30*26/29*25/28*24/27*[23/26]=0.6404 [0.5665]
Which leaves an overall chance to not get the cards until turn 2 at
36,28% with coin and 46,13% without coin.
    1-36,28=63,72 and 1-46,13=53,86
verdict: If you can avoid it, then don't hard-mulligan for those cards.

I've changed 8 cards now and still need some more tweaking, but this deck helped me a lot to build a very cheap anti-meta deck, thank you.

Right now I'm back to Rank 5 with 60% winrate.

Some Opinions: Rallying Blade is bad. Even in this deck 3 Mana 3/2 is way too bad for the underwhelming effect.

I suggest to stay at 1 Aldor Peacekeeper max, maybe even dunk him completely. He might save you from dying, but you'll create a ping-monster. On the other hand 2 Equality is a must and there's no excuse not to use 2 in this deck.

Never eat more than 2 own shields before baiting out all the amount of removal that your opponent will statistically have. (For example Warrior at least 2. Rogue often 2 Saps. Midrange-Mage maybe 1 Poly OR BGH. Midrange Druid after the BGH-nerf none.)

I added in 1 Forbidden Healing and 1 Ysera as Tech choices and will tinker with those cards. Even though both are high cost they serve 2 completely opposite purposes. Both have won me more matches than when they were dead, but that was probably just lucky.

-1 Selfless Hero +2 Argent Squire -1 Blessing of Kings +1 Blessing of Champions -1 Stand against darkness.

I don't like SaD too much, that's why just 1. I actually even tried -1 Blood Knight and it worked fine. Now you'll ask why I'd add 2 Argent Squires and even then remove one Blood Knight and the answer is that I was not trying to pull any fancy combos, but just to deplete my opponent of his ping-possibillities and then either beat him by tempo (if he choses to excessively use Hero Power and does not play his C'Thun until Late) or by value (if he decides to ignore my 1 health creatures in order to not lose Tempo or plays an early 12/12-like C'Thun.)

Note, that we have - for paladin standards - unusually much burst, so when our opponent decides to play a eco-turn in order to out-value us we will often enough kill him with Truesilver/Blessings/Consec/Keeper.

Can you please explain why you'd chose the mechanical Yeti over a 2nd burly rockjaw trogg.

Actually I think your explanation as of why is pretty good, so thanks for taking your time with that.

Arcane Shot is a Hunter spell. There are ways to have it in your deck, but not from raw constructed deck only RNG included.
Oh wait, that was a typo of mine, I meant to say Arcane Blast aaand... I totally failed to realize, that this spell only targets minions, so in the end I'm sorry for that too.

At 30fps and 90 seconds time it's only 16.200 damage max.

But yeah, thaurissan section would be kinda silly.

"This calculation is not counting with mulligan which would increase the odds even more."

I think this point is under-emphasized, because in most cases you'd mulligan for your early game very aggressively and with coin that is a difference between 4 or 7 cards drawn at T1, which is huge. It's not that hard to calculate if you just say we mulligan 100% aggressively for our early game and thus draw 7 cards or is it?

Also I think Reno isn't as bad as it sounds. If you play Reno-Warlock with double Voidcaller and you Mulligan 100% for Voidcaller and plan to play Reno @T12 with 5 Lifetaps (you'll lifetap a lot if you NEED to draw) and you got the coin, then you'll draw 21 cards - 1,5 Discounts for redrawing a mulliganed card = 19,5 cards or a 88% Chance to draw Voidcaller and 17 cards for Reno which gives 57% totalling in 50% to pull the combo off, vs a 60% Chance if you run 0 duplicates and keep Reno half of the time (for example not if no early game at all.)

So you can do this if you think that the 2nd Voidcaller gives you enough advantage to make your win-condition fail more often and you think, that you can stall the game until at least T10 while lifetapping multiple times at the same time, then go ahead. The chances without the double Voidcaller in some scenarios are higher by only about 20%. (50%*1,2=60%)

The other plan is grinder and freeze mages who are excellent at stalling and like never want to play Reno before having drawn 25 cards. Go ahead and put in 10 duplicates, the graph tells you that it's fine. Also you actually can on average play Reno 3-4 turns earlier if you go down from 10 to 4 duplicates.

On another note for cards like Unstable Portal, Recombobulator, Bane of Doom, etc. I would recommend sorting the cards on a scale from 0 (worst) to 1 (best) and then drawing the graph along that line from worst card to best card.

For Blingtron 3000 there are three possible graphs like that. The first is solely on attack damage, because either you try to push for instant lethal and then attack Damage is what you need or you don't and then the effect is as good as the opponents weapon that you destroy and the rest is symmetric (no graph needed). The 2nd Graph would be on weapon health if you plan to combine blingtron with harrison jones and the 3rd graph would be weapon value for combinations with harrison jones and/or acidic swamp ooze.

Is Burgle still in the making? Because I would sort the cards not by how good (the card pool is mostly balanced on that side) but by situation. Ping, Removal, Reach, Buff, AOE, Silence, Survivability, card draw. Then I can reflect what my deck is missing and what I am week to and if the classes I am weak to offer the spells that my deck misses, then I might want to run Burgle.

For dark peddler you should list the chance of having at least 1 card be a good outcome, not all 3, because you can't get the other 2 anyway, but if all 3 are bad, then that is a bad outcome.

posted a message on Should out of circulation cards still be available in RNG.

I agree that Blizzard made a good decision at that point.

But mainly because the new game mode is supposed to be easier to learn for newbies and that would feel very silly if there are cards you've never seen before and might never see again popping up all over the place.
