catfart_us posted a message on Kolento's Rank 1 Legend NA/EU Hunter DeckPosted in: Kolento's Rank 1 Legend NA/EU Hunter DeckA creature with one heath vs mage is treated either as a spell or is held for a combo. I would treat Ironbeak Owl like a spell, meaning you know he is going to be pinged off. And hold Starving Buzzard for the turn you play UTH.
You can also try and force the mage's play by leaving */1 out having her waste two mana that could have been more useful towards her development. You really have to play "your turn only" against mages when considering development.

Pyromelter posted a message on Reynad Zoo WarlockPosted in: Reynad Zoo WarlockQuote from PoeticStanziel »The deck continues to fare great. There is no hard counter to the deck at the moment. I have 150 matches with it, with a 69.5% win-rate. About the weakest match-up I have is with Hunter aggro, of which I have a 52% win-rate; there are a lot of hunters in the meta at the moment. I'd probably have a 75% win-rate with this deck if it weren't for the Hunters.
Pay2win warrior and druid (the decks that all run 3+ legendaries) hard counter this immensely, especially high-level warrior. Even if you keep good board control and whittle down his life, it just takes one alexstrasza to drop you to 15 health, and then next turn you're getting a ragnaros or a grom to the face.
You usually aren't seeing the 6-7 legendary warrior decks until rank Legend through 5, so your win rate would be consistent with casual and all lower ranks under 5. Warriors and druids simply have too many answers for the zoo deck at high levels for it to be played as it is posted here.
I've been working on an improved version of this deck on my own, and if I hit legend I'll post it, but I'm too afraid to publish it until then, I don't want people knowing what I'm playing exactly, although it's very similar to this, there are a few tweaks that can make this deck better.

nutweave posted a message on Ice in your eyePosted in: Ice in your eyeLol...Control warrior murders it. So does a paladin with tons of heals. Watcher druids that don't get horrible draws. Any decks with a fair amount of taunts. Etc..
It's basically an anti-hunter deck. Ok against zoo too depending on cards.

Dreadmaker posted a message on Dreadmaker's Nightblade RoguePosted in: Dreadmaker's Nightblade RogueHuh. Well, I'm sorry the deck isn't working out for you; have you watched my videos? To be fair, it isn't a deck for beginners, and it requires a lot of thinking. It's a tough one to pilot, but if you know what you're doing, I find it's really quite effective. I say that as someone who's now rank 3, almost 2.

Fluxflashor posted a message on MalygosPosted in: MalygosMalygos was the Aspect of the blue dragonflight and one of the most ancient creatures living on Azeroth, and one of only a handful who were alive at the time the Titans departed. Norgannon, the Titan master-magician and keeper of lore, granted Malygos a portion of his vast power. From then on, Malygos would be known as the Spell-weaver, the guardian of magic and hidden arcanum. Malygos was a leviathan with small wings. His body was covered with crystalline scales of pure azure. His body shone with shifting colors that change constantly from blue to silver.
With lucidity restored to him, there were some - particularly the red dragonflight, and even members of his own - who did not like where his mind was going. Believing that the spellcasters of the mortal races were responsible for all of Azeroth's troubles, Malygos began a terrible war to purge the world of "rogue" magic users, including the Kirin Tor of Dalaran. Realizing the situation had grown out of hand, Alexstrasza rallied the remaining dragonflights (Nozdormu, and Ysera) in the Wyrmrest Accord to combat Malygos's genocidal crusade. After much conflict around the Nexus, heroes entered Malygos' inner sanctum and, with the aid of the red dragonflight, killed him, ending the war but depriving magic of its appointed guardian at a crucial point.

awesome to hear! yeah, mana addict is an ok addition, though i'd probably sub leeroy with Argent Commander

so the obvious change to improve this particular deck would be Bloodmage Thalnos instead of the kobold. i feel like 1x Arcane Golem and 1x Leeroy Jenkins in place of the 2x Wolfriders would do much to increase it's win rate as well.

i think i'm bad at rogue. i have a really hard time with this deck. on one hand i can out tempo and control the absurdity of control warriors, but on the other i get messed up by any monster spamming aggro deck.
