I usually craft any legendaries I really want at the start, then spend all my gold (10k as of now) on packs, then keep buying packs daily (with gold) until I my legendary timer resets...sometimes I buy even after that If I miss a couple rares and/or have a few goldens that I don't have regular copies of, so I can safely DE them.
After that I start saving for the next expansion, which usually ends up at above 10k (depending on events) and so the cycle continues while my dustbin steadily grows
Why do you craft the cards you really want before opening packs? You might be lucky and get those cards in the packs, and craft them only if you don't get them. Is it because you craft the golden version?
I got both pre-orders and will probably hit close to 9k gold. I'm planning on not using any gold until after I open the 130. I'll look at my collection and see what I'm missing of what I wanted. Another thing I'll keep in mind is how close to the pity timer I am. I probably won't buy any additional packs until after the solo content.
TL:DR - after you open your 130 packs, look at what you got and decide if buying more is worth it, or if you are happy with the collection you got.
Any reason for 130 packs? I've read about that exact amount in several places and I'm curious about it.
I use this tool to track my pity timers https://pitytracker.com/ (and compare my luck with the average player)
If you play on your computer and smartphone, it's better than HDT plugin because you can add the packs you open in any device. But you need to add them manually, so if you only play on your computer, HDT plugin could be a better option.
I don't know about Zayle, where did you get the info? I'm looking for it. Found it, it's similar to Whizbang the Wonderful, and it's a reward for completing the adventure, regardless if it was bought with money or gold.
Taking into account the gold I need to get the same number of packs with both options: Option 1 + adventure bought with gold: 92 packs (80 + 12), 2800 gold Option 2 + packs bought with gold: 92 packs (72 + 20), 2000 gold
So another reason to take the second option, I think I will take that one.
Thank you all for your help, and I hope this is also useful for other players :)
what is this first week bundle btw? can u explain from where u know that there will be one and what it contains ?
Shadow Bundle: During the first week of the expansion’s release, the Shadow Bundle will be available, containing nine Rise of Shadows card packs and an Arena ticket for $9.99 (players can purchase the bundle only once per account).
You're right, good to know. But I read that buying the adventure includes a golden legendary, so the difference would be "+1 normal legendary" (the one in the 50 pack bundle) instead of "+1 golden legendary". I'm editing the first post.

(Shhh... if they are aware of this the price will be higher the next time!)

Any advice against highlander hunter? I can never win that matchup

According to https://pitytracker.com statistics: Legendaries per 1000 packs: 3.8
I got 3 in my first 1000 packs, so my luck is a bit below the average but it looks right

I think that is the reason, I disabled it half an hour ago but probably there's not enough time left for getting my pack :(

Have you already received the RoS pack for watching 4 hours? I watched the full stream yesterday and nothing yet...
I just checked my twitch settings to be sure that the connection to blizzard account is right, and it is.

I'm curious about pogo-hopper decks in the next expansion, but also a bit worried. I think that too much OP cards are coming :S

Are you saying that the adventure includes a golden legendary? Where did you get the info? Does it matter if it's bought with gold or money? Thanks!

That's exactly where I read the info.

no, I don't really care about skins, so I guess we can ignore that bullet

What I read about 50 pack bundle and 80 pack is that both of them include a random normal legendary, not a golden one. Are you sure of that?

I'm thinking about increasing my budget for the new expansion, and I'm considering these options:
The price of both options is the same, and the second option has these differences compared to the first one:
If I choose the first option, I would buy the adventure with gold. If I select the second one, I would use the gold for buying packs.
What option do you think is better? Or something else I should take into account?
Thanks!

Dust only enough cards to craft the ones you need/want. This way, when nerfs come, your chance of having extra copies of nerfed cards is higher.
That said, I would dust the extra copies and craft the HoF cards you can afford, but I wouldn't disenchant those lengendaries.
