    The thing is, we hear this every year, every expansion.  I don't doubt your concerns are valid but I think it's worth considering thrm in context.

    The story of Hearthstone is one of classes rising to the top, becoming over-used, and then being targetted by the meta / superceded / nerfed.

    It doesn't make your current situation more bearable but precedent should give you confidence that this is only temporary.

    Go back through this forum and look for all the "this game is dead" threads and you'll see.

    Hang in there.

     This, I have been playing HS many years, and it is always the same story repeating as you say. Many players that complain about the meta for not being able to win with wacky decks, about netdeckers, etc. Their complains are valid too, but that is what meta is all about, the fault is not on the players for wanting to play good decks, its the dev team that did not deliver a good product that is balanced enough.

    Dk is going to stay on top until someone discover a counter deck and/or Blizzard hits it with the nerf hammer. What I see is that the trend with this expansion is that old archetypes are really strong still. Imp Warlock, Blood DK, Frost DK, Unholy DK, Pure Paladin, Miracle Rogue, if they get nerfed the next tier is going to rise, Shadow Priest, Relic DH, Big Spell HUnter and Mage. It is not going to end until they hit all of those or they rotate out.

    It is difficult to certainly hit the nail in the head to create a diverse meta, but we have just to wait and see. I have left HS many times when I do not enjoy the meta, and come back the next expansion, at the end of the day it is just a game and there are plenty of other things to do besides having a bad time in a game you do not enjoy. There were always be people that enjoy a meta and others who don't, so enjoyment is really subjective and I do not think that is healthy to blame other players for simply using the tools available to win and enjoy the game. Instead that frustration should be directed at developers for not delivering a product up for your standards.

    Easy, create uncomfortable sticky board to clear for your opponent. Do favorable trades a la good ol' hearthstone, you know, fight for the board. You finish the game with Grave Strength AKA Bloodlust or with Lord Marrowgar

    I like the “I mean no offense” there following an extensive enumeration of pejorative qualifiers about people who complain about certain play styles. “Your mom is a lying, thieving, smelly whore, I mean no offense, though, of course.” Next time around, maybe consider not misrepresenting other people by saying they’re “crying” when they complain about something. It’s belittling. Same thing with “grow up”, it’s also belittling.

    Complains from the userbase can be valid and lead devs to make necessary adjustments. There’s this trend going on to discredit every complaint as crying. It’s a convient discrediting tool: oh, he’s just crying, disregard.

    Just putting this out there, if your goal is to really mean no offense. Because, as it stands, it comes across as barely veiled contempt.

     Ok, I will change my wording next time, english is not my first lenguage, if someone feel offended I apologize. I really mean no offense to anyone, I just want to point that complaining about a casual mode, where there is nothing important and valuable in stake, is futile as the mode is there for people to play whatever they want and not feel presured to win.

    Most of the people I know just use it to complete quests and polish their lists before jumping into ladder. By the way, if anyone is interested in tournaments, the best way to test your deck is with scrims and ranked.

    People who cry about opponents not playing what they want just because they want an easy time should play vs the ai in practice mode. Do not expect other people to play what you want or expect, grow up. Everyone has the right to play whatever they want.

     and everyone has the right to shit/complain about what they play

     Which is childish, inmature, infertile and silly to complain that people in casual mode do not use the deck you want to win against. Just create a campaing "only meme decks" so people with ladder anxiety and casual anxiety can enjoy the game.

    I know it may sound harsh for some people what I am saying, I mean no offense. But the thing is that Hearthstone is just a game, it does not matter at all if you win, lose. If you reach top 50 legend your life won't change, if you lose stars in rankend your life won't cahnge at all. Unless you are pursuing a career in eSports, spending mental, emotional energy, getting salty or anxious over a game is not worth it. It is not like those people that uses tier 1 meta decks in casual are a chad irl. Or people that fail with meme decks are going to lose their family, job or whatever for losing in HS.

    In casual mode if you see a tryhard and do not feel like playing against it, just concede and move on, you do not lose or gain anything from it.

    I returned to hs last month and maybe that is why I do not hate this meta. Countering the tier 1 decks atm is really easy, you either beat them faster or outheal them, that is it.

    I prefer this meta over a control meta where you have to spend 1 hr game against a deck that does nothing but clear, heal and take you to fatigue.

    Zach0s suggestions in the VS Podcast seem good mostly.

    Wildpaw Knoll to 6 mana;

    Unleash Fel and Sinful Brand to 2 mana (UF should be manathirst 7 too imo);

    Glacial Advance discounts next spell by 1 instead of 2 to prevent OMEGALUL burst from hand;

    Astalor goes to 3/6/9 mana, with stats and battlecry buffed accordingly (manathirst stays the same);

    The Astalor change is great cuz it kills the Anub'rekhan combo in druid and slows down Shadowstep abuse in Rogue, while still making it a great tool for slower decks.

    My personal take is that Frostwyrm's Fury should cost corpses up to 5 to summon the 5/5 dragon. I mean, you're literally raising an undead dragon for fucks sake, this card not costing corpses doesnt make sense. This prevents the card from winning the game alone against board based decks when played back to back, as Frost doesnt have the corpse generation to create 5/5s over and over, usually.

     Also, these nerfs sound reasonable fine, it powers down the most abusable decks right now

    I prefer countering aggro and combo decks than control. What a broing meta it is 40 min games until fatigue against decks that do nothing and just clear and heal, yuck

    Any late game dragon that serves as a finisher like regular Ysera or Alextraza should  be enough but it wont be as good.

    Nice deck! The only change I would make is getting rid of Furious Felfin and introducing some kind of weapon removal like ooze or Kobold Stickyfinger
