ShQQta posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!Posted in: General DiscussionI remain convinced that matchmaking is manipulated based on deck contents with the intention of nudging players into purchasing packs. Activision/Blizzard has registered a patent on manipulating matchmaking to encourage "micro transactions" and micro transactions as a source of revenue are worth literally billions to Activision. My anecdotal observations of the matchmaking over thousands of games coupled with the above two facts lead me simply not to believe Blizzards statements that ladder matchmaking is solely based on rank.
Even if I'm wrong and you are not being pushed into playing new expansion cards every expansion is a giant fucking con anyway with broken card combos left to run on ladder to encourage pack sales. Raza Kazakus Anduin anyone? Spreading plague Jade idol ultimate infestation anyone?
New players, take it from me. NEVER spend money on this giant con. You will regret every dollar.

I'm done with hearthstone for a while. That totally sucked.

Most of the brawls have been pretty unbalanced, and a good number of them have been heavily RNG. Don't like it? Don't play it.
Yes, people are "entitled" when they don't like something and /or complain.
Of course.
If you think a brawl mode sucks, then complain about it so they don't recycle it. Seems like pretty common sense behavior to me, but apparently that's just bratty self-entitlement lol.
Btw blizzard actually pays people to scour forums and reddits to see what people think of their game. And speaking as a game designer myself, I do read the reddits and reviews of my games to see what I can improve and change for the next ones or from updates. Because I'm smart and I don't just sit there telling people who play my game that they're crybabies for not liking my game. -

FrankDeanSmith posted a message on THE BEAST IS UNLEASHEDPosted in: THE BEAST IS UNLEASHEDSo far 0-5 with this deck at rank 18. So many aggro decks, if i'm lucky to get 1 minion down it's gone immediately. I just can't ever seem to get control of the board. I haven't been able to keep any minions on the board for more than 1 turn. What am I doing wrong? Mulligan for the 1 drops don't seem to help.
I tried this deck ( 45 games ) at rank 5 and I gotta tell you that it only gets harder to play and grind out wins with this deck. This deck is really only good against four or five other decks ( Midrange & Aggro /hunter, Aggro Paladin, Shaman and Zoo Lock ). This decks fails horribly against Hand Lock, Control Paladin, Control warrior, Freeze Mage, Tempo Mage and is impossible to win against Rogues of any style.
Kolento did a write up about this deck ( and IMO this is hands down the best Dragon Priest deck out there ) and said that the match ups that I said were hard to win are medium to easy for him, well we are not Kolento, he is a fucking BEAST at HS. My advice to you friend is that if you cannot pilot this deck at rank 18 then you should probably use another deck.
Your match ups will only get tougher & tougher as you run into more Rogues, Warriors and Hand Locks further up the ladder.

People enjoy being able to control the game, the brawl is 100% RNG, people hate coin tossing, me included.

I adore control games and hate aggro cheap shotting the face dead in 6 turns, to each his own.

bam, I picked heads

I usually try to moderate my comments but this is the worst POS brawl RNG BS, god i hate rng

I'm playing a druid deck that has felreavers, I use them when I got the cards it my hands that I need to win. I typically use 1 at turn 8 right before the 14 dmg Force of Nature+Savage Roar doesn't guarantee a win on the next turn but it does empty the opponents hand.

yeah it's a bit drastic, I take it back, that being said... you might wanna turn your jerk dial a few notches down, makes you look kinda salty.

How about patrons spawning at 50% rather than 100%?

I don't see why everyone posts their version removing Ancient of War it gives me a turn to set up the finishers.

The combos you can pull off to clear the board has to infuriate more than one opponent, imho this is the best control deck out there, plays right on the mana curve, has tons of creative removals +1

Al'Akir the Windlord can be one of the strongest cards in the game if used properly and in the right situation.
