    reminds me of both Astral Communion and Nozdormu the Timeless, but on steroids. This don't discard your hand, and don't allow your opponent to go crazily insane first, and have 2 copies. Could fit in many decks, great counter to first few turns after played, especially with the nature of Druid, Draw and Ramp, with little card generation. Even have value against fast decks, if dropped early. I think this card will be nerfed soon. The only weakness this card has is after 3-4 turns, big decks can spam cards to overrun druid, whom's board clear is rather weak, But against value, or board clear heavy deck, it wouldn't be punished hard.

    Special note to point out, playing this card will have your combo set up no matter what kind of combo you have. So if you can somehow ramp before 4 turns, they will most likely be death no matter what they play, great card in Wild, but doesn't fit Druid's theme this expansion.

    Probably because of the mini-expan. They expected pre-order sale would not be like the last expansions due to Covid. The mini expan on the other hand would take some back. New systems are also introduced, which require more times for experimenting and balancing. Later release would be even harder due to second wave. This should be the best time for releasing new expansion.

    problem with murloc is, BG has no punishment for going super late comp. 40 hp is a bit too much. I want to build an early comp, but I barely deal enough dmg until I got choked hard by some random murlocs.

    For a slow control deck, how about Hex? Maiev is OK but she is only good in fast decks. You still need to remove that minion after it awakens tho. The Lurker Below should be considered as well.

    True, the problem is that 3 decks can destroy any other classes. Play Druid against Sec Mage? How about a bunch of Flamewalker/ Reno Quest Mage? Play aggro against Flamewalker? Get ready for Sec Mage/ Reno Quest. Play Albatross against Reno Quest Mage? Brave yourself upon the other 2. If there is a deck that counter 2 of them, such deck must be tier 1, but well, nothing at tier 1 other than Mages. There are some variables with Even Shaman, that can counter both Sec Mage and Flamewalker, but those variables will get destroyed if face any other decks. Not to mention next expansion Mage will receive a lot of tools, especially Evocation, and Apexis Smuggler (Netherwind Portal maybe?). 

    With Sec Mage I don't mind the face dmg from spell. But what I mind is secret comes with a body that could go face. For example Kirin Tor Mage in turn 3 follows up by Explosive Runes against board heavy decks, or Counterspell [/card]against slow decks will 90% guarantee to deal 4 dmg next turn. The addition of Flakmage/ [card]Flame Ward in Uldum truly push Sec Mage's weakest match-up: spammed heavy decks, into favor match-up. I don't mind Aluneth that much. If I have like 20 hp or more with a decent board state, they will die of fatigue after equipping it. My suggestion is that nerf Arcane Flakmage to 3(4) mana is OK, since it will make Mage weaker against spammed heavy decks, which is another favor match-up besides slow Druid. Also, I don't think paying 3 mana for a board clear is healthy either but it is what it is.

    With Quest Mage in general, back then when we don't have much cheap spell generators, finishing the quest is hard. Now you just need to finish the quest, wait to turn 9, play Archmage Vargoth into Open the Waygate, and spam 1 or 2 giants down, and win the game immediately. No need to draw much. Surviving is an easy story for Reno decks in general, so between 2 semi-combo deck, Reno Priest and Reno Mage their control ability is around the same, but Reno Mage is just faster in killing your opponent. I think that Quest should be finished within 8 spells, and Open the Waygate should cost 7 mana. Flamewaker also. It hits fast and hard, especially with Sorcerer's Apprentice. The appropriate nerf would be increasing mana cost, but the problem is not Flamewaker, it's because of cheap spells.

    After all of that, I think that change is good, it makes the game healthier, but I think that Wild should not be too wild. On the other hand, some changes would end up killing many people's favourite archetypes, and it is not fun either. I think the best would be establishing a ban list (like Yu-Gi-Oh), that will temporarily remove oppressive cards, lead to one-sided meta, until other new cards are published and tested. This changed will not only change the boring meta in Wild, which replicates over and over in any expansions regardless of what cards are printed out, but also create a new game mode for testing and stuff. But it's up to Blizzard to decide what happens in Wild. If they don't change Mage which means that Mage is still in OK spot I believe.

    Most people see DH broken, I personally don't feel that way. Big minions hasn't been around for years. Most of the time we see cards with 5 or less mana in slow decks, unless they are either combo pieces, cheatable cost (with luna),or really high impact cards (dragonqueen for instance). If Blizzard tries to push high cost minions out, of course they want it to be impactful. So here we are. Ofc judging by the fact, they are a little overpowered, but overpowered doesn't mean it's broken. They tried to experiment cards' theme, how does it work, its impact to the meta, etc. Even after all that, a little overpowered defines meta and stuff like that. If it's completely broken I'm sure that they will nerf it.

    I just think off, and wow bonker. Imagine combo deck just leave an 1/3 on the board and do absolute nothing, and wait for the draw. It's like checkmate.They either have to deal with their 1/3 or they deal with 12/12. They can't even swarm the board

    what are you talking about? It's fun at rank 15 with various kinds of deck. If you want to try to improve your skills, I suggest you to go to Wild, it's much easier to climb there than in standard. I climbed to rank 5 at wild and have fun at rank 15 in Standard.

    Lol. Who tf ropes when opponent netdeck? Such a moron. If they are testing something, they have to be prepared that there would be failure. It's science, if you test and success then you are just lucky. Just like committing to themselves that the deck they build is weaker than a netdeck. Even more retarded when do it in rank. Btw, there are still plenty of people netdeck yet still stuck at rank 15, while some people try a meme/tier 3, 4 deck and hit legend (nah jk, only happen in wild), so it's kinda skill as well.
