I'm 99% sure that LoR didn't invent cards that have an bonus effect if you have X cards left in your deck.

You willfully ignore how abysmally small the online community is. It looks big to you, as a member of the community, but it is really not a high %. The majority of the playerbase play HS extremely casually, don't interact online, don't watch streams, read forums and so on.
All of the names that you've mentioned stream HS regularly to this day.

IMO this card won't ruin the meta. But bomb warrior and the card that draw minions and make them 1/1 might though. THis rogue that uses togwaggle will be like other rogues essentially imo. A huge rock paper scissors thing. Gets rekt by aggro but beats control

Resurrection effects or broken because of cards like cloning gallery and barnes. With standard losing both radiant and shadow vision plus the fact this is 9 mana it won't be as cancerous.

true. But if I think more about it, I feel like this card is slightly better than I thought but not because it shows me what my opponent hand is. If this meta is somehow super control oriented and they print something busted like frost linch jaina or any other greedy card that wins games on its own, then maybe I would play this card just to get an extra card. Guess we will have to see but I am 99% confident that seeing three cards in my opponents hand is barely relevant to how good this card is.
Edit: also for the case of dirty rat. Lets say im laying against hadranox druid. This druid usually has a bunch of cards in his hands so the chances of my seeing exactly hadronax is probably not too high. Beside this situation, there is a lot of situations you won't see what you want to see

Think seeing three cards in your oppenent hand is barely relevant tbh. Like lets say im playing some sort of tempo priest. Well as a tempopriest I am always scared of aoe obviously. So i play this card to check 3 cards in my opoppens hand right? Well these are the two possible outcomes that can happen:
1) I see an aoe in my opponents hand and play around that aoe
2) I don't see the aoe in my oppoents hand, BUT it is still possible that the others cards in his hand are aoe, so you still play around it. It's not like I'm going to go greedy if I know three cards in his hand are not aoe.
However, a 3 mana 3/2 won't obviously see play in a tempo deck. Well in control, knowing what your opponent has in there hands is barely relevant also. Sure you can think of lets say psychic screaming a board but you see whats in your oppoennt hand and you want to save it for those cards. The thing is that I don't think paying 3 mana for seeing three cards in your oppoent hand is even worth it and these type of situations are more rare than common.
I feel like this card will see play but only because it can add a card to your hand,

I think people have to realize that just because a card is not played it does not mean it is bad. Sometimes it is because of the meta. For example if this meta was the first meta ever created in hearthstone then by that logic preperation is a bad card because its not played in competitive decks (atm). However that is not the case since preperation is one of the best card in the game. Another is elemental invocation (imo.) This card has the potential to be broken, but every other deck is more broken there a turn 2 water elemental (sometimes)
And sometime a card is really good but it relies on other cards to be good and those other cards are not good. That is how I feel about deadly arsenal. An example of a card that is very good but bad in this current standard meta is gorehowl. Gorehowl is simply too slow for like every meta deck like hunter and odd decks. However, there are definitely metas where gorehowl is insane. Arcanite reaper is not that bad of a card either but its very meta dependent like gorehowl. I believe a more slow meta will be the time where these big weapons shine and this is when deadly arsenal is actually good. Of course it probably wont see play since odd will be probably just ridiciously better but deadly arsenal is not a bad card.
Same for lights sorrow. Just think of it. With enough divine shield support it can be potentially a 3/4 weapon. It is not insane but it can be better than truesilver if set up correctly. However I think 4 mana might be too much since you have to have divine shields before hand but there are much worse cards.
Same could be said for most of these cards. But yeah duskfallen aviana will most likely always be bad since it gives your opponent such a strong effect.

spellstone is still good and you get five secrets essentially

Ungoro was alright it was very gimmicky but not that much replay value. Best adventure imo. Lich was decent nothing special tbh. Fighting lich king was nothing special imo. Witchwood was way too easy and less way to build you deck in Rahkastan. Never did boom. I feel dungeon run was better at the time but there was a huge power level in bosses. Imo WW<rahkastan<cobolds

elemental shudderwock shaman? Also you can look at hsreplay for decks.

to be fair one game isn't enough to base facts off of

greenskin seems good. But kingsbane rogue basically alreaddy wins against control and greenskin is mostly better in the control match up. Greekskin is good but you should be fine
