I think this will change what we know about deck building if this indeed becomes widely used. We will be forced to take to account an alternative win condition in preparing our decks. Combo will surely suffer but this might push for a different meta wherein decks are not just a one trick pony relying on Alextraza or the new class DK and others.

Anyways, they can take my Eater of secrets or Harrison jones anytime if i'm facing warlock

posted a message on Anyone having arena losses bug when disconnect ?
    Quote from ChoaticSquid >>

When you cue and the cancel button goes away it means that it found a match and it is connecting so if you leave then it will disconnect you from your game. Hence you lose

Yes, you will be awarded a lose for disconnecting while queuing if the cancel button is gone. What the other player will see is as soon as the game hands you your cards the opponent would look like he conceded and proceeds to explode. I've seen this happen in my arena runs and i think that they didn't do it on purpose. Did you by any chance got bored by the long wait to connect to your game when the cancel button is gone so you exited the app?

It's the reason you don't let a shaman build up a big board of minions. Without a board it's useless.

     ^^ I agree

Just asking guys. It is said "Play 3 games of Arena". Does that mean you play 3 arena games regardless of win/loss or is it 3 arena runs? Thanks for the input

posted a message on Analyzing the meta; halting the salt

Thanks for sharing you game play statistics. According to your data, you've faced 14% Rogue and 10% Warriors in this meta which are considered to be cancer to many people and Druid clocking in at 22%. As you can see, many people are still trying to dismiss your claims that this is a balanced meta. They may say that they faced Quest Rogue 5 and PW 10 straight times while playing. I think these instances should be looked at what rank they are in. In my own opinion(this is from my experience and mine only), most of the aggro are around rank 20-15 and then they tend to thin out until until i reached ranks 11-10 where they are almost everywhere. after that its diverse meta again until reaching 6-5.

My point is, where are they ranked when facing these archetypes 30-40% at a time? Is it rank related? I'm not bothered if queued to Quest rogue or PW. I may win or lose some and i accept that because i know i have a fighting chance. Facing Priest is a different matter, I always take a bath after facing one:)

TL;DR Liking the meta and i agree there are more viable decks out there other that what is listed on the Tier 1

posted a message on Max McCall on Keywords in Standard Format

MTG does this every block(3 expansions=1 block) and usually supports the theme of the new cards. It is their way of making the game new or refreshing to the old players and a stepping stone to the new ones. They release these mechanics in hope to introduce a new way to play and also to change the current standard meta.

But some cards transcends modes(Legacy, Modern, Standard) and creates a powerful deck archetype. This is then that MTG can ban/restrict those cards if they become problematic. With so many cards already in their lineup, many decks will become op in their respective format and no amount of card testing on their side that this can be avoided. The community is the collective that builds these deck.

Reusing keywords would make the game more straight forward and build consistency for standard and wild deck building. The only way for the team to introduce new mechanics is by way of situational cards like Second-Rate Bruiser and Blackwing Technician. Hoping for the new themes for each class in the upcoming expansions would be viable, and also fun to play.
