ctrl warrior isn't bottom of the barrel in this meta lolol. Even with a mana increase, they'll still run 2 of. I don't think it'll mean much, maybe a resurgence in the reno archetype for more sustain overall.
Quite rip. I can see a reason to play him still, but there is no longer a reason for mass spells or brann bronzebeard. BUT, that's the beauty of a ccg being a ccg and not a tcg I guess.
yee i mean if the luck isn't there for you, you gotta do what you gotta do. play it in situations where you have no board and very little hand and your opponent does have board. It's around a 60% chance that yogg wipes the board and draws you cards which is why everyone plays him b/c that's crazy unfair.
call of the wild is arguably the best on "curve" play in the game at the moment. I've seen and played game after game where call of the wild ends it or frames the ending well enough. Aside from, potentially, that single card, I really don't think there are OP cards in standard. Now, mysterious challenger and mad scientist are absurd and should have been nerfed a long time ago. For those cards to be legal in wild, but other overnerfed and now unplayable cards to have gotten the shaft is ridiculous. Wild should be completely unbalanced from 8 mana pyro all the way to warsong commander.
but I guess that's my unpopular opinion. blizzard will never buff a single card in the game after all, look at their response to purify.
Imo too slow, but not enough overall playtesting to really include them in this particular deck. I still need to playtest malchezaar too, of course. I like the rng aspect of the deck overall, but I'm thinking about butchering that idea for a more competitive legendworthy deck.
c'thun control warr i assume you're talking about? yeah, if that's being spammed on your ladder meta, you should definitely play a different deck. Ctrl warrior in general is a hard counter to mage.
ethereal conjurer is the best card you can run for its particular spot. I suppose you could try faceless summoner, although I was thinking of replacing flamestrike with it, but flamestrike deals with so much in the meta right now. Arcane giant feels too slow for the deck, especially if you draw it early as it'll ONLY be dead in your hand until it's cheap enough to put on the board and do whatever else it is you wanted to do that turn.
I'm sure more and more people will test arcane giant to get the truth behind the card's potential though.
Potentially, but that would mean giving up spells. I don't believe the card fits the theme of the deck, but in a heavier control or freeze mage type deck, I could see arcane giant seeing plenty of playtime.
I think replacing tony is a good idea since the meta doesn't really favor him anymore. Arch-thief doesn't fit well in this deck, because it takes two turns of only playing him and the card you get from him to do anything. I don't think the body is worth it. If I knew what cards you had I could give you some tips, but since yogg's effect is immediate, he's the best late late minion for this deck. PM me if you need any other tips.

Yeah I think he'll still be played, but it'll be a substantially lower chance that he does what you want him too now that when he's gone, he's gone.

A god tier deck in the meta holy moly.

This is certainly one of the clunkier forms of yogg tempo. They got hard countered by warrior in general.
